Friends with girls are kind of like girlfriends on boil with the heat set to the lowest setting. If there is not some sexual possibility / willingness then she won't keep you around because why would she keep guys around who would theoretically dump her? That would insulting to her as a friend.

Girls aren't going to build friendships with guys based off of hobbies or common interests alone. You should never be worried about opening up a girl as a "friend", this is literally their preferred process they wish guys could figure out.

All girls want to peak into if you're compatible matches and will maintain "friendship" if you aren't or there are logistical reasons it can't work atm. If you're compatible is always random, everyone is compatible with someone and it happens more often than not.
