The feminist world is desolate. The rent a boyfriend thread a couple of weeks back was hard to watch, and this marrying yourself nonsense is just so kitschy and misguided. But is this so unexpected in our Selfie World? If ever there was a reason to believe that women are less intelligent than men, socially, women are severely lacking intelligence if these are the ideas they come up with to achieve "happiness" as a non patriarchal society. Pretty princess parties and renting a mate; right, that w…

OP I understand that she stresses you out but you need to tough it out for your boyfriend or he will feel like you're giving up hope on the relationship. Parents can be very embarrassing and we might feel like they misrepresent us, but we have no control over how they act. Can't you spend time together away from the home? Praise him in front of her. It could be anything, his appearance or intellect, or his talent for driving/dressing/playing an instrument etc, anything to boost his self esteem, …

I'm quite surprised by your response. In life, shit is going to happen. Would you bail on your SO the moment life gets hard? I hope you never take vows "in sickness and in health".

I'm not sure what the question is but I disagree that you should leave him when he needs you. When people are perpetually sick they get depressed so of course he's going to say he's holding you back. But that you would actually leave and not help him through his illness is wrong. Are people who've become disabled in some way not supposed to have relationships?

haha yeah it's tough. It's exacerbated because my style of driving is more cruising rather than accelerating and decelerating (which is actually a better way to drive, but who's counting?)

Everyone has given you great RP-centric advice. It's good that you're humble but don't psych yourself out idealizing this guy; he has his own faults and insecurities too, but he sounds good for you! Get out of your comfy spot and take a chance with him. :)

Just because you've witnessed it doesn't mean it will always play out how you described. We're both throwing out solutions. I'm not discounting that yours might be better in practice, but in theory, mine makes sense to me. We can't know what worked unless OP fills us in on how she handles it. No, fortunately I've never been in that situation. You have a good day, too.

lol how do you know what I'm aware of? When I offer advice, I run it through my head. Him being flustered by her but also being a gentleman assumes that he would gladly be receptive to his wife's advances, probably relieved to get away from the Floozy. It's like when you are roped into a conversation with an annoying family member, are you not thankful and receptive if a sibling comes to bail you out? I don't know why you would think otherwise? The husband ignoring her and walking over to his wi…

Obviously he would reciprocate his wife's advances. Be it a slight raising of the eyebrows or a smirk or a stifled grin before he walks away. Sorry I didn't spell out basic human reactions, Jackie Collin's style. To clarify: if he had any resistance to his wife's advance, that would blow up in her face -not a pretty scene for him later on. As far as competition goes, I can admit I don't understand women that compete for the affections of a taken man. For myself, I get instant blinders. However, …

He refused her advances prior, he's polite but short with her. How is that indecisive and weak? He's actions have been steady as far as I can tell. What would you suggest he do? Lastly, him getting sexed by his wife each time she acts like a floozy will only cause her to flirt with him more. It's called social proof. Seeing a man she's flirting with having sex with another women will stoke her desire to continue flirting. He already has social proof; he's happily MARRIED. You're viewing this lik…

Thanks. I vacillated between that and ignoring her, because I know leading him isn't RPW. But OP used the word 'flustered', so that cemented my choice to help him out. Yes, integrity is sexy. :) Kinda cool to wake up and see all the karma.

Time spent around her should be brief and only when absolutely necessary. Your husband is a gentleman; it's endearing that he gets flustered because he obviously doesn't want to upset you. Have fun with this and reward your husband's integrity. Let her chat him up for a couple of minutes and think she's getting somewhere. Come around, greet her with a warm smile, whisper something sexual in his ear, and lead him away. Once it clicks that he'll potentially get sexed by his wife each time she acts…

So, introverted Alpha? I dunno, to me that's more appealing. Maybe because I'm a bit of a contrarian myself; if a man doesn't feel like he has to take charge even if capable, that tells me he's more understated, more IDGAFFFFF.

