Find something to get angry about, that’s always worked for me

You should listen to the song ‘born and raised’ by John Mayer. I think you’ll relate to it quite well

Sounds like you’ve lost your mojo. Getting emotionally destroyed by this new girl will probably help. And I’m not being sarcastic either.

What else are they supposed to do? Most people are average and most people won’t escape the average life. Most men either have an office job or a labor job. Very few make it as pro athletes, musicians or whatever other occupation is going to make them busy on a Saturday night. If they want to spend a Saturday night drinking beer, what’s the big deal?

This is true. A lot of guys think of the wedding as the finish line. In life you can never truly take your foot off the gas and relax or else things tend to slip away. Marriage included. That said, women are finicky creatures, we cannot control them. A man could do everything right and still find himself in a dead bed room. In any case, I’m not one to wag my finger at another man for enjoying his life. If he wants to spend his weekend with the boys and not his wife, who am I to judge?

Could be a chicken or the egg scenario. Which came first, the dead bed room or going out with the guys

I’m in a pretty similar situation as you. 32, very jacked, make lots of money, close to 1M in mutual funds, friends are all married with kids. Pretty similar attributes. My advice is to listen to some creed, lift weights and care as little about everything as possible.

What kind of man gets happy that his child gets murdered? You’re lost man and you don’t even realize it.

I agree. Back when I was younger and didn’t care about anybody but myself, I dabbled. It just feels gross all around. Not to say I am a virtuous man now, but these days I at least try to leave things better than when I found them. In another world you might end up becoming friends with that woman’s husband. Why do that to another man if you don’t have to.

There’s a reason why when my generation were kids there were no girls allowed in the tree house. This is because they always have to make it about them. Once she’s in, say good bye from defending your tree house against orcs and shit. Now it’s about making a play house and having a beauty pageant. Even as little kids we understood these things. Thanks to the indoctrination station AKA public schools, men everywhere have forgotten. Anyways, no girls allowed!!!

We’ll take it from me as a guy in his 30s. I don’t have a “squad” anymore. These things matter less as you get older. Your boys will be the first to betray you, this is often true. So it is all the better to focus on self improvement. The more you can provide for yourself the better. Improve enough and you’ll be able to acquire new women quietly. No threat to your situation if no one knows that you have one. Anyway, it’s gets easier with age (because you’ll have more agency)

You sound young. I remember back when I was your age and in the fraternity, there was this girl who slept with a different brother every weekend. It didn’t take long until she would pit guys against each other to the point where we had fights in the house over this girl. It happened a couple of times and we had to ban her. Your situation reminds me of that. I’m glad I’m not your age anymore.

My friend what you need is to look into -self talk-. Learn how to optimize the voice in your head to work for you not against you. If you think about your life being a factory and all the daily outcomes are products, then the internal voice in your head and the thoughts you tell yourself, are the assembly line. Teach yourself to never use a “down” word or a “negative energy” word. Now don’t look at this like some hippy shit, this is supply chain and logistics baby. Pragmatic, tangible, qualitati…

Out growing friend groups is a great sign of self improvement. As a young man your friends are most likely due to proximity. As you get older, new friendships are based on some mutual interest of building or providing value. Beer buddies only matter for young insecure men. If you have real plans, real ambitions, what is a beer buddy doing for you? Nothing but pulling you away from what you could be doing. On the inverse, making friends in the self improvement game, these men will support you bec…

Hard to succinctly explain. But it used to be the Wild West. It was the marriage between a man improving his SMV while maximizing his options. Then the culture war happened. From 2019 and onward the culture war became too much of a burden to ignore. It’s hard to focus on getting laid when an entire skin color/religion on the other side of town wants you dead. And it goes in all directions. Look no further than the brown vs brown you are seeing today, right now. The red pill was great back when c…

I’ll give you a lot of credit for trying, most people never get to that point. Personally I never found cold approach or any PUA side of things to ever work. I’ve had my share of spur of the moment flings back when I was a hedonistic party hopper. A vast majority of the time I was meeting people that were also meeting people. I’m sure this will be a divisive take but I am confident that pick up game is a waste of valuable time. As a retired hedonistic party hopper I spent a majority of my 20s cl…

100% with the steroids comment. I’m a natural body builder (done 4 shows working on my 5th) and I’m trying to steer the ship around. There is no reason anyone should be doing steroids. Unless of course they are getting paid millions for a movie or something. But that’s not 99.99% of guys.

There’s enough slices of the pie to go around. Going after fresh and fit like this just screams sensationalism to me. I do agree with the critique of the whatever pod cast though. I don’t think the Brian fellow is red pilled at all. Which is odd considering he started out as a PUA channel. He has questionable behavior. Anyways I digress. It’s all people trying to make money off grifting.

You are missing the point. Yes they are sleeping with the same men but it’s taking them LONGER to get to the front of the line. Unless you know of some guys that have more than one dick let me know. I could be behind on the times.

