Idk man, how old are you??? If your 18+ then you need to stick your chest out and don’t soften your voice at all and just keep practicing doing that everyday and you will eventually start involuntarily doing it without even knowing

If it's quiet around you, you can't talk loudly, and vice versa. It is as simple as that. Don't bother with voice projection and all kinds of theories (deep voice, masculine voice, voice projection - all these things will just make you think you are never good enough to talk to a girl). Look at this VIDEO I made in Ukraine, it's my voice, there's no voice projection. deep voice... the voice, it doesn't matter as much as you think. That's why I said don't bother. It is just important to have something to say, otherwise if you try to improvise something only when you are in front of them, you will have problems because I doubt you have such good social skills.

It's the most generic advice but it's generic for a reason : do it again, and again, and again, and again.

It's a good thing you recognize it, so you'll keep it in mind for your next approaches and it'll get better before you know it.

Same prob as OP. I just never know what to say after the surface stuff “hey what’s your name?”, “what you taking in school?”

I’ll start by saying well done for making the approach as that takes courage. Keep doing it and as your confidence grows naturally your voice will become louder.

Believe it or not the ‘pretty’ ones don’t get approached as much as you think.

My best advice would be realise that they are human just like us. (If you’ve played sport before such as football or basketball would you mumble to your teammate ‘pass’ or would you say ‘I’M HERE PASS!’) You’re saying the same thing but which one do you think will be perceived as this guy is quite confident and sure of himself.

Exposure therapy get rejected a few times you’ll learn what not to do. Right there you realized you’re mumbling next time which is good speak up a little bit next time practice makes perfect

Idk man even as a confident grown ass man, I tend to almost whisper when things get even remotely sexual and can't help it. Nobody's said anything about it nor had it been a negative from what ive found, but its still a deep coice with downward inflection, so maybe try whispering idk lmao