If it makes the person feel good about themselves I'm all for it. The more natural looking it is, the better. In regards to lip fillers, I too have uneven lips and would prefer the top to be slightly bigger. However, when I see fillers on celebrities, it's noticeable. I'm not sure if it happens over time, that they feel like they have to go bigger and bigger ( Kim K looks weird now), or if the filler itself goes haywire after some time. I can always spot fillers on people, it always has too much…

This trifecta is so thorough I have no critiques! "Do you want to get married any time soon? Are you the marrying type?" is rather direct and blunt, therefore potentially off-putting. Funny, because I saw a relationship Ted Talk where the speaker (a lesbian) advised to say this very line! She was very direct.

ehhh.. Well this is really something you have to agree on. A bob isn't short short, and there are ways to put it back. However, you can change it up? Maybe have it short in the winter time and long in the summer? There are also hairstyles in which it's longer in the back with short layers in front. But if the reason is strictly laziness... My other advice is to limit your child's TV time and get him on a schedule, kids thrive in routine. It will be easier on you too to maintain a cleaning schedule. Kids should not be at their parents side all day, that creates dependent, clingy, whiney, kids. Childproof your house, put on some decent music (not teletubbie crap), and let him play independently for a bit. While I don't think your husband's language is helpful, he is acting out of stress and seems to be in work mode 24/7, hence the m…

I want to learn how to do these things while not ignorin my son and incorporating him At 8-9 months he won't be ready to do much, but in just a few months he will. Kids get a sense of pride when helping adults around the house. When I nannied, I had an 16 month old helping me unload the dishwasher. I gave her a dish towel, which she placed on the floor, I quickly got all the knives out and left her the spoons to dry and put away. Change comes in time. Yes, cancel. You're jumping the gun again. Mom and Dad fun nights are going to happen when both you and he are looking forward to it, not when you hastily make plans expecting a quick fix. Cancel plans without any moodiness, be neutral; get some takeout for your family and make it a family night. :)

Lots of work to be done. Your thread reeked of passive aggression, no one wants to be around a victim. I'm betting there is a lot of long standing feelings/resentment from both of you. Be proactive. Well it sounds like you need to be more proactive with family plans, you also need to communicate with your husband. Kids need to spend time with their father. You two need adult time regularly, to rekindle. If that means a babysitter once every couple of weeks for a date night, what's the harm in that? If you go on like this without communicating, you'll grow to resent him and possibly, the kids.

Antiperspirants are linked to cancer, it's the aluminum in them. That's why people try to look for alternatives, I haven't found anything as effective though. I am reading lots of passive aggression in your thread. The weekend is for enjoying yourself, he's likely been working all week, don't you think it's healthy for him to blow off steam? You said your man is going to get to work when he gets home, I don't understand why it bothered you for him to have some play time. Caring for him means taking these things into account-balance. This post is an example of using RPW for ill purposes. I doubt you care for him as much as you say. I agree with /u/divaexmachina , you want him now because he’s taken. You’re not dedicated enough to be in a relationship with a man who wanted to commit to you if you were willing to mosey about while he had a ‘rebound’. A woman who was truly in love wouldn’t let that happen, and wouldn’t let it go on as long as you did. Look at this from his current girlfriend’s point of view; relationships are a…

I'll try to help you out with assertiveness by looking at it in a softer light. 1A- Have you ever taken an art or writing class, and the professor tells you to write/draw anything you'd like? For many people, that takes the fun out of it. It's easier to have confines, a bit of input can make a choice easier. Similarly, even though you can eat whatever, give him some structure, like: "Something spicy and comforting", then your SO will be more inspired to make a decision. Also, he'd like to please…

a man who gives his girlfriend good reason to feel jealous and cannot help her to overcome it is not a good match. A man or woman who intentionally makes their SO jealous is giving their own comfort test- "Will I get a reaction out of you if I flirt with XXXX?" It shows that they aren't secure in the relationship if they have to make their SO jealous. This can cause a tumultuous pattern where both the man and woman don't trust each other.

