Perhaps she didn’t want to have to feel the need to invite you, or perhaps she didn’t want to reject an advancement you were probably going to make.

Who cares, its her life, if she doesn’t want you, (just another guy), in it, then simply move on. You need to internalize a mindset where if some thottie lies or rejects you, you are un-phased. Simply next her and game other women.

Edit: In addition, maybe she just wanted to spend time with friends. If I were you I would set something up to see if she’s still in the ball game, or if she ever was. Don’t feel discouraged or bad because she, a girl that isn’t your plate NOR your LTR, spends her birthday with her friends. She should mean little to nothing to you, as you mean little to nothing to her.

you guys pretty close? it could be she initially did not have anything planned and then last minute decided to go. Or she just lied. Some girls love to downplay how social they are, for some reason. Like they'll say "oh i never go out, im like a grandma i'm so boring" yet they go to the clubs every weekend and get blasted.
