I am pretty confident most of the time, but occasionally I have these bouts of depression that last a few days or even weeks and it takes constant affirmations, listening to countless motivational videos, etc. When I get like this, I'm tired all the time and am subjected to apathy and all this PUA stuff seems like a waste of time. I feel like I'm another person.
I am just recovering from another several days of this and in this period I watched a video on Conor McGregor (he's awesome look him up) and he tells himself that "he's the champ" and said he's always pictured himself like that. There's a similar quote by Mohammad Ali. My thing is that, I visualize success and tell myself all of these things but in the back of my mind there's a voice calling BS and saying I'm a liar. But when I don't feel so down I believe every word of it and I feel unstoppable.
So I guess my question is, how can I make this confident/positivity a more permanent state of mind? Does anyone have books/videos/philosophies/rituals that they swear by? Any help is appreciated, cheers.
