When talking to girls, I feel like I make too many self-defeating jokes. By that, I mean they may be self-deprecating, or just too goofy. For example, if she says "I just got my nails done," I might say something like, "No way, me too!" Is this too goofy/self-deprecating? How can I make more sexually charged jokes, or more neutral jokes. I feel as though my usual jokes may cause me to come across as too friendly, and therefore lose attraction. Any thoughts?