I've read of accounts where men who express their upswing with money have to let their wives keep their credit cards; that seems manageable. Since your pattern was women, how do you stop yourself from cheating on your current SO when on an upswing? Or is she accepting of your nature and allows a pass?
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/16 09:01 PM
1

You're talking to her like he already had a kid, and she should open her heart. The fact is he cheated less than a year into the relationship, he probably has been cheating all along. She should "delete her comments" because it reflects badly on her? Are you serious? His cheating isn't factored into your advice at all; water under the bridge, right? This is all male centric. You shouldn't be offering advice here.
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/16 08:30 PM

And guess what? When the depressed people cheat, it's because of depression. And when the anxious people cheat it's because of the anxiety. And when beta nice guys cheat, it's because he was so nice to you and you didn't care, etc. Come now. Manics are highly more susceptible to infidelity than depressives. You even described it: "i might as well be in my own mind a god, and I want to see how much of one I am. For me that expresses with women and drinking." I've read similar stuff.

Again, from the little I've read, BPD folks aren't aware when they are out of control, so he might not feel the need for meds. I understand you love him, and I don't want you to think that just because he has mental illness that I think you should give up on him. However, this isn't going to look like a traditional RP relationship, YOU will be driving the ship for long stretches when he is unable or unwilling. I would be more wary of trusting him when he's on an upswing, to be honest.

Think about your favorite memories you've had with a friend. Were they in a bad mood? Or a joy to be around? That's your answer. People are going to be attracted to those who bring them joy. I'm like that. Is it a concentration technique? Many times in casual conversation I look up or to the side when speaking, then as I come to the end, I return to their face. True. I am also guilty of associating it with negativity, but it's not always. Unfortunately, we don't remember the good manipulations, only the bad. Why? Because the good manipulation is just regarded as being a 'nice' person, or a pleasant time, and that's why it's successful! The bad kind... ugh... that's what causes baggage, therapy, paranoia, and so many more undesirable BS that people have to deal with, for life! I always enjoy your points of view. Yes, you are right about manipulation, its a way of conducting yourself so you reap a desired result. We all do it, and there is a "good" version in which both parties benefit. I might even call that a form of instinct.

I like this post, Sadie. Very heartfelt. If we were as stringent about accepting users as some of the posters would like us to be, I know many of us wouldn't be here. Probably all the mods and EC's wouldn't be here. I'd also like to add because this hasn't come up, that I really like that the new RPW Endorsed Contributors still post for help and ask questions. We are all a work in progress. Just because we have pretty flair doesn't mean we have all the answers! I know I sometimes stumble, and qu…

The least I've waited was the third date, we had exchanged 1000+ texts a month prior to our first date. I guess you can say, texting built attraction. ¯_(ツ)_/¯. PSA: To be perfectly clear, I would NOT recommend guys text that much, mine had special circumstances. It's better to meet ASAP, texting game is risky and passive. Also, it would be really awkward if you didn't like each other IRL !

I know you're pro-marriage, Sadie. :) Yes, he can write her into his will, but aren't wills commonly negated in court? Especially if she has to contend with a bitch of a lawful ex-wife and her kids? Also, even if money is granted to the child NOT her, I would assume the child is SOL until they turn 16-legal adult age in UK. Would she be getting any child support until then? Alimony? They might not be intentionally shaming her but it does seem that their arguments are not completely logical. Edit…

So in the UK, common law marriage starts at 2 years. That's not such a long time. However, this puts her in a bad situation if something significant happens before CLM takes effect. What if he gets into an accident and is incapacitated? What if he died? Is this not potentially jeopardizing her and their child? Furthermore, this would be a worse deal for a woman in the States where it might take 7 years for CLM to take effect. Interesting that some posters are shaming OP for a feelz "dream party"…

