| 3 | A quick rant about Reddit’s views on cold approaches, and a word of encouragementYes, the more I think about this, it's seeming more and more multifaceted. I also feel it's more related to being part of the group/belonging - still a strong evolutionary pull - than about female selction (as you say - the pressures on how to act socially, if you want to remain part of the group) This moment in time is defined by strong narratives of justice, often against perceived threats, and as these kinds of issues are thrashed out without appropriate nuance on social media, diverse situat… | /r/seduction | 05/08/22 04:13 PM |
| 3 | A quick rant about Reddit’s views on cold approaches, and a word of encouragementThis is a really interesting take, and I'm almost on board. But doesn't it assume that all women are hot and getting approached a tonne? From what I can tell, decrying an unknown male approaching an unknown female is spread out pretty evenly amongst supermodels, obese women, attractive women, unattractive women. So if we take this core point: 'By shaming this behavior publicly, it builds an advantage for them in society by filtering out the weak males from approaching, and essentially minimizing… | /r/seduction | 05/08/22 11:18 AM |

| 1 | [deleted by user]I understand everything you're saying and completely agree. Saying the popular thing in order to be liked rather than being honest is what I see a lot of on social media, that is all I was saying. | /r/seduction | 29/07/22 09:20 PM |

| 3 | Just had another ONS and I'm starting to doubt that the lifestyle is for meNever heard that analogy before but it's a surprisingly good one. Becoming good at seduction, then, is clearly the art of picking locks. And I think that's the point op is getting at. He wants to be valued for who he is, rather than for his competence at lock picking. If I remember correctly that was the issue that fucked with mystery in the game - when it's no longer a challenge and you can easily pick any lock, all locks lose their value. | /r/seduction | 29/07/22 06:22 PM |
| 4 | How to approach when she’s hanging out w a group of friends and u r alone? The only reason to avoid embarrassing yourself when you're a solo traveller (and in general, but especially as a solo traveller) is if you are an anxious person who has placed too much emphasis on what other people think about you (who gives a fuck, honestly?) Even if both of the above are true, summoning the courage to approach things that scare you is one of the best ways to overcome them and lessen the fear next time. 9 times out of 10 you realise that it was nowhere near the big deal you wer… | /r/seduction | 24/07/22 01:18 PM |
| 15 | What hobbies have the most women in their 20/early 30s?I'm not trying to generalise all women, but I've known quite a few who I was surprised to learn didn't have any hobbies. And thinking about it now, they spent a lot of their time bitching about other people (mostly their friends), judging people and overanalyzing their behaviours (often finding things to complain about in pretty neutral behaviour) Also shopping. Again, not my experience with all women, but quite a few. You can fill up a lot of your time bitching and moaning if you put in the eff… | /r/seduction | 22/07/22 10:59 AM |
| 1 | Most women don't realize how hard average guys have itI see the point you're making better now. But no I wouldn't say that 'not acting on every biological impulse' was an automatic biological behaviour. It's something we learn and develop over time. It's a social construction rather than a biological imperative. | /r/seduction | 20/07/22 02:23 PM |
| 3 | Most women don't realize how hard average guys have itThat was good. It sounded like you were going to explain why I misunderstand biology, and then...you, didn't. I think your confusion starts with believing that 'A big part of living within a society is recognising that our biology will compel us to do things which hurt others' and 'as a group it's much easier to survive than alone' are contrary, which they very clearly aren't. The reason we are effective in groups is because we don't act on each and every biological impulse. Instead we work toge… | /r/seduction | 20/07/22 11:42 AM |
| 23 | Most women don't realize how hard average guys have itBiology wants us to fight and rape. Never fight biology? | 17 | how do you game very attractive girls in their mid-20s if you're 10+ years older?Being an adult is about taking responsibility for your life and your choices. Following a clichéd approach to what an adult should do is one way to ensure you remain a child (you haven't learned to make your own choices yet, but are only following what you feel you're supposed to do) If you are an adult, whether you unwind from time to time with a movie or a video game is of little concern. | /r/seduction | 19/07/22 05:53 PM |

