For a little bit of context, I'm a 36M who has been out of the game for over a decade. Before now, I've only met women online, usually through social media.

I've seen a woman at my local gym for months now. Even though I'm obviously attracted to her, I never approached not only because it would be my 1st one but also I've read a lot that women don't like being approached at the gym.

This week I've read a lot about having the mindset that approaching a woman should be a win-win scenario. I get to know someone I'm attracted to and she gets to know how amazing I am.

Today, I just decided to go for it. Walked up to her and.....

Actually had a great conversation. Closed pretty well but turned out she has a boyfriend. She didn't feel comfortable giving me her number. But she did tell me to add her on Facebook and message her.

For this being my first cold approach ever, I'd say it went very well. Hopefully, everyone here gets to feel a win like this.