In summertime I wear less makeup. Partly because I have tanner skin, also because it's too freaking hot to be wearing a lot of products. So for my minimal makeup routine in the summer I mix sunscreen with my CC cream, then It Cosmetics Tightline Mascara. I love this mascara because it has a subtle eyeliner effect. A bit of shadow at the lashline-maybe plum, or green. I finish it off with some powder, touch of blush, and a stain of lipstick. I don't look like a different person without makeup , j…

he never kissed me, and also he seemed obsessed with me. He would text me constantly with kisses psssh.. you got plenty of kisses! xxx This guy's got a lot of gusto! This one's a toughie. On one hand you don't want to waste his time if you're feeling dread. On the other, maybe he's cooled off since you rejected him before. Have you told him he comes on a bit too strong? give him trust he needs to make it work, and in return, he should be understanding of how you feel and actually seek ways to build trust back. We disagree here. I don't believe you can give someone trust, she can only backoff, then let time take it's course. She distrusts him for numerous valid reasons and from here on out it's pergutory, not trust. I would be uncomfortable demanding this. This would be too disciplinarian for my tastes. Trust doesn't come by creating a tighter leash, that's a false sense of calm because he will do what he wants anyway, just be sneakier about it. However, if he offered all of his passwords, that would be a one way to start restablishing trust again. That's if he hasn't given up already.

General tips for looking good the day of (after a trans-atlantic flight)? Those can be rough. The key is sleeping aides: pillow, mask, blanket, pills. Do your hair nicely but wear zero makeup on the plane, use that time to moisturize your face. Drink plenty of water. Last hour of the flight, wash your face and apply makeup and perfume, baby wipes for other 'bits', deodorant; now you're freshened up. The ladies gave great tips. I always saved leftovers from the night before. He'd much rather have last nights porkchops, mashed pots, and veg, instead of a sandwich. You microwave it then put it in a hot bag and it stays nice and warm. When I did make a sandwich (if there wasn't leftovers from night before) it was probably a philly cheese. Super easy. This is a perfect example of what I mean by that. You were able to completely recognize what was happening here and why he had those women around him. It's not that you aren't attracted to him, because you admitted yourself that he was tall and cute, but being self-aware made it easier to keep on with what you were there to do instead of getting side-tracked. Case in point: The first time I went to a cocktail Meetup, I walked in and saw this tall, cute guy with FIVE women around him, looking up at him, eagerly. OP you shouldn't have gone on his FB, but since you did, you have to deal with the result. You can let it go like Runway said, maybe one of his friends has a personal matter that your bf can't talk about. It's up to you whether you think you really can let this go. Personally, I wouldn't break up yet until you have a clearer picture. I would ask your boyfriend how his night went.

The fact that he lied to OP when she's made it clear that she is ok with him going out with his friends tells me he's doing something dodgy. Women are always complaining that more"real" girls should be featured in media, then when it happens, women slag them off. If she was overweight, i bet women would say she's beautiful. Aside from the commercial, women do this constantly to other women IRL. It's nuts. I don't know why that is. Insecurity probably. The role of a SO should wear many hats for a richer, multifaceted bond. Caring for him like a mother would is something that he will keep in his psyche. My idea of thin is when your clothes fit properly and are fit around a frame that is not too soft. Whenever I hear a woman say "I can't find pants that fit", it's never said by a thin woman. It's like trying to secure a pair of jeans on a loaf of Wonderbread; too much padding makes it impossible for clothing to fit as intended.

Yep, men want a pretty wife. Preferably a pretty wife who's got some sense. I think that a woman possessing a degree isn't necessarily attractive to a man, but her ability to take an interest and roughly follow a topic makes her attractive. It's very feminine when you think about it- it's accommodating her mate mentally. For women, it's masculine (aka: turn on) when a man can dominate a topic, so a degree or higher education is beneficial. Look how I turned this to sex! shaking head shamefully

Women are naturally submissive, emotional, and seek validation for their looks. This all takes an ugly turn when they seek emotional validation from their friends (peer pressure), and physical validation from men. Social media makes them total sheep. How long until you started to see a change? Any changes in the kids to their dad? You don't have to answer the questions, I'm just nosy :) The techniques here would also nurture strong, confident kids (laying back, letting them figure it out, no helicopter parenting).

