I recently decided to try to talk to anyone, anywhere to boost my confidence, and/or destroy part of the ego. I'm currently setting the bar low , talking to 1 stranger a day and I'm satisfied. I still struggle to do it. 3 days in and I did it only once.
I've a ton of things going on in my head, but often first thing is "should I/should I not." Which I know is counter productive as fuck, and suck my energy. It makes me lose focus on the what to say and how to say it. It makes me loses momentum and confidence. I often find the thing I want to say but it's kinda too late because of that.
But one thing that feels really good is that going outside with this kind of spirit, forces me to look everywhere, to look to everybody and make eyes contact while smiling and having something funny to say in mind.
I'm french, and I live in Paris. Approaching random people in the street is viewed as kind of disturbing for many people living in this beautiful city. It's not in the culture at all.
What occured to me last 3 days was amazing. I got so many people spontaneously talking to me, say hi, or joking around, sure it was mostly men but who cares. I had instant positive feedback for just a mindset. It showed me how powerfull working on your inner game and frame is. One more thing is I enjoyed every little talk I had, even with the cashier, and I even see myself raising with jokes when the conversation took place. Old me would have try to escape.
Now I got to give less shit and start saying random shit to strangers, I really want to experiment that awkardness. But I'm still a scared little bitch, how do I get rid of this fear ?
