I went on monk mode for 2 years. Started broke and out of shape. Came out rich, jacked and famous. Ive made $2.5m profit since 2023 because of the momentum from that monk mode period. It works. Just don’t become a social autist during it. Continue talking to people as you go about your disciplined schedule. I would make a habit of saying hello to everyone when I was running or training in the park during Covid. Continue learning by consuming content of people you want to be like. Get online coac…

Meditation is what you need mate. Download the app ‘Medito’ (completely free, ran by volunteers, no BS kind of app) and use it every single day for the rest of your life. You’ve damaged your ability to focus with modern addictions for years. It’s going to take months or years to reverse this, but the time is going to pass by anyway. Meditate for at least 1 minute every single day for the rest of your life. You’ll miss thousands of days. But keep this lifelong intention in your mind and you’ll ne…

Idk about that. It’s awesome to improve and becomes a game after a while but I certainly started lifting to get more girls. Completely agreed. I started by thinking that girls didn't like me because I was brown skinned. No, I was an awkward, weird, video gaming, skinny fat, social retard who just happened to be brown. Fixing all that takes a few years and now being brown is an advantage because I'm brown and handsome, brown and jacked, brown and confident etc. Break the stereotype. It's not THAT hard.

You got this bro, I highly recommend creating a habit tracker for yourself too. That significantly helps the guys I put onto these habits. Just write your desired habits at the top of a page and put the date of the month down the left hand side, then draw boxes and check off those boxes when you have done the habit that day. If you stick up your habit tracker on your wall, you'll see it all day and have extra motivation.

I like to say that meditation reduces the power of your lizard brain. I hear the 'bad' thoughts and feel the impulses and cravings far less and when I do hear them, I'm able to tell that those thoughts are my lizard brain. The effects to my self improvement has been immense. Meditation has very seriously changed my relationships. I often get into a flow state when talking to people now instead of overthinking what I'm going to say next.

fulfilment through kids is dependent on immediate and extended family support (close proximity). Grandma grandpa, uncle, aunt, cousin, etc. Most people today are spread far across the country from each other and isn't practical to help each other out. It doesn't help that everyone is serving different masters, all but themselves via 'jobs'. Some one or a few need their own business that supports them and they can structure their time and family as they see fit to aid in the family. This was a ve…

Those were the posts that used to make my heart beat faster. Good stuff. It seems like the normal young guys of today are adopting some of the red pill principles so casually now, when it used to be extremely taboo just a few years ago. I've even seen comments like "she's not yours it's just your turn" and "don't turn a hoe into a housewife" on Instagram with thousands of likes. Although I agree that we'd be limiting our dating potential by being absent on social media, my argument for the past …

I can’t emphasise the value of introspectiveness enough. Theres a good reason why seemingly every successful man journals and does ‘deep thinking’. The young guys I speak to never do that. They do their thinking whilst watching YouTube videos or reading Reddit posts.

Agreed, I got pretty lean after my cut last year. The discipline required and the final achievement still fuels me with happiness and pride. Quick piece of advice for anyone reading this who wants to get lean but keeps struggling with overeating: It's your mental health that's the issue. Overeating is just the symptom.

Scale is also how more and more young men are able to sleep with a 'rock star' level of girls. Get into the top 10% of young men (it's really not that hard) take a couple of shirtless pictures and you'll have more options in one month than every generation before you.

The timetable is a guideline, often you'll run over the time when you're in a flow state of work. It's nice to have that guideline set so when you have that moment where you don't know what to do, you already have something wrote down to follow. Pretty soon your entire day becomes a routine, some may find that boring, personally it has skyrocketed my productivity and I'm happier than ever. Imagine a morning routine, but for the entire day. The entire day becomes a habit. That's powerful.

Thank you. May we have this added to the sidebar please? Completely agreed, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson drives that point home. Stop focusing on the symptom (pleasure, happiness, purpose) and start focusing on the actions that cause those symptoms (achievement, meditation, journaling).

