+45 lbs in 8 months. +2 lbs muscle/mo. That means... +29 lbs water/fat. If you were 15% BF at 135, you are now 27% BF. Yikes.

It's a personal rating. It's subjective. Why is this important?

Wtf are you talking about? OK, he went to the gym a lot. He ate a lot. He got bigger than a normal human can get, because he took anabolic steroids. Now, since he took them before everyone and their mom was taking them, he became quite popular. This popularity and unique physique propelled him into Hollywood blockbusters. Fame from his movies propelled him into politics. You just love the story that hard work and dedication will get you everything you want. And that may or may not be true. But t…

Umm, Arnold was given something on a silver platter. He got into bodybuilding right as anabolic steroids were starting to be a thing. Oh, and genetics? Doesn't get any more silver platter than that! Subtract the steroids, and he wouldn't have been as successful (if at all). Same can be said about Trump's money. Or his upbringing. Life isn't fair. A few people get some pretty crazy luck and get to become outliers. Just have to accept that. Edit: ITT -- doesn't matter if you cheat (or even steal/m…

I hear ya. Almost 36 here and I'm feeling it already. Injuries are the worst, particularly with age as the body just doesn't bounce back as fast, if at all. My dad is 60 and he tried playing me in tennis, went too hard for his conditioning and fucked his ACL up. 2 years later he still can't do anything more than walk. Probably never will. Getting old sucks balls.

At 50 you need to be worried about your joints and injuries. Lower weight, higher reps gets you to the same place with lower risk of debilitating injuries that halt progress.

No, I won't. Because you people don't seem to understand I'm really fucking experianced at this stuff. I still don't like it. I also don't care for porn, so maybe that's part of it. Normal sex is fun enough without having to keep trying to one-up the last time. If it gets boring, it's time to find someone else. And I hate that term 'anal queen'. I dont give a damn what she likes, it's my show, not hers. Fucking gross, man.

It's not even that enjoyable. You have to go slow, can't even stick your whole dick in, and it can be messy, no matter how much she prepares. I'm not a fan, but some girls like it.

Yeah, I rolled the dice. I figure military pensions are probably the safest thing left. Any situation where they cancel/neuter my benifits is one where a 401k is pretty much zero as well. Can't say the opposite.

You can't stop what's in motion. These are tectonic shifts moving here. Just do what you can to thrive in your environment. If it gets too bad, move somewhere else. I used to preoccupy myself with all the gloom and doom. It's not healthy, and it won't make a damn bit of difference in the end. 'Enjoy the decline.' And yes, military here. They stopped offering pensions to the newcomers, so I really wouldn't recommend signing up anymore. Not worth it without the early retirement.

If you think about it, musicians are the modern day bards. They write songs about their emotions, and then play them with serious looks on their faces, as if playing a song about their emotions is a serious endeavor. Not very masculine at all, really. Hair bands, doubly so.

Most digestive issues related to recommendations for fiber involve constipation. Constipation is usually the result of not getting enough water and/or living a sedentary lifestyle. Eat enough whole foods and you'll get sufficient fiber for your needs. Dairy can present a problem, but that's the penalty for using a food source that we're not optimized for. Dairy is fantastic for growing (cheap), but you do have to watch out for constipation. One of the signals I use for poor diet is excessive/fou…

True, so long as you didn't exceed your metabolic rate, you wouldn't get fat. You wouldn't be healthy though if half your calories came from fruit (sugar). Diabetes would be an eventual concern, I'd imagine. Skinny fat body type, for sure.
/r/TheRedPill04/10/16 10:12 AM

OK. Carbs are an unnecessary food source. They are fast burning macronutrients, and when your body has no present need for all that instant energy, it stores it as fat for later. Fructose (found in fruit) is worse than glucose (majority of carbs are metabolized as glucose, at least initially). It's metabolized in the liver and goes straight to fat. Fruit has vitamins and phytonutrients, sure. But it also has sugar in the form of fructose. In fact, it's pretty much entirely sugar, aside from fibe…

Sexual strategy? OK, how's this? Get fucking rich. Get jacked. Fuck whomever you want because with those two alone, partying is unnecessary and you won't need to dull your girl's senses. The sex will be better, she might stick around longer, and you'll be healthier for it. Alcohol/partying isn't the cure. It's masking the symptoms.

