I'm referring to the general rule/thought that the top 20% of men get 80% of women and the remaining 80% of men fight over the bottom 20% of women. Doesn't this mean that top 20% of men, at least sometimes, sleep with bottom 25, 30 and 40 percentile women? I just can't believe this is true. The high SMV men that I have been around have never settled for women below 50%, even just to sleep with. Think about it, women in the 25-40 percentile are generally overweight and hardly desirable, and there are enough women above, say, the 70th percentile for top 20% men to be picky. And a man in the 70th percentile is typically going to be able to pull a women in the 40th and below percentile. I get that women in general view average men as less attractive than they objectively are, but isn't it more realistic for this rule to be 70/30 or even 60/40?