You are very welcome. Thank you for taking action on this post. Please allow the self improvement recommendations to seep into your everyday life. If you repeat what you’ve just done everyday, you’ll see remarkable results you didn’t know was possible simply by journaling a few things down.

Disagreed but I’m definitely biased since I’m selling coaching but the transformation my boys go through in just a month is remarkable. Investing into yourself instantly puts you into drive - You’ve spent the money now you gotta do what coach says otherwise it was wasted. Right now I have a book next to me with the names of 16 guys who came with symptoms of major depression or anxiety (some living like that for years) and we’ve at least halved that.

This is such an interesting concept - I can tell you’re speaking to your younger self in your comment. Most of us wish we could go back in time and tell our younger selves to work harder. What is your future self thinking about you right now? Let’s make our future self proud.

I make a lot of the same points you’ve commented. A lot of the race excuses people make are just rationalisations for inaction. It was literally as simple as 1. Get jacked 2. Learn game For me to be able to consistently get women. But you won’t get anywhere arguing with any man who uses genetics as an excuse.
/r/TheRedPill04/03/21 08:10 PM

Weed is a very easy drug to rationalise and in all honesty I believe you have done just that. Take a look at the comments of this post. There’s two kinds: Men who have taken accountability and admitted they previously were addicted, and there’s men who still make excuses for their addiction. It’s like they are certain it’s not a problem. It would take me hours to convince them otherwise so I won’t try. Binge eating however, I can absolutely help you with. Most of binge eating is caused by anxiet…

This reminds me of the gold quality 'old school' red pill posts. Thank you for writing. I have some advice for young guys who feel a little clueless exactly how to find or build their tribe. Do you join a MMA club like everyone on asktrp suggests? How do you even make friends during this time? You must be the one providing value. The reason why you haven't found high value brothers to grow with is because you aren't that valuable, yet. As u/redpillschool said - One of the best benefits of a trib…

A lot of it had to do with setting the frame that our relationship was going to be sexual. I just started assuming it and it’s like the girls I’d meet would automatically assume it too. Then it was just a matter of not stepping on my own dick and escalating

The nerd often gets the girl in the movies only after his self improvement journey. It’s actually pretty realistic. He stops being such a little bitch, works out and challenges himself with something difficult. He beats up the bully and skyrockets his confidence and then he gets the girl. He’s no longer a nerd anymore.
/r/TheRedPill01/03/21 06:25 PM

You can get to a low bf % by simply cutting calories and continuing eating junk but that is the least sustainable, least healthy way to do it.

Fantastic post. Congratulations on EC. One addition to the 20% IMO is great Tinder pics. They are like an asset in this day and age. Get lean, get some ok pics and start inviting Tinder girls to meet you and get these Tinder girls to take new pics of you - Your male friends are likely trash at taking pics and don't give a fuck, asking girls to take pics of you and they'll get all the best angles and shit.

How can you respect yourself using social media when we have proof that it induces depression and anxiety symptoms? And now there's even potential that Instagram lowers your fucking testosterone. Pussy (especially pussy you get from texting/social media) isn't worth as much as your mental health. If you think it is, shame on you, simp. You write a whole lot of posts. Like a lot of posts. Take a breather and recalibrate because it seems like you're throwing shit at a wall and hoping it sticks t…

You sound very different to the guys I'm talking about. You won't feel like you're doing the 'right' things for a young since you're quite young. Stick to it though. Read the posts from the EC's and even look through their profile for old posts and use them for your growth.

even then the only way you're seeing and sending memes is on social media. Every time you go onto Instagram or snapchat you're trading your mental health for that quick dopamine and to avoid FOMO. You'll see the most growth in your life after you quit.

Your writings are like building instructions or Wikipedia in the apocalypse. Men who do the work will use it as a guide and put the intention in to make a life worth living. Men who were never going to do the work anyway (because of instant gratification) won't.

This is so true that I know you actually fuck. Every one of my plates has that "10 unopened chat" phenomenon. And here I am, I don't even save their numbers in my phone, text them literally one word to organise a fuck. I used to be that unopened snap guy, thank you rp.