If you can't do it without booze, you're basically lying to yourself. You think you're a social guy, with lots of friends and such, but you need alcohol to enjoy yourself. Try going out without drinking. Is it still enjoyable? If yes, then lose the booze. If no, then consider what that really means...

This behavior is basically seeking the approval of others. Getting wasted really isn't all that fun, objectively, particularly in regard to the negative effects the next day. It's a pleasant fiction, a dulling of the sober reality that life isn't what you'd like it to be. Considering STDs, drunken fights, unplanned pregnancies and all the other possible negative effects of being mentally incapacitated in public (not to mention acting embarrasingly), you could pay a heavy price for that distracti…

Missing out on what, exactly? They have nothing to offer that you cannot find elsewhere. I don't base my happiness on whether or not I am in a relationship. You can choose to, if you wish, but it sounds like you're having to jump through some hoops like 'creating artificial drama' in order to keep them interested. Fuck that noise. Get jacked. Get rich. The truth is most people, in general, are losers. You are trained/wired to seek the top 10%, if not higher. So naturally, everyone else looks pathetic in comparison. I feel the same way. I tell myself that if I lower my expectations, I'll get laid more. But who wants to have sex with someone they aren't attracted to? No thanks. So I've pretty much resigned myself to solely preoccupying my time with increasing my SMV. Lifting more, eating more, earning more. I don't see any other way forwards, wi…

The problem with your argument is you have had the pleasure of living in a world where there are no consequences allowed, and thus are viewing the current system through rose-colored glasses. Sooner or later we'll all get to experiance the collective consequences of governance by emotions. Something tells me you'll end up prefering your proposed negatives of logic.

If you were continuously drowning in pussy from multiple hot women, would it make sense to get married? No, it would not. Marriage is an act out of frustration. We are not wired for it at all. We are conditioned for it.

AI is the solution, not the problem. All the terrible things you list will occur regardless, due to exponential growth within a finite environment. And yet strangely, I don't remember a lot from when I was 20. A few memories, sure. That Hawaii trip was fun, yeah. But the rest... who gives a shit? People who care only about the now usually don't fare very well in life overall. My brother only cared about the now. There is another very important element to this that you should do some deep thinking about. Your desires and ability to enjoy things really goes down with age. In my late 20s and I am already enjoying things SUBSTANTIALLY less than I did in my early 20s. Not even things that I have had a lot of... even completely new and exciting experiences are becoming "meh"ish and overall I am a fairly happy person. I would say you enjoy different things with age. It's easy to write these sort of movements off as orchestrated by some malevolent evil genius or organization. But, like most conspiracy theories, it stretches the imagination to believe that such a secret could be kept, and that such a person or persons would be on this planet long enough to care about the long-term ramifications of their evil plot. Won't seem stupid when your wealthy friends are retiring early. I'm hoping to just stop working at age 44. With current lifespans, it's basically another life without work. Yeah, I won't have enjoyed my youth as much as others. But I think I'll enjoy my mature years better anyways. There is no substitute for experiance.

I'm not sure about that (I didn't downvote you, though). From the inside looking out, we appear to be the greatest place on earth. But I got to tell you, I'm considering becoming an ex-pat when I retire. America isn't all that it used to be, and there are some other really nice places to live in the world, as long as you can get by without a Walmart on every corner.
/r/TheRedPill23/08/16 08:56 PM

Yeah, but short term happiness, as a metric, doesn't usually translate to the best decisions. Super premium cars ARE fun to drive, sure, but if you're going into more debt for it, you're just trading immediate gratification for delayed prosperity. So later on, your old junker may look greener. Unless of course you're independently wealthy, in which case nevermind.

they're slaves of social engineering, the blue pill. women have been raised in fempowerment, they have abundance mentality out the wazoo when they in fact do not have abundance outside of a horde of beta sausage. all it takes is a balancing of the scales and it'll all be fine. /r/TheRedPill21/08/16 10:33 PM

Well now you're talking about higher level issues besides procreation and survival of the fittest. Cockroaches have survived for millenia, and they have no aspirations for space. We're dealing with lower level issues here. A woman (generally) doesn't give a damn about going to space. She wants to comfortably shit out a few kids, and get a man do her dirty work so she can be comfortable into old age.

