I recently broke things off with my boyfriend of almost a year. Over the course of this year we had several talks/fights about how I was uneasy about him still being friends with so many of his "exes" (former f-buddies, mostly) and especially with me being put in situations with these women.

He minimized contact with them, but still kept inviting me to social functions he knew they would be at and expecting me to happily come along. I tried to have him put himself in my shoes ("How would you feel if you regularly had to interact with men you knew I had slept with?")

I finally had enough and broke up with him. I do realize I messed up. He sees me as someone who lacks confidence and that's so unattractive. After him seeing me in this light, I want closure that makes me feel/seem to him like the confident, sexy woman he was attracted to on the first date. Not the crying mess I was at the end. I want to feel like I'm the one breaking up with him and not like a victim.

I'm meeting him in a couple of days to exchange our things. I don't want him to remember me as someone insecure and weak. I need some technical help with this. For instance, how far should I go with the kino (hug? kiss? teasing touches?). I figure crying is out of the question, but is showing sadness in any way also out of the question?

Any advice will be truly appreciated and I'll update everyone with the story of how it goes.

EDIT: Added more details.