Good post. One addition: Flaking is very common because all women have lots of options due to Tinder and Instagram and shit. The one thing all men must do is get a confirmation text before actually getting ready to meet for the date. If she doesn't text me "On my way" I don't get up from my desk. Getting flaked on is slightly annoying, getting stood up would be fucking abysmal. If you text only for logistics this way you've only used just a few minutes of your valuable time to set up a meet that…

No one had a good answer for you. 'Winning' is living a life with fantastic mental health, full of beautiful relationships (friends and women and family), adventure, excitement. Have as much fun and love as you can whilst being as healthy as you can. At least that's my opinion.

Not OP but personally I message and set up the same night thing with all of them. Many won't reply / flake, perhaps more than 1 will be down to meet me. When I obviously flake on 1 of them, she's usually more into me the next day. Keep them plates spinning g

You aren't sleeping long enough. No one is. Answer this question: You want to wake up at 6am with 8 hours of sleep. What time do you go to bed? To this day not 1 person has been able to answer correctly showing 100% of the people I've spoke to do not sleep long enough.

well said. As someone with 8 years of experience in this area, you get to sub 10% bf for a bodybuilding competition or maybe, just maybe, a holiday like Ibiza. You do not get sub 10% 'all year round' to approach girls in your city, that's a silly amount of work and dedication for sex.

Forget the 'just join a club bro' advice. Anyone who joins a martial arts or gym trying to make real friends will be looked at as cringe. That's where you go to train and maybe build training partners over months but often not more than that. The real secret to making friends is becoming the initiator. You're boring, you're hoping a fun guy approaches you and invites you into the fun. Guess what? So is everyone else. Become that fun guy who approaches people and invites them into the fun. Ha…

I used to do this and that was the point I was getting the most girls in my life. This shit works if you're attractive, don't listen to the guys who don't even lift/are kinda ugly. But overall, it's probably not worth it. I don't use social media anymore because even with the 'passive' stream of new plates I was getting from it, it definitely fucks up your brain and research consistently shows using it ruins your mental health.

You're overthinking it. Just start approaching and it will all line up after you have been rejected a bunch of times. This is like a fat person asking for small details because they feel comfortable sat inside waiting for comments instead of going to the gym. Go outside and approach. Then you'll be able to answer these questions yourself.

Tim Ferris explains it perfectly "80/20 your life" This takes direct intention and effort. Clear up a couple of hours to sit, think and journal and what you want in life and by when. Write a clear, reasonable pathway to that goal and then create a daily timetable that will get you there.

OP not a single commenter has gave you practical advice in building social status and quality friendships. The basic 'go join clubs' advice is pretty trash and anyone who joins a club with the main goal of making friends will be sadly let down. The bulletproof way of making friends? BE THE INITIATOR. YOU INITIATE CONTACT YOU INITIATE THE EVENT You should have fun shit planned in the week that you are going to with, or without other people. Then when you approach strangers (you are approaching, a…

Obviously 1000s of dates is an exaggeration but they have certainly had thousands of messages, matches on Tinder, DM's on Insta. You aren't special, unless you have very high smv. That's why self improvement is so important. When you're jacked, you're suddenly the one she remembers amongst the army of chubs and sticks she's previously had.

Read How to win friends and influence people. You have a lot to learn from him and even if you just share one hobby of lifting, you have hours of potential, fun conversations to be had. Take an interest in him and give genuine appreciation for the hard work he has put in. If he is as 'chad/alpha' as you think he is, he will reciprocate. And jacked guys love talking about lifting.

First of all you need to practice gratitude. There's techniques like writing in a gratitude journal that will change your life as much as lifting weights will. You have so much to be grateful for your parents, even though right now you are adamant there's nothing good they have done for you. Look up. What do you see? A roof. A roof over your head paid through your parents life commitment to jobs they probably hated just to keep you safe from the elements. I bet you're not hungry either are you…

Change your locks asap. Send her anything you still have of hers and apologise for being a drunk asshole (not exactly for her but saying your apologies will slightly clear your head) then block her on everything and move on with your life.
