While I'm confined to my bed recovering from a recent surgery I've had a little bit more time than I'd like to think about the past, and a secenario with my ex popped into my head that I'm unsure what to make of it so would like some RP'ers opinions on what was being sought

Context: My ex and I had been together about 7-8 months at this stage, and although I'd never heard (nor would I have understood) of TRP at this stage, I think I was doing a pretty good job at holding frame. I was unaware she was throwing me some shit-tests about how desired she was and other guys were trying to message her and sending her dick-pics (dunno if actually true or not) etc

Anyways she apparently wasn't getting the reaction she wanted so resorted to overt communication and asking why I wasn't getting jealous. My hardcore Blue Pill self responded with something along the lines of 'you're hot of course you're gonna get attention, but I trust you yadda yadda'

Now at this stage she just started comparing me to her friend's BF's, throwing out things like 'x's BF would be really jealous and confront the guys' etc.

I lost some frame here and said 'so you're attacking me now because I have more self control and more to lose then [these other guys]?' (I have a promising career but a small city so word gets around. In comparison, her friend's BF's worked at MacDonald's and unemployed etc]

This is the part that really confuses me, she retorted with 'yes I want you to lose your control sometimes'

This is contrary to RP thinking where self-control/frame is King, and I'm not stupid enough to believe what a woman says in that situation but in reality I must admit that I'm confused on her objective here - my best guess is that I passed her shit-tests enough to frustrate her and drive her to overtly blurt out what was annoying her, but to what end?

I dunno, I may be over-thinking it. She was a bi-polar bag of crazy(genuinely diagnosed with BPD, not just hyperbole) so perhaps hamsters just do what they do but if anybody has any opinion's or thought's on what she was trying to achieve or on how I did/should have acted, I'd be keen to hear.

Thanks, folks.
