Summary: Below are my recent Tinder experiences. Looking for strategies/critiques on how to close to get more plates.

Hey Tinder Vets and Fellow Brothers,

I've been Tindering for the past month or so. I'm 6'1, 27, law school student. I would consider myself a 7-8, but my SMV has taken a hit because recently got braces. I have an average build and exercise regularly.

I get a good amount of matches on Tinder. Nowhere near the amount the rock-climbing bro has (1100+), but every day I get about 10-20 matches. Of those, about 1/4 actually have any promise as far as looks, availability, etc.

I need help with my closing strategy. I went on two dates recently with good-looking women and both disappeared in a flash of smoke. I have a lot to learn and would like your expertise and feedback.

My usual strategy:

"Hey <insert girl name>! Having a magical <insert day of week> night?"

After that we chat about this-or-that for around 5 lines, and then I ask if she is doing anything fun over the weekend/week. After that, I ask if she'd like to meet up for drinks. If no or their schedule doesn't comport with mine, I stop texting. Otherwise, I get her number.

We meet at a bar between 7 pm to 9 pm, have a beer each for an hour or so, and then I say something like, "Let's get out of here." We split the bill, and on the way to the cars I ask, "Hey, want to get a drink at my place?"

So far, out of 5 dates I've only had this work on one girl. She came over, I made martinis, and we ended up fucking. I've plated her since then, and she's a great lover. We see each other once or twice a week.

However recently this hasn't worked with higher SMV women. The first girl I followed the same procedure with, but was getting lukewarm vibes, she was yawning, and kept talking about how she had to meal prep tonight. She agreed to come over for drinks and asked for my address, but I said home was close and she can just follow me. Needless to say, I was almost home with her following behind and she turns onto the freeway and drives away! I was shocked and called and texted to make sure, but she didn't respond, of course. I sent a final text saying thanks for the drinks and sorry she wasn't feeling it. I try to adopt abundance mentality and a smile no matter what occurs.

Next girl was a med student and looked mediocre on tinder. I was lusting for some deep-dish pizza and am in the middle of finals, so thought hey, what the hell I'll get pizza with a tinder date. Met her there, she's actually a lot more attractive then her tinder profile displays. We had a great time, she was laughing a lot and I could see the sparkle in her eye. I walked her out to the car and we hugged but I couldn't close because I was cramming for an 8 a.m. final the next morning. Anyway, text her the next day about a follow-up date and she ignores me. What the hell?

TL; DR: Let me know how you set up dates on Tinder and how to close. Would appreciate any critiques. Looking to add a few more plates.
