Better to call - its something that can't be ignored as easily as a text which only blips a few times and isn't as pressing as a calls ringtone. Also if she doesn't answer - don't leave a voicemail, it'll leave her wondering why you called, and she'll have something to talk to you about if she calls back.

There's a technique called Seeding a Date

In short, it works like this:

Talk up a place you're going to go, whether it be a bounce or a date.You have to make her want to go there - really sell it. Then...Don't invite her. (You will later.)

Then, change topics. Spend a few minutes talking about something else for a few minutes - a new topic or something you've previously conversed about..

Finally, close the seed by inviting her along.

Once she's agreed to come along, exchange numbers or bounce to the place you were talking up earlier.

If it's a number close, stand around for a few minutes and continue conversation so that getting the number doesn't seem like the prize.

The reason that this technique is great is because you've already set up the date before even getting the number. Once the date is set up, the number comes easily, because you already have plans.

All you have to do after that is use the phone for logistics - texting or calling just to confirm plans.

And Remember, if the number or bounce fails then you most likely need to work more on building attraction.

Just for the record, as a female we are doing the EXACT same thing. Usually, I wait for a guy to initiate things with me because I primarily meet guys in bars and figure its a good way to flush out those who are just trying to get in my pants. Also, regardless of the gender people want to be chased and sought after. Traditionally speaking, men are the ones who chase after girls. I imagine that is whats going in with regards to them not texting you. As far as the constant texting ends, theres a few potential reasons. I know that I have a busy life and don't want to text someone 24/7. I am more of an in person/call type of girl. I'd like to think its more grown up and less juvenile. Also, if they never text back chances are they aren't interested so I really wouldn't continue to text or invest time. Those girls who are interested will always text back even if they prefer calling like me. I hope this helps!
