I've been in the community for several years now and many instructors, those with vested financial interests, are going to sell you a myth that anyone can get the women of their dreams just by following their material. The truth is that leagues do exist and at best game is only going to let you "punch above your weight" about 1 full point. This is largely because of hypergamy, the force that drives female mating strategy to "marry up".

For men without game, the reality is that you're only going to get 1 point below yourself and you'll be lucky to get women at an equal level or higher. If you're blessed with good looks then this probably isn't in your reality and all you mainly need to do is not put your foot in your mouth and you'll always have good results. For the rest of us who aren't blessed with good genetics, game is the answer, but only to a certain point. The reality is that there are still limits in what it can do for you. Sorry to burst your bubble fellas.

For guys with game, if you're not good looking, then at best you'll get +/- 1-2 points within your own level of overall attractiveness and that's about it....unless you happen to be that hot girls perfect type--think George Costanza & Marisa Tomei. Every once in a while a guy gets lucky with a hot girl "out of his league" because to her he is her perfect "type", regardless of how she views herself (think fetishes).

The good news is that Game (aka charisma) can buck the trend and let you get women more easily AND those above your normally attainable level. However, if you're a 7 yourself, you're odds of getting a 9 or 10 are slim to none, and that's just the way it is. The only way you'll ever get one is if you stumble into that rare situation described above. Beyond that your only option is to make yourself an 8 or 9 AND have good game.

I disagree and I agree. Lets consider what we agree on. Game can help guys who don't currently have success with women succeed with women. How does game work? IMO, it works by showing a woman the side of your actual self that she can be attracted to.

So, here is the thing. You may not be a 9 in looks. Not everyone is. But are you a 9 in anything? Pablo Picasso was not a good looking guy but he banged models because he was an 11 at painting. But you probably can't paint like Pablo.

In fact, you don't have to be a 9 at anything. She just has to believe you are. That is much easier. For her to believe it, you have to believe it. You need a credible and justifiable reason you are a 9 at something.

But if you go around with a belief that you are only a 7, you will only get a 7.

So yeah, we agree and disagree.

It is like I said - it isn't about the status you actually have but rather the status she perceives you to have.

There was a story on a video about a mPUA who posed as a reporter and said to a group of models, all 10's, that he was writing a story on how men approach beautiful women and how they react. He hung at their table taking notes. 5 more models show up and each of them great him like he is a celebrity. Hugs, kisses, they treat him quite well.

Only later did he realize that for all they knew, he could be an agent. He could be a producer. He could be a photographer. He could be their big break. They better play it safe and treat him like someone important rather than treat him poorly and miss a chance to progress their career.

This is an important story to remember. Your actual level of status is less important than your perceived level of status.