Bullshit. Marriage is not in a male's best interest. Not all married men are betas. Quite a few alphas, if not all of them, are flawed. Men are not inherently better than women on a rational judgement basis. Women can be more conniving and rational, destroying any man she's through with. Men rarely possess the cold calculation to do the same.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 06:52 PM

Why is the system that way? Who created the laws that allow this to occur? Men did. And why did they do that?
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 06:48 PM

And yet consistently women get the better of men. They manipulate us. How is this possible for someone with 'pervasive cognitive dissonance'? We're all being played. And yeah, they do.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 06:45 PM

Men fall prey to the same logical fallacies that women fall prey to. We are all flawed creatures. To suggest that there is some superior male archetype that can do no wrong is obtuse. Somewhere, somehow that 'man' will fuck up.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 06:30 PM
2

I dispute your assertion that men are more stoic and logical. Time and time again we get taken to the cleaners in divorce. A logical creature would not allow that to happen. Turns out, the one's who typically come out on top are the rational women while the 'feeling' men get divorce-raped. You need to look at things objectively, vs via the narrative that makes you 'feel' good.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 06:26 PM

I was being sarcastic. No, you should not ignore the truth. However, to suggest that women are alone in ignoring the truth is just plain wrong. Honestly the red pill isn't that bitter. It's just reversing the programming we've been taught since day one.

Women appear to act illogically to us. For a similar reason, some people hate cats. Once you figure out that women are actually acting quite logical (their goals are just different than ours), you stop blaming the woman for being a woman. It's the same with cats.

I wouldn't even acknowledge it internally. You're only holding yourself back by doing so. Technically, I probably have ADHD. But I choose to not let myself get diagnosed, and I work hard to not let it impact my life (can't have ADHD and still be a military pilot). There was a time when very few people had named disorders. Now, everybody wants to blame their shortcomings on something that the APA pulled out of their ass.

Whatever. I still wouldn't identify with it. "HI, my name's wiwe97. You should know I have this condition called aspergers syndrome. Basically, I'm autistic. Want to fuck?" Doesn't really work...
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 04:13 PM

Well one suggestion I have is to quit identifying with a made up disorder. Everyone is different. You are in control of who you are. Be who you want to be.

I was raised with cats my entire childhood. Cats get a bad rap (so do women). I almost certainly have toxoplasmosis, but I'm a well-adjusted, successful, confident male. I know one example does not make a trend, but let's not all go setting cats on fire, mmmkay? You want to get good with females? Try earning the love of an aloof cat. Very similar principles at play.

Truth is uncomfortable for most. Better to ignore it. Live in the moment, and all that. Suspension of reality tends to not end well.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 03:18 PM

Yup. You see a lot of it here because sex is the primary motivator for men. If you're sex starved, sex is a priority. It's easier to sell self improvement to those who need it most if there's sex on the end of the stick.

Look, I'm not going to do your goddamn googling for you. You're just lazy. Honestly, you sound like a true neckbeard in high school, trying to be profound. You are not profound.

Don't be a little shit. Doing well in school sets you up for success in life. Do you like fast cars? Hot women? Expensive clothes? It's a lot harder to attain those things when you didn't apply yourself in school and aren't making six figures plus in the real world. Teenage angst is a waste of the only time in life when you aren't required to actually work. Just learn, fella. The dividends are fantastic if you apply yourself.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/16 12:48 PM

This is bullshit. Men hamster just as much as women. Quit trying to be elitist to make yourself feel good about being a man.

Sorry, a 20 year old shouldn't be giving advice on this. As a guy in his mid 30s, I can tell you that you have no idea how much you can accomplish in a short period of time, provided you have sufficient motivation. Oh, and 15% BF is fat. Time to cut.

I think you're confusing sluts with crazy women. Your scenarios are just as likely to happen with a prude rather than a slut. Sluts just like sex. What's wrong with that?

