I'm 33 years old. My girlfriend is 30. We've been together for almost 15 months. She came home earlier this morning ultra hammered after a night out with her best friend (who I consider dumb and slutty) and claimed her phone had died during the night. I had to text her friend at 3 AM to ask where she was (they were at a club together) and she semi-reluctantly asked me to call her an Uber home.

She took a shower while she was drunk, and while she was showering I dug through her purse to find her phone. I was able to turn it on, and it had 5% battery left. I also found a message that read, "Hey, this is Eric from the elevator."

A part of me loves this girl deeply, but a lot of red flags were just raised for me. We've been living together for about 7 months. She's normally quite a good girlfriend - keeps the house impeccably clean, cooks me dinner, is very warm and affectionate, etc.

On top of all that, she works for me and my business partner. I recruited her into our company after her previous one was on the verge of failing. She's German, and would have been deported if we hadn't transferred her visa over to our company. She's a pretty good employee and adds value to the business.

Still, this is giving me serious second thoughts about this relationship. Her visa is expiring at the end of this month. We're about to take a big trip to Japan together at the start of October, then will be apart for a few months while getting her visa situation figured out. If I were going to break up with her, a very natural splitting up point is coming soon. But, like I said, I also love her.

What do you think I should do?
