Last week I examined a cadaver in class for the first time in my life. I had about two minutes of anxiety upon seeing it whole -- the spongy looking flesh cut and stripped away, sunken lifeless face and hollow eyes, the smell of formaldehyde.. but that subsided as I was more interested in observing an actual body instead of plastic models.

It's kinda crazy to think that she was a thinking, feeling, living person...but she donated her body to be cut open so people like me could learn. The more I looked at the cadavers face I thought about the absolute finality of death and to be honest it still freaks me the fuck out. There was a period of time during my undergrad where my whole existence was riddled with suicidal thoughts, anxiety, depression... you may feel like this too. I felt like I had no control over anything as I smoked weed and drank everyday. Turns out I was just surrounding myself with the wrong crowd, a bunch of enablers like myself who avoided responsibility and were afraid of transitioning into the real world.

I'm glad I graduated and kept myself alive. Life has completely turned around now that I'm away from the people who let me be my worst self. 3 years ago I was so lost, but today I'm working my ass off to get into PA school, lifting, running, swimming, and fucking 3 plates. Crushing my classes and working a job that is giving me valuable experience with people I like. My week is very busy, and now I have neither the time nor the inclination to dwell on the fragility of my existence.

Just hold out a bit longer man, things WILL turn around if you really desire a change. Do something small and let each success propel you to the next. Make your bed, pick up the floor of your bedroom, maybe buy a small succulent plant to care for (only needs watering once every 2 week -- this surprisingly helped me a lot).

Do not kill yourself. Please contact a helpline, or see a therapist. There are people that can and want to help. You are not alone.

Suicide is not the answer.

I don’t care how short or ugly you are or how much of a loser you are; I was a drug addict pathetic ugly shorter than average wimp on too many psychiatric medications in high school years before my glow up and trp but I still managed to get laid now and then when I was feeling myself and I swear to god if I could do it so can you. If you kill yourself then you lose, do you want to be a loser? You have nothing to lose staying alive and fighting for victory and you just straight up fucking lose forever no retries if you kill your self. how about you take this shit seriously for five years and if then after five years of following the standard TRP advice to the T full commitment full effort and your life isn’t any better then kill your self. No pussy when you’re dead, and everybody remembers you only for what you have been up til now and nobody not even you knows what you could have been.

Why should any of us give a fuck what you do

If you're suicidal, call the suicide hotline or whatever the fuck

If you want to do better, read the sidebar and start putting some effort into what you find there

If you don't want to do better, send dick pics or stfu

Because by killing yourself you dont do, or solve anything.

If youre in a tough place, either see a therapist, go retire into a monastary, or sit the fuck up, and do whatever it is you gotta do.

Because you still haven't talk to your doctor about taking SSRIs or other drugs. That's assuming that you have enough insight to realize that you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Get help STAT!