Can't explain it and I don't need to. In general guys on here have mentioned that Asian girls they've met seem less open or interested in meeting them. So the best approach for you would be to check out general dating advice (most of it is the same regardless of race) but also perhaps to be a bit more forward, since some men may be less likely … | /r/seduction | 12/07/22 11:57 AM |

| 2 | Stats on 40 Cold ApproachesFor sure. I'm talking more generally. I.e if you work with someone and they're not immediately drawn to you based on looks, they might realise as they get to know you that you're everything they've been looking for. | /r/seduction | 06/07/22 01:28 PM |
| 1 | Stats on 40 Cold ApproachesI would only need to change 'value' to 'looks' if women were only attracted to looks and nothing else. They're not. Their initial interest will be based on looks. | 1 | Stats on 40 Cold ApproachesWhat's easy is not to work on the above and to do 100+ half assed approaches. If the girls can sense you don't have any value it doesn't matter if you have 100,000 approaches, you'll keep getting the same results. | /r/seduction | 06/07/22 11:26 AM |

| 1 | So guys are out here killing innocent people because they can’t get laid?Yes I can believe you have significant experience with mental illness, it's on show for all to see. The problem is you don't seem to have the mental faculties to discern what is and is not a mental illness, outside of your own very personal experience with it. Considering you suggested that mass shooters weren't mentally ill because they weren't wiping shit on the walls or seeing things, your point either doesn't stand (because they could be mentally ill and not wiping shit on the walls) or it d… | /r/seduction | 05/07/22 06:32 PM |
| 1 | So guys are out here killing innocent people because they can’t get laid? The amount of silliness on show here is quite impressive. Mental illness is a far wider definition than 'seeing things that aren't there' and 'smearing shit'. An eating disorder, for example, is a mental illness. So is an anxiety disorder. 'They're just fucked up' - that doesn't mean anything at all. 'Can't just classify all irregular behaviour as crazy' - no one is doing that, and 'crazy' is a judgement completely separate to the diagnosis of a mental illness. The reason you're getting tired of… | /r/seduction | 05/07/22 04:04 PM |

| 2 | [deleted by user]It's not that simple. A lot of women are attracted to toxic men whether they are handsome or not, and attraction is often strongly related to confidence/attitude/success as well. A guy who is a 5-6 in looks but who is confident and toxic/manipulative will often do just as well as a socially awkward 7-8 guy with low self esteem. | /r/seduction | 25/06/22 12:05 PM |
| 11 | As a black woman how can I be more attractive to men in everyday settings?Your responses sound blunt and defensive. If this is representative of your personality, that could be why you're not being approached as much as you would like. But to generalise white women you're talking about half a billion people spread across different cultures across the globe. So it's just not a sensible generalisation in a wider sense. | 1 | [deleted by user]Telling it like it is based on our real life experiences is often precisely what leads people to become racist or sexist, whether against men or women, minorities or majorities. Choosing not to group millions of people into a stereotype based on their gender and skin colour is not sugar coating anything, it's simply recognising that to do so will always be wrong. And I don't mean morally wrong, I mean factually incorrect. It can never be true. | /r/seduction | 21/06/22 09:24 PM |