I like this. I recognize in myself that I am assertive in most cases, or passive until assertive. I can also be "funny" passive aggressive, to keep things light. On another note, the devil is in the details. The wardrobe example for instance, if I was delegated to take care of the kids school needs, I wouldn't think to ask about the wardrobe -since it's a school need. That would fall under "things that bother him/are unnecessary" in my mind. Though, I would expect that wouldn't cause a stir sinc…

I stumbled upon RPW and was drawn to it after realizing I have been a practicing RPW my entire life, and doing what a successful RPW does without really knowing it. I am still learning the ropes and not an expert by any means, but I'm here because I do believe this type of lifestyle can have a significant positive impact on a relationship. So, you're a natural! There aren't many hard rules to RPW, we encourage our members to share how they RPW. We'll probably learn alot from you. :)

I don't want to be bubbly and silly because I'm worried about not being taken seriously or not being seen as professional. I feel like it's killing my femininity. Other than dressing nicely, I have no feminine charms in my arsenal to potentially find a spouse at work. Maybe bubbly and silly isn't congruent to a workplace, but you can be friendly and cheerful. If you're sourfaced and serious all day, then yeah, you will become rigid! I work in a 'conservative' atmosphere but people are still peop…

Hi there, welcome :) I'm glad you sought advice in RPW. Being RP aware will make you more desirable to men. Hopefully you will do a bit more lurking and internalize what we discuss until it's second nature. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin at 18, it's pretty normal in fact. It might seem like everyone around you is sexually active, but trust me, the virgins are the quiet ones, you're hearing all the 'noise'. I'm sorry you had a rough time in HS. he sometimes has trouble holding frame, not with me, but with his family. This is an issue i'm not sure how to address. Family can get the best of anyone. It's important for him to know you have his back. He might need to vent to you, or ask for your input. Or he may just need to cool off alone. Be accommodating and don't take it personally. Family gets under everyone's skin.

I don’t think people change that much. When I think of family members, the LTRs I’ve had, my best friend, I feel that overall they are the same person from the beginning. I feel like I’m the wiser, more experienced version of my 17 year old self. I've had the same best friend since preschool; we keep in contact through Hangouts. When we talk it’s like the same dynamic comes out as in middle school- we have the same chemistry. I will hold on tight to a person that I fall hard for. Even when the h…

I'm going to hang a bit on your "be delicate", as that sounds pretentious. You should be who you are, not a version of a feminine flower you think you should be. If I told a guy to "be hard", that would be just as pretentious, unless he truly is that. Being sweet is simply having a pleasant demeanor. Not trash talking, not being negative, not nagging. Pay compliments when you like something. Be generous with positive words- but they should be genuine; commend someone because you really feel it, …

Since you're a makeup newb I'd like to recommend a primer/concealer http://www.itcosmetics.com/your-skin-but-bettertm-cc-cream-with-spf-50 it's not heavy and it evens out the skin beautifully. I don't have a lot of discoloration so I wear less than a pea sized blob, I cut it 1/3 with moisturizer. But if you need more coverage, this will do the job! It's a bit pricey but lasts a long time, and it's your face, you should invest in it :) I suggest getting a trial sized tube from ebay to try it out.…

I think you just need to slow down and take it as it comes. Many women once they have a child want to be a SAHM. You can have an ambitious career and kids if you are ok with them being cared for by a nanny instead of yourself, that's becoming the norm- essentially you are opting to care for strangers instead of your kids. Personally, I think it's best for everyone if momma is homebase; it creates a more stable environment for the kids to thrive.

For the record, I think this is a bogus thread. That being said, your advice is garbage and the bluest of all. She mentioned nothing about a weak support system or lack of funds, quit adding lines that aren't there. Yes, being RP is about having a complete family unit; we do not advocate mothers becoming single parents IF THEY CAN HELP IT. This was not the case. You're reasoning from a 17 year old male "yuck single mom.. no wai!, saggy boobz!" Instead of the more adult and honorable stance which…

You made out with a guy you just met? - Big no no. He seems like a natural alpha, and even mentioned that he has had many opportunities to hook up with other girls but chose not to. Masked bragging+masked humility+dread= Douche. I guess we have different views on alpha. I'm afraid he'll lose interest if I delay having sex with him. I think I can still be charming and feminine without playing hard-to-get, but I don't know what the best move is. What do you want out of this? You insist you can win…

Every Red Pill Woman should know that starting as a plate, hoping it will lead to LTR status, is a bad sexual strategy toward obtaining long-term commitment. Indeed. Terrible gamble. Stop putting so much of your money into things [purses, shoes, make up] and start putting it into a savings account, a 401k or an IRA. I wish all young people had sense to do this. Parents commonly lack teaching the importance of delayed gratification.

