It’s not that simple. Women are not simple visual creatures like men are. You can be a 6’4 jacked guy, but if your social skills are garbage or you’re an obvious raging misogynist, then you’re not getting laid once you start opening your mouth. Ever hear girls say “he was so hot until he started speaking”? There’s a reason for that. Having said that, the 6’4 jacked guy is going to get WAY more dates and even approaches from women. And if he keeps his talking to a minimum, he will get laid. So ye…

Same thing when girls complain that “all the good guys are taken”, or “kill all men”. They don’t even consider the kind hearted men that would actually treat them well (and I’m not talking about the stereotypical “nice guys”). Those good men literally don’t exist in their sexual/relationship radars, they are only describing “men” based on the subset of shitty douchebags or desperate creeps they have dealt with, and not taking into account the rest of mankind, which I would be willing to argue is…

Not everyone can be high value though, and people of course are going to want cheat codes when they think they either aren’t high value, or can’t be high value

You are absolutely correct for serious relationships or women looking for long-term commitments, but for short-term flings, perhaps there is something to the Casanova/womanizer characters like Bond & Draper? I mean, they do get laid a lot after all. Or why is it that they are able to get laid so much? Do they just prey on insecure or vulnerable women or do they falsely project qualities that are attractive? Not that they are paragons of morality nor ideal partners.

Very thoughtful and insightful response, thank you. Do you have any thoughts on characters you would consider to be “charming” or more literally “seductive”? Like a Casanova-type character, but in modern TV or film. I would say James Bond but I’m curious to see what you think.

When you’re a short man able to pull in a tall girl, it kinda is a trophy showing that you got game.

Did he ghost you after 9 months of dating? Do you know if he’s ok, as in feeling well or even alive? A little known thing is that deeply depressed people can ghost you and everyone else they know (social withdrawal). Otherwise, if you know he’s moved on but just didn’t want to tell you, then consider it a blessing you have such a prick out of your life, and know that it’s extremely rare for anyone (man or woman) to do this to someone after dating them for 9 months. So don’t lose hope in humanity…

Why do you frame it as if “oh my god I can’t believe you even asked this?” My guy, not every dude gets the privilege of growing up learning what to do in these circumstances, and we are on a subreddit to help guys who don’t know what they’re doing for Christ’s sake!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
