I never thought I'd do it but I finally cold approached!

Short FR: it was in a supermarket/grocery store in the evening. I walked past this girl and her friend by the cashier till as they were bagging their groceries.

I walked by and we made eye contact the first time. As I walked by the second we both made eye contact and then she smiled so I smiled back. I then went down to another aisle then thought "fuck it".

So I went back up to her and her friend then I asked for their names, introduced myself and asked what they did and if they lived together. There were a few awkward pauses as they were packing their stuff.

They were a bit cold so I closed by saying nice meeting you and walked away - didn't really want the number after talking to her.

Anyway I just wanted to know where to go from here, I feel like I only approached because she smiled and that it wasn't too successful.