To answer my own question...I was one of those kids that grew up with a no-hobby mom. If he's coming over to your place, greet him with a big smile, wear something sexy, have his favorite meal/drink ready, have lots of ice packs/hot packs, offer massages. Let him relax and do what he'd like to unwind (tv, gaming, sleep w/e). Discuss it as much or as little as he'd like to. Be accommodating and cheerful, pretty simple!

Another popular example of keeping score/covert contract: showing affection when you are given gifts. That's not to say you shouldn't be appreciative and affectionate if given something special, but women should always be loving. And yes, I'm talking about sex, especially.

My usual mindset is that I would do anything for him (more "proving I'm wife material" behavior) but unfortunately my actual attitude behind those motions has become a bit resentful- I feel like I sort of set a very good precedent in the beginning, but now he will expect sort of wifely obedience from me, and I will resent that because I feel like he doesn't really give me the same security that a husband would. This sets a good theme for my reply to your post. You are feeling resentful, and are …

It sounds like you have great coloring for blond hair! Hair is a total no brainer, it grows out. Here's a cheat: if you were blond when you were younger, bring a photo of you as a child to a stylist to match the shade. Mother nature doesn't make mistakes. He was honest and said he likes to text girls he's met before me and ex gf's while he masturbates (40 different women in total). I live in sundresses and sandals in the summertime. Or skirts with tank tops. That dress you linked is formal. I can tell because it's a woven and polyester. For casual summer dresses you want to look for natural fabrics (rayon, cotton- and a bit of spandex will help) in a knit, not a woven. What's a knit? A fabric that feels like a Tshirt (comfy), not like a men's dress shirt. You'll love wearing dresses if they are comfy :)

Hey Wham. If you love your curls, keep them. Straightening will only last so long before your roots start to grow in, then you're left with wavy roots and straight ends. I think curly hair looks great when accompanied by a straightish side bang. That might be all the sleekness you need to attract more attention. I would definitely go for the highlights, curly hair has so much more dimension when highlighted, damage will be minimal.

I think /u/baked_him_cake is spot on with her advice. It's natural for women to have the relationship talk within the first few weeks, he should expect it. You're fretting about being pushy, but, after 4 months of dating (and a long holiday), you risk appearing nonchalant if you don't address it.

I think people who don't desire a red-ish relationship are unknowingly turning their back on harmony. I did not grow up in a red pill home because my father didn't live with me. Yes! I tried to reason myself into a lasting relationship with a great guy that I wasn't wild about. It doesn't work. Attraction wanes naturally, so give yourself a fighting chance. I appreciate the time spent on this clever read and find it helpful. If only all young women could read this. Women would enter relationships in which they were wild about their men, and hook up culture would vanish. I do have a bone to pick with #5 though. Giiiirrrrll...! No wonder you are unable to have a meaningful relationship if you consider any man that's not guy #1 a downgrade! I can't remember exactly where, but I read on TRP (or a linked site) that women are theoretically only able to pair bond with one man at a time. And that's great if you are in a relationship where the attraction is mutual, but in your case... Yikes. You've given him plenty of time to make a move, he's reciprocated by avoiding you. You are orbiting #1. He's known you for years and remains commitment phobic, what does that say? He is avoident and commitment phobic to you, there's something there that prevents him from wanting more. Before you say, 'oh he's been single for a while, he really is commitment phobic'. You are orbiting guy #1, and guy #2 is orbiting you. You're wasting your time with both of them. You need to stop carrying on with these male friends, it's preventing you from finding a real match. Anytime you are out with these guys, you might as well be holding up a sign that says "unavailable".

Hate to be a negative Nancy, but strictly coming from a theory POV, the relationship is doomed if the man is the one wanting a marriage and the female is objecting.

