Was in a club, and happened to walk past a girl who was trying to pull some guy out onto the dance floor. He was resisting, trying to stay seated. So, I stopped to help her. We got him standing up, but then he sat back down. So, I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the dance floor behind me.

I was pleased with how well this worked. I'd read it here, and had one previous experience with leading like this since I started reading seddit, but it was still a nice surprise.

So, we danced through a few songs. I took the opportunity between songs to pull her close (hand on back) to talk to her. Gave her a bit of a neg about not being dressed properly for the club... she responded by lightly teasing me back. Felt fine.

I know I should have escalated until rejection, but my question is this: How exactly do you escalate in a club environment? The music was too loud to talk on the dance floor. And the style of music didn't really allow dancing-while-touching. So, where do you go from there?

I need to learn the Kino ladder better.
