So I met this girl in the library, and we chopped it up for a bit before she went back to her friend. The second time I saw her was yesterday, and she looked completely different maybe her hair, clothes, or just the overall vibe. Thinking she was new to the spot, I went up to her, complimented her, and she said, “Yeah, we talked before.” We ended up sitting together studying, having easy back and forth conversations. She got up at one point and asked what time my class was; I told her it was in two hours, and she smiled walking away. Hours layered her friends came over. She seemed a little annoyed that I was stealing attention from her, then tried to play it off by telling her friend she would’ve gotten her homework done faster if she wasn’t distracted saying this while staring right at me, almost waiting for me to look up and see her, and we were both clearly engaged with each other before so she was trynna cover up socially. After that, I decided to bounce since her friends had arrived, and she kept saying bye multiple times as I was packing up, which felt good like things were going well. The only thing is, we both study in the same library every day. I didn’t go today, but I’m wondering if I should space out my visits to let this breathe a little, or just not overthink it and go with the flow.
