I like how when it comes to temperature in the workplace, women need to have "approaching zero" explained to them.

If a person is hot, there is a limited amount of layers that one can remove in order to regulate their body to a comfortable level. Technically, this amount could be "ALL" and we would be naked. This is a problem however for two reasons: 1.) Even removing all layers still wouldn't guarantee a comfortable temperature, especially if the room temperature was hot and 2.) Being naked is not acceptable in the workplace.

Now, if a person is COLD, there is an INFINATE amount of layers that one can put on in order to reach a comfortable body temperature. This works in the two ways that the alternative doesn't: Multiple layers are acceptable in the workplace, and multiple layers coupled with a cooler room temperature DO guarantee a comfortable level.

It just simply makes sense the way it is now, and wouldnt make any sense the other way around. Put on sweater and shut up.

For any woman to put this particular "issue" into a box labelled "Patriarchy", is to be a fucking idiot.
