I'm not exactly sure if this is a detrimental thing.
The only time I'm daydreaming is when I'm listening to music and imagining scenarios where I am in front of a crowd etc, but the more I think about it, I feel this isn't such a good thing because it gives you a false sense of identity, anxiety because you are not what you are imagining yourself to be and perhaps it even makes you feel like you already "have" that kind of a lifestyle instead of actually achieving it in real life.
I'm currently trying my hardest to change this habbit, and I'm having mild success, but I feel like it will only get better with time, but I'm wondering - is it even bad? Is there perhaps an upside to daydreaming I'm not really considering? (other than, perhaps, some kind of a motivation, but that's debatable due to my previous points).
What are your thoughts on this issue? Is it an issue ? Thanks for the comments in advance.
