The trick of using an innuendo is you’re not supposed to laugh if she doesn’t get it or she doesn’t laugh (I mean, imagine laughing at your own joke).

So it’s all safe as long as you got your poker face on.

Just like today at work my colleague said “Oh I get stiff whenever I sit down for too long.” Right after she said that I go “Oh I know how that feels. I get stiff too at times and it’s never comfortable.”

She didn’t laugh. I didn’t either. It’s just a whoosh moment. I even think sometimes whoosh moments are more fun than seeing the other person gets it. It’s like seeing a paper plane flying inches over her head. Or maybe she’ll get it tonight. Or tomorrow. Like “is it what he really meant when he said that the other day?” Idc if she finds it funny or not. I think it’s funnier when she finds out that she’s slow.

Some guys are like

blah blah blah innuendo..... pause..... pause

and its just wierd

Just leave it in your language, her subconcious mind will process it

Yeah if I paused after every bit of innuendo, it would be wierd. But if I just keep talking as though I never used it, well no-one will notice,

Innuendo also fills the role of some kind of mystery and code between only the two of you. Which can really positively tickle person's feeling of connection. Just remember that it still needs to be congruent with current mood and escalation progress. If you are talking about job and hobbys, then immediately come out with some sexual comment, it can only feel weird and premature.