Doesn't the saying go: If you love someone, you think of them before yourself? I can't imagine being in a romantic relationship in which I kept score. Heck, even in my friendships I don't keep score; you just do as much for those in your life, because you care for them. I find it unfortunate that men (in realizing dynamics through RP) aren't granted this, without repercussions.

What's funny is that the people who you think are inferior, probably feel superior to you. The pre-date vetting is the profile. You already know what he looks like, interests, job, musical tastes etc. The more communication you have, the more invested you are. It will hurt more if you've had a continuous pre-date text conversation and you like him but he doesn't feel the same (when you meet); and it totally sucks to reject a guy who's smitten with you. OK, but what's the RPW way of doing this??
/r/RedPillWomen13/03/16 05:40 PM

Yes, you are missing something. An extroverted guy who has experience with women is not going to lay out his cards on the table before even going out on one date with her. He probably wouldn't say "I want a LTR" until he's actually gotten to know her, and decide then. Otherwise, he appears to be a player, promising something that he might not deliver. She is right to feel weird about this.

There is such thing as a pregnancy fetish; maybe expressing your RP views heightened that for him.
/r/RedPillWomen13/03/16 01:43 PM

Maybe he's just an odd duck, but something is off. I don't know why he would tell you he wants to kiss and hug you all day, or ask if you are looking for a LTR, before dating you. I sense a plate spinner.

Sorry for the delay, I've been ruminating on this. My take: You're naturally controlling and dominant. Your husband has become "scared" of you because of your control and anger issues. You respond by becoming more controlling/angry bc his passivity has caused you to lose respect for him+ lose an emotional connection. Do you still love him? Is there any attraction left? If you want to fix this, you have to cut it out. Forget about the pizza, forget about how you expect him to react to whatever sc…

To clarify, would you say the issue is more about him not taking action, to right the wrong? Or more like he didn't seem to care about you? Would you rather his response be: A:(mildly annoyed) "Damn, sorry I ordered it wrong! Want me to go back?" or B:(mildly concerned)"Oh hun, the pizza's wrong. Is this ok for you?"

He might be a great guy, but you have no chemistry. You're trying to justify your behavior by saying "maybe, maybe, maybe", but you know that really, you are acting out of selfishness bc you feel you're running out of time. You're not going to be applauded bc you stopped saying "I love you" to be more "truthful". You're fucking with him. Don't hold his emotions hostage. It's cruel; and you're taking advantage of his naivety. He doesn't deserve to be with a woman that doesn't desire him, and why …

Why is the choice here to pursue a demanding degree that makes you ill, or have kids ASAP as a "backup"? This seems a bit erratic, it might be the depression talking? Is there no happy medium here? As /u/FleetingWish stated, The Women Collective doesn't care about your health, they just want to further their agenda. You have to do what makes YOU happy. As I read your post, it seemed like a raincloud was forming over it, you have a visceral response to your coursework. I wouldn't advise a woman w…

To quote the great Adam Carolla: "If he likes you, he'll call you." This has taken all the guesswork out of dating, for me. You've already established that you are interested through flirting, being inquisitive, and pleasant, I assume? Once he has your contact info, let him have the satisfaction of leading. If he doesn't, don't push it. He's not interested enough.

I had this discussion with my bff once, we were both in agreement that women get very unreasonable and can be outright foul when rejected sex. It's hard for us to cope when sex has been so easy.. I know bc I've gotten that way, which is out of character bc I'm pretty sweet otherwise. I think it's caused bc your body is revved up to go, and when that energy is suddenly corked, it's expelled in a negative way. Buuut... What if you started pleasing yourself in front of him? Do you think that would …

My lazy way to get a meaty texture out of tofu is to freeze it, it pains me when people waste several paper towels to dry it out! (I'm glad that your recipe used towels) I mostly use the extra firm, here's the method: -Drain the water from the container, then stand the tofu vertically -Place in freezer overnight -when thawed, "wring" out the water over sink (its texture will have changed to let you do this, it becomes very spongey) -tear or cut into cubes and bake as usual, to dry out I always s…

Your man is going to be attracted to her no matter what. If I were you, I'd get to know her. When you familiarize yourself with someone, it takes away their mystique and humanizes them, and you are far less likely to be jealous of them (in my experience anyway). It also elevates your status; do you want to be the stereotypical woman who hates other attractive women? Or a cool chick who is comfortable with herself and can make friends with the 'enemy'? You got this, Vee!