For he is both the marble and the sculptor. In order to uncover his true visage he must shatter his own substance with heavy blows of his hammer' Improving yourself isn't easy because it hurts. | 1 | Are we as men working too hard to get women?I don't know why you're so opinionated on this because you clearly have very little knowledge or experience in this area. All you are pushing is the status quo perception people have that their emotions just happen in response to other things that happen, and that we have either no control or only a tiny bit of control over this. Which is what most people believe because that's how it feels. | 1 | Are we as men working too hard to get women? You're not offering anything of substance here. Things which are linked can be unlinked. Many modalities offer the means to do this, stoicism, CBT, counselling techniques that can be practiced with or without a therapist, various forms of meditation, various writing techniques. | 2 | Are we as men working too hard to get women?Don't listen to these chumps. They're claiming some kind of wisdom because they're older but in no way are they emotionally mature. As you grow older you have a choice about whether or not getting laid is going to affect your mental health. Most people think their emotions are caused by what happens to them. This is 100% wrong. | 2 | Are we as men working too hard to get women? This is mistaken. The more secure you become in yourself the less your mental health is determined by whether or not you're hooking up every week. Whether or not someone has showed you affirmation lately. Whether or not things are going your way. You're essentially saying that you have no control over your own thoughts and feelings, your own inner state. This matches the emotional maturity of a child. | 2 | Getting pussy requires hard work! How hard are you working??But you're clearly misunderstanding vthe depth of the problem. Someone who has been abused as a child for example, and is introverted, anxious and scared of intimacy as a result, doesn't only have an irrational belief. How hard are you working??Every point you make here is invalidated by the fact millions of men and women do have trouble meeting and hooking up with men and women. If you want to call them retarded you're free to, but many men and women suffer from low self worth, anxiety and simply a lack of experience which make walking up to someone they're attracted to and talking in a way which builds attraction far more difficult than you're suggesting here. | 6 | It's crazy how important social circle and status isYes it is a good point of debate because it is not straightforward. Everything you say is correct. But there is a baseline worthiness you feel before you are given the signs of status relevant to your current life. All of what you are saying is based on beliefs that you have developed which come from your experience as a baby, a child and the society within which you live. Each one of those beliefs can be examined, and if necessary, discarded. When the belief which is reponsible for the feeling … | /r/seduction | 08/09/21 01:55 PM |
| 3 | It's crazy how important social circle and status isI agree with a lot of what you're saying here but I also think you're making a mistake. Women care more about the signals you give off about your level of status, than they do about the factual information about what you job is, how many friends you have or where you live. They will be far more confident in you have high status if you are confident, can think for your self, are relaxed, non-needy than if you happen to have a high-paying job. But again i'd question what is the 'income' you receive from OLD? Is it actually more efficient at providing what you really want deep down? Or does it pay you in counterfeit money? I could imagine trying to form a deep connection on a first date coming across as needy (it doesn't have to, but it definitely could) I'd imagine that holding back more, leaving a bit of mystery, holding back from deciding you're even interested (considering all the other option syou obviously have) could build the kind of feelings of value which would make a girl feel deeper. | /r/seduction | 08/08/21 01:00 AM |

But not if you're thinking about it collectively. I love the idea that when I get nervous around a girl I like on some level that's some evolutionary mechanism… | /r/seduction | 13/12/20 01:33 AM |
| 19 | Pivotal Reminder: You're Taking Her Too SeriouslyExactly. The truth is you could make a girl crazy about you reading her a phone book so long as you had the right eye contact and body language. Similarly, in my experience, what she sees (your physical appearance) will combine with what she feels (your self worth, perceived social position, masculinity, energy etc) and in my experience the latter is the dominant factor. The last 10 years I've looked pretty similar, give or take, and throughout that time I've had phases where I was somewhat alph… | /r/seduction | 12/12/20 09:12 PM |

I decided to write a program to analyze our text and using hard data to show him wrongThis reminds me of when I, a philosophy student, broke up with my girlfriend, a philosophy student. | 1 | Sorry about the formatting. My top 5 tips on how to build your social circle.I was being somewhat tongue in cheek, but let's be honest while it contains some reasonably minded people, Twitter is home to an appalling level of tribalism, hate and indoctrinated thinking. Putting a picture of yourself up on social media and sharing all your opinions with the world is also a surefire way to inflate your ego, wind up chasing upvotes, and getting into petty arguments (all possible here too of course, but to a lesser extent in my experience) I'm not saying the strategy isn't eff… | /r/seduction | 20/11/20 09:54 PM |

