I'm a sophomore university student in a semi-conservative society that has been westernized but still holds on to Asian values (the richest country in South East Asia)
Went through a very bad rejection back in May and found TRP in my aimlessness afterwards. Been reading and learning a lot on it, and only recently went out to socialise again at college social events after doing that which was essential (lifting, building a frame, changing my mindset about girls, etc) though it's definitely is a process and I'm not there yet (still have blue pill tendencies). But I too recognise that not all Red Pill teaching will apply to my society so pinch of salt here and there.
Here's my conundrum. At a recent college camp (a social camp), I meet this girl in my group and we click off well. The usual things, only talking to each other, escalating through kino on both our sides and basically spending lots of time together. Everyone in the group could see it. I was just enjoying myself and taking things as it comes but trying some sexual strategy too, teasing, not being too helpful (I was that average nice guy before) and being a funny asshole (All that feels for her). This was through 2 days.
After the camp, I initiated text and her reply was very good (when I try to end the convo, she'll restart it). So day 5 of knowing her, before flying off for Bali, I dropped her a text asking for a meet up when I'm back coming Sat. Got Wi-Fi there and saw that dreaded blue tick, oh well maybe she's busy (she had gone for another camp afterwards as part of the organising committee).
Turns out our mutual friend in the same camp group later told me that she felt uncomfortable around me. He showed me the picture and what she said was exactly this:
Her: 'I have my reasons'
Her: 'Im really uncomfortable ard him'
Her: 'Pls pls pls dont try to put us tgt or ship us or anything'
(This was after I asked her out)
Both of us were confused, when everything up to the point of me asking her out was going really well and bam, uncomfortable af.
Friends feedback were that I asked her out too early (keep in mind that this is an Asian society).
My Red Pill reading tells me that she's getting the feels from another guy in the other camp maybe or that at the moment I asked her she wasn't feeling it (any readings to recommend for this situation?)
Shit thing is, my oneitis is coming back, I'm thinking too much about this (why else would I even post here) and it's honestly fustrating. I'm texting and meeting other girls too but the mind keeps going back to her.
Would appreciate some feedback on how to respond:
Approach the issue about it but non-confrontational after giving her some time. Ie 'Hey, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, hope you understand. Anw how was your weekend?' (This is what my friends recommend)
Pretend nothing happened and restart text a week later. Ie 'Hey how was your weekend'
Wait till I meet her face to face in a group setting (cause we will definitely be meeting as a camp group).
Fuck this shit. Move on, reward not worth the effort.
Any other respond that y'all want to recommend.
Appreciate constructive criticism in any way, or if you need more info to give better advice I'll share it. Thanks for reading through.
tl;dr girl trouble, what's the redpill/best response