Remember when you were young, all the friends you had? It's not by accident that kids have lots of friends while adults might have trouble making one , that's because when you're young, you're forced to be in class with the same students over and over again, year after year. You're familiar with each other, and that's how friendships cultivate. As adults, we're confined to work scenarios where there is very limited social time (no "outside play" of sorts). I'm sure that there are girls at work t…

Don't get hung up on this guy. Heavily suggestive texts are an indicator that you'd just be a plate. And don't worry about finding a guy to go out with while visiting. Men are different in NYC, they will make eye contact, smile, and actually approach; it's a city in which you have to be more aggressive, and that attitude carries over into dating.

A new tip I'm trying out: castor oil on lashes. I read this makes stubby lashes long and thick, but it takes a whiiiile to take effect. If any men are reading this; castor oil and other oils regrow hair that you've lost. On amazon alone there are many praises, so it's definitely worth researching.

I'd look forward to taking 'RP Dynamics'. For example, I once read on RPW that familys in which the wife shows respect and deference to the husband, have more well behaved kids. This is something I've seen for myself IRL but I never realized the dynamics of that, it's like a trickle down effect. Contrast that with the many times I've seen wives sigh and roll their eyes at their husband- the kids follow suit. My extra curricular club would be web based, like coding or graphics. I know a lot of SA…

Rpw gives guidelines to cast the biggest net. But if lavender hair is your thing, and it actually looks pretty and you maintain it well, it can be very becoming. Not all guys are into that though, so it's up to you whether you are OK with limiting yourself, or opening yourself up to the men that are into that look. I think the unnatural colors are pretty, when done well. Just be warned, it's the go-to look for feminists..http://i.imgur.com/rfoNzLx.jpg :P

No it is not. People are always most often concerned with domestic problems and problems they can themselves influence, rather than foreign problems and problems that are out of their reach. You consider women's issues a domestic problem? It's not possible, with the usage of the internet, and the vast funds collected from women's groups and elsewhere, to impact change internationally? Given that most of those sexual actions have been illegal in the past, and that he is speaking from the same fac…

It also depends on each person's priorities; a lot of couples put SAHM above extra money and having day care workers raising their children for 8-9 hours per day. We're in agreement. That's why I stated "it should be a conscience, purposeful, and enthusiastic choice". The role of a SAHM is all of that. As long as the SAHM chooses her husband wisely and fulfills her duties, I think it is a good way to raise your kids. This means everything. Again, we're in agreement. However, many women are unabl…

Great post! I am new to RPW but I find I naturally agree with much of it. I'm very glad that 'financial stability' is listed here; I don't think that RPW stresses enough that the ability to be financially independent is important. Recently there have been many posts telling how being a sahm/sahw was the best thing they've ever done. While I'm happy that posters found a great man and harmony in their life, I think it's important to stress that this should be a conscience, purposeful, enthusiastic…

Hello. I've been lurking since the summer. I probably won't post much; I like to read the viewpoints, also, I'm trying to limit my Reddit time in general. Since I do lurk, I figured I'd say 'Hi". I started visiting RPW daily ever since agreeing with most of the viewpoints on the Marion Cotillard thread. Currently single and looking, I came to RPW by way of TRP. I feel like RPW is the positive PR campaign for TRP (hehe). While I don't agree with all the advice posted here, I like that the main th…

First post on RPW :) I had to chime in because I know exactly where you are coming from, Americans do eat way too much meat! I was in the same situation as you are. My ex came from a very meat-centric family, whereas I was always the type to order the side item meal at Boston Market. I completely understand how meat eaters feel when they have a meatless meal, that it's not "complete"; I feel that way if I don't have a green veggie with dinner, it just feels odd to me, you know? Here's what I sug…