I feel immense self-hate and need someone to talk to.Yeah but that's a pretty huge boundary for a lot of guys, and there are different ways of approaching things which can take you out of your head or make you feel less awkward or which simply force you into situations you'd avoid otherwise. The wisdom in this sub often gravitates around working on yourself as this will make you more comfortable being yourself and showing intent, rather than the 'Top 5 chat up lines to get you laid' type bullshit. | /r/seduction | 05/11/20 05:10 PM |

| 2 | Made a summary of “The Way of The Superior Man” by David Deida. Hope it’s useful. It's a year or two since I read the book, but aren't these just a few of the many (50 or so?) points made in the book? What I remember more than anything is the way he talks about the masculine and feminine which you haven't touched on much here. Also quite a few typos 'Deidre', 'in owe of his masculinity' etc. I wouldn't agree with the 'worst summary ever' comment, but it doesn't feel like a summary of the book as much as it feels like a discussion of a few of the talking points from the book. | /r/seduction | 16/09/20 03:55 PM |

| 1 | Younger womenYeah I totally see that, I don't really think I'd be into it either, only really been interested in girls I've met that were early to mid 20s. I got to know a girl who was 19 through work and she was awesome, really cool girl and definite chemistry there but I didn't persue it because it felt weird. Guess I've been trying to work out whether that weirdness was coming from me or from a fear of being perceived as creepy/doing something 'wrong'. I don't know. | /r/seduction | 06/09/20 08:35 PM |

| 3 | Is this just part of the process of learning how to talk to girls? Very disappointed in myself.Social anxiety can happen for a lot of different reasons. Exposure can definitely help in a lot of cases, meditation could help a lot too, even exercise/diet can play a part, and journalling and writing how you feel so you can make a bit more sense of it. It sounds like you'll benefit from working on your inner game more than anything. | 7 | Guys I fucking did it.Yeah but if you build genuine self confidence and self respect you are more likely to act in a more confident and less needy way. And this would cause someone to behave more in the way OP has. Someone can act like a pua because they are needy and they're trying not to act needy so they follow all the 'rules' of how to talk to a woman, but it doesn't mean this is what OP is doing. It may be that this is coming more naturally to him now. | /r/seduction | 03/09/20 08:34 PM |
| 2 | Is randomly approaching girls something a lot of guys do or is it not that common?I would never say women shouldn't be careful! I have a problem with your generalisation of men. I am not 'men'. Women can be careful, of course, but if you describe any interaction between a man and a woman as the guy will be seen as creepy if he's flirting and has not been invited to do so, i will call this out as being wrong. | 1 | Is randomly approaching girls something a lot of guys do or is it not that common?I've been calling out sexism my whole life. Funny how it used to be men I was calling out, but these days it is 90% coming from women. There are some very toxic social narratives going around at the moment and also unfortunately there seem to be a lot of very impressionable people around too. | /r/seduction | 03/09/20 05:11 PM |
| 2 | Is randomly approaching girls something a lot of guys do or is it not that common?Of course I would believe that, but the fact that some men behave this way has nothing to do with me. Again, if you were in a car accident due to a bad driver you would have no right to say 'people can't drive, we need to educate people so they can drive better'. You'd be unreasonably extrapolating a singular experience to impose rules on people that have nothing to do with that one experience. The actions of a few men do not explain the actions of 'men'. | 2 | Is randomly approaching girls something a lot of guys do or is it not that common?Yeah I definitely think the type of interaction is an important distinction. But even flirting is a broad area, any overbearing flirtation could seem creepy or even threatening, and I'm sure girls get more than enough of this unwanted attention, but a subtle show of interest or strong eye contact doesn't need to be and a confident non-needy guy expressing himself authentically with respect for the woman's boundaries or awareness of her level of engagement will often come off as anything but cree… | /r/seduction | 03/09/20 12:02 PM |
| 2 | Is randomly approaching girls something a lot of guys do or is it not that common? There is nothing creepy about talking to another human being. If a girl started talking to me, and I hadn't invited her to do so, I wouldn't have a problem with that. If a toxic girl started talking to me, however, I would definitely have a problem with that, and I would also find it creepy. Why should it be any different the other way around? | 1 | How do I "hit it off" with someone I have nothing in common with? You don't need to know about something to find it interesting. Part of what can be interesting about getting to know someone is getting a glimpse into a world you hadn't really thought about. What interests you? You could ask the girl questions related to a topic you have knowledge on i.e if you're mad for skiing you could ask if she's ever tried, if she'd ever want to, then discuss what you find interesting/exciting about it, what yiu'd want to do in the future. | 1 | My opinion on Tay Socials "tinder bio hack 2.0"productI've heard (on here I think as I don't use it myself) that the algorithms on Tinder give you a lot of attention at first to get you hooked, but then they pull back and you'll find you're not getting half as many matches (to get you to sign up to premium, apparently) So: Engage your A game right now and make the most of these matches! | 1 | [deleted by user]This is exactly what it's all about - nuance. People are nuanced, all men don't fit into one box, so to believe they do is incorrect. Sometimes that illusion is beneficial for survival (and evolution has found many ways for us to delude ourselves in the name of survival) but to announce it as being true is a mistake. But to judge people who do not treat them badly as being the same simply because they were born with a penis is wrong (i.e incorrect) My dad got knifed by three black men many years ago and as a direct result of this became very racist. | 5 | [deleted by user]Completely agree. Breastfeeding is natural too but I grew out of that. It's the same when men have stereotypes about women or, as I was saying, any judgement we make about a person based on our experience with someone else who happens to share the same gender/race/haircut. Forget for a moment about it being wrong in a moral sense, it's simply incorrect. It's an illusion, and we can do better. | /r/seduction | 10/08/20 07:23 PM |

