My palms are wet and sweaty

Unprepared and never ready

And much like the chode

Who squanders his load

I am, and remain unsteady.

Her pants are tight and stretchy

Her perfume majestic and heavy

And as I approach

My heart beats a note

That prepares for when she rejects me.

I walk away stricken

Relieved of the tension

Yet gone are the feelings of failure

For every rejection that bade me to suffer

Is a brand new lesson to ponder.