What is life to you then but Nihilism? That is the root question. It is, as it appears to me, ultimately meaningless, from any objective viewpoint. All meaning is created or "borrowed" by the individual during their time here. To suggest otherwise is to hint at some secret that only a select few are able to perceive. My skepticism prevents me from believing the esoteric visions of the few.

Let him have his many offspring. Wtf do we care? Nobody's keeping score with the kids, guy. You don't 'win' on your deathbed with kids. In fact, I can make the argument you lose, realistically, because you had to sacrifice to have them... and you won't see the benefits of continuing most of your DNA.

So dumb. We want to have random sex, but we only want it with women who don't have random sex? Fellas, you can't have it both ways. Well, I suppose you rarely can, but you'll never know for sure what her cock count is. We should be more accepting of sluts. Hot sluts, that is... Just wrap your tool, and accept that you're going to get HPV or HSV (or both).

I'm of the mind that the most effective way forwards is to cut down to 8-9%. You won't like how you look at first. You'll be skinny. But you'll be able to see your progress much better. And me personally, I find low BF people more attractive than the standard American norm of 15-35%. Cut first, and then slow, slow bulk, no more than 2 lbs a month on CLEAN food. 10-20% carbs max, 20% protein, rest healthy fats. Will take you a year, but you'll be a new man at the end of it.

There's nothing wrong with being selfish. Hell, our entire civilization is founded on selfishness (capitalism). We just got too smart for our genes, that's all. This is how the population stays dumb. But fuck it, I won't be around, so enjoy the decline!

Nope. You keep lifting to give your body a reason to not cannibalize your muscle. When in starvation mode (losing weight), the human body saves its fat stores, and instead eats muscle for energy. Give it a reason to keep the muscle around. You'll still lose some muscle, that's unavoidable. But you'll lose a lot less if you keep stressing your muscles under load.

It probably doesn't apply, but for some reason whenever I hear a shitty story like this I think of a 3 legged dog or something. The dog doesn't care. The dog acts like it isn't even a thing. I'd like to think I'd be like that dog.

Nobody cares about who left the inspiration. I don't care about Isaac Newton. I don't care about Albert Einstein. Great guys, sure. They aren't immortal, and neither will you be unless you can help unlock a path forwards where your consciousness survives your built-in expiration date. Reading and travelling and having kids and whatever else won't get you immortality. Quit lying to yourself and fight the real fight.

OK, I play video games as well. I'm confident you're over thinking it. Try a sport (in the real world). I think it helps bring balance to video games, if you're getting to the point where you rage quit when you die, etc. It's just a damn game.

He's cherry picking time frames. Just because a person has success in their lifetime does not imply that same success going forwards. Standard investment advice is biased to recent history. People were saying it was stupid to rent in 2006. Nobody can predict the future. To not hedge against uncertainty IS gambling. Ergo, standard investment advice is advocating gambling.

This is exactly it. We whine and complain about their behavior, but they're just doing what society and their own DNA are telling them to do. Pointless to complain about it while we plot to do the same thing -- to get what we want out of them. Pump and dump. The only difference between us and the rest of the kingdom is we're conscious of the bullshit, whereas the other species don't 'know' any better. Not that most of us 'know' any better either. But the capacity is theoretically there, at least…

Get the shit kicked out of you enough times and you go MGTOW. Most of them would rather pay outright for sex, rather than go through the charade of wooing women with Chad behavior. Probably cheaper in the long run, really.

You're hamstering. Each gender gets something out of the relationship, otherwise there wouldn't be a relationship. That guys do it for sexual gratification does not make us morally superior over women who do it for other reasons. Blue pill? That's hilarious. You're the one lying to yourself to make yourself feel superior.

Ok, I hate to be the Devil's advocate here, but we as men do this ALL THE TIME. Moving on to younger, prettier things, anybody? The difference is we rarely are in the same position where our past fling turns into a rockstar/millionaire. But I'd wager that, were a similar situation to take place (sudden increase in physical beauty anyone?), we'd behave the same way. Like dating a Kardashian in middle school before they're hot and famous... Enough with the moral outrage, already.