Only Attach your-self to your mission in life and your PURPOSE. That’s how you keep your power and keep your peace!I think the first step is to find your behavioural patterns which are rooted only in pleasing others, or a fear of what others think of you. A surprising amount of our action can be based on this. If we neutralise some of these behavioural patterns, which are based only on attaining affirmation, what we authentically feel will become clearer, and along with this will come a far clearer understanding of our purpose. | /r/seduction | 17/07/20 11:00 AM |

It's true that all of us, women and men, aren't very good at knowing what we want in general. Quite a few studies have been done which show what the heart wants and what the mind wants are often two very different things, and sometimes entirely opposed. Now that I've changed my life style and body how can I fix my inability to approach womenIf I was a dick, I'd say the best trick to approaching a woman is to approach a woman. But there's a lot of truth in it too, because the best way to get good at something is practice. A pianist will only be comfortable and at ease performing a piece when they have played it hundreds of times, because then they don't think about it, it just happens. And this process only begins when you're sat behind a piano. It's important to learn what tune you're going to play though, and I'll leave that advic… | /r/seduction | 18/06/20 08:02 PM |
| 4 | I(22F) can banter and chat with guys I don’t like but not with a crushRight now, you are probably thinking. And these thoughts will almost always be weighted with a positive or a negative. Identity and thought are inherently connected. Identity is a combination of thoughts about the world and about yourself which orient you and tell you… | /r/seduction | 16/06/20 02:25 PM |

| 2 | How important is hair?Yes this is spot on, and something I've thought about quite a bit. Been working on my inner game for years, counselling and meditation has given me a good insight into my inner world, and I've definitely got a lot more love for myself and my imperfections than I did in my twenties. But not caring about how I look is definitely still very difficult, and there's still a big part of me which cares far too much what other people think. So I agree that just shaving my head and working on my inner gam… | /r/seduction | 13/06/20 12:49 PM |
| 1 | How important is hair?I completely agree with this. But I guess then you'd say confident me with hair would probably get more success than confident me without hair?
