I am 23 and had 6 first dates in total (not counting ONS on vacation) and only two of them were something else than a walk. Both were from dating apps. One was with a girl that suggested going to thermal bath where we kissed and the other invited me to her place where also kissed but didnt smash because she wanted something serious. If the girl doesnt suggest something like that i like to go on a walk on the first date and maybe get something to drink or eat spontaneously. Yesterday i had a date with a girl i had a match with but we didnt text then we met at a club and she seemed to like me and told me to ask for her number than via chat told me to ask her on a date etc. i said lets meet but didnt tell her what we are about to so, i picked her up and drove to a beautiful area to go for a walk for 1,5h and had a nice talk where she talked 80% of the time and i tried to build some body contact but she didnt react so i couldnt escalate. I gave her some subtle compliments during the date. I feel like the date was fine but everybody says a kiss is a must on the first date. Is a first date like this good where you just got to know each other a little without escalating? I have to add that i am from Europe where many girls are not so easy She didnt text me after the date so i will do it
