Being flirty or not in this situation is irrelevant. She probably likes you. You friendzoned her, so doesn't matter what happens, she's still your friend. As long as you don't brake her heart, everything is fine.

I don't think she likes me, but ok, since I knew I was likely in the friendzone a while ago and totally fine with that. I was kinda surprised she didn't ask me that earlier. But it's good in that I'm naturally flirty them right?

I've found that I'm naturally doing push/pull though

I had a feeling that the friendzoned girl was going to LJBF me,
Why the hell would this matter? You friendzoned her because you weren't interested, right? If not, then you shouldn't have done that. The encounter you detailed, came off as if she was confused and had just wanted some clarity. Honestly, it wasn't so likely she would have done that if she weren't interested.
If she were not interested, she would have been more likely to let it all go and not say a thing, keeping it friendly.
Flirting too much which probably set her alarm bells off.
Again, you're missing the point that you KNOW how to flirt and escalate just fine. You know how to show intent. You know how to make your desire clear.
The problem threefold:
You're focused on girls who aren't interested.
You're missing the girls who are.
You're probably creating a lot of confusion in the matter by flirting so much with ALL those girls. You have to reserve some levels of intensity for girls you're actually going for. (Hint: PICK a girl. You can't have them all at once.)
How am I ignoring girls that are interested?
She seemed interested. More than the girls who keep flaking on you.
One girl seems all over me IRL and then is meh in text.
Meh, in text is a garbage concern. All over you IRL life = why haven't you invited her out yet? You don't need to have a heart-to-heart, pen pal experience with her over text. You just need, "Hey, let's go get some drinks/food at XYZ after school -insert day-!"
Or something like that.
I friendzoned her since she and I kinda run in the same social circles so it would be awkward if things didn't go right, and I knew she was with an acquaintance of mine before anyways so yeah. She also started it off by saying "I don't want to sound like an asshole, but.."
I didn't really escalate with her, only if you're counting hugs as escalation. Flirting was more about using push/pull a ton. I don't think I showed my intent clearly or my desire here or in any cases, with regards to sexuality.
I get that but some are interested just don't know what level.
What girls? I don't know many who are interested in me and missing on that?
Should I just tone down the flirting then? But abundance mentality though right? That's why I'm going after many girls.
I don't think she was, since I didn't feel attraction.
I have invited her out but it was vague in person and I prefer setting up plans in person that way. Guess I have to call her or text her then.