If you think about it logically that means women are having less sex as well. You ever been to a Costco gas station? Big lines every time. Now imagine half the pumps are down. That line for the pump is now twice as long. Same logic applies

Number 1 thing you can do is sign up. Once you pay your registration fee it becomes real. Don’t worry about winning your first show. Just sign up for the open and see how it goes. Most first timers will get smoked by the guys competing for a pro card. Just do the thing and pay the photographer for your stage photos. You’ll have them forever.

I had oenitis real bad back in the day so I won’t grill you like the other guys here did. If it means anything, sometimes she pops up in my Instagram feed and I don’t know what I saw in her. Maybe it was the oxytocin or dopamine, but whatever it was I don’t feel it anymore. The passage of time fixes most things. Definitely compete in bodybuilding though. Ever since I went sober I’ve been so business driven. I’m in my 30s and have no problem working 80 hours a week. 40 at my day job and every other waking hour on my side business. This would not have been possible if I was hung over all the time.

Many of the young men that find themselves here need serious help. Having kids and raising them is the end goal for many guys, this is true. I’m a semi-professional body builder. At 30 years old I still get asked by strangers what school I go to or what sport I play. At 40 as long as I have a hip hair cut that hides my grays, I don’t see why I couldn’t look the same way I do now. Also major pro tip for the lads. Being tan is the number 1 way to age yourself. I know girls that are 26-27 that have seen so many summers their skin is already like leather. Happens to guys too. Just get a spray tan like the good ol Donald did and be done w…

If people think going to the gym is a chore they should dig up their great grand fathers and ask them how coal mining went. Life used to actually be hard. Nowadays every gym goer is a modern day Socrates, whinging away while performing labor as a leisurely activity. Wouldn’t be a problem if they kept it to themselves. However, these are the same people that are fitness influencers like Jocko and Goggins. To a rookie that has never been to the gym before, the life sounds terrible. Why would anyon…

There is all around too much whining in gym culture. You’re going to a cozy room to put metal discs on things and then pick it up. It’s really not that serious. And then you’ve got the guys who go on pod casts and talk about “going to the gym every day, even if you don’t want to.” Who doesn’t want to go to the gym? It’s literally like going to the play ground.

The fanfic going on here is odd but I’ll bite. You took a girl to a bar/club which is a terrible move for a guy your age. I’m guessing you are 18-19? Logistics are very important. Club game only works after you’ve had sex. If you’re having sex taking a girl dancing is a fun time. If you haven’t had sex, you’ll end up having a night just like the one you described. I would caution you to lose the ego. You’re 18-19, there is nothing cool or awesome about you. Nothing personal. You haven’t been ali…

If you lose all your leverage there’s not much you can do. So it’s better to have not lost the leverage in the first place. Some guys really are past the point of no return, it’s a cruel world. That’s why guys here preach not to get married. Once you’re in the marriage hole there’s not much you can do to dig yourself out, short of cutting your losses and abandoning ship. To me that’s actually a viable option but too many guys get cold feet and won’t follow through with it. So preventive medicine…

I found this sub almost a decade ago now if you can believe it. I got dumped by a girl that made me cry. It was an ugly cry too. Snot coming out of my nose and shit. Back then we had the misc boards on bodybuilding . com. A guy there said to check this place out so I did. Back then we didn't have a fresh and fit podcast and Rollo was still this anonymous guy you knew next to nothing about. It was more exciting back then, more mystery. This post made me so happy to read. Its fascinating how aligned we are. It is as if you pulled the thoughts right out of my head. To add to this post, the consumer class has one purpose in society and also in life, and that is to have their resources extracted out from them by the productive. The best way to fight back against this social dilemma is to find out what people are wasting their resources on and be the one to give it to them. It is imperative that each of you become producers at all …

You’ll have to decide for yourself if you want to participate. For a man there are 2 options when it comes to dating and the sexual market place. Do you eat food? Instead of being a consumer find ways to make money off these things. On Saturdays and Sunday’s, drive Uber for football games, listen to the game on the radio. Someone you could look into is actually the YouTuber kinobody. Kids background is filthy rich. Disgustingly rich. Thing about him though is his dad died when he was young so he inherited everything. It’s easy to make fun of him and he does seem a bit out of touch with reality, but none the less he’s made a successful fitness YouTube channel that may have surpassed his father in income. The issue of the normalization of shitting on white people is a whole other topic. To sum it up, it sucks I’m sure, but the pros outweigh the cons. For the last several centuries White Americans have been and still are the dominant race. At last we see each other plainly. Here is a perfect example of my original statement. There is truth to what you are saying and also truth to the middle age divorce raped guys as well. A lot of things in life get better as you become an older man but some things get worse as well. The older you get, the less forgiving the world is on you. Being in your 40s can really suck. Even if you are on top. For reference, we can look at the man himself, Tom Brady. 2K followers won’t get you anything tangible. That is your foot in the door. Prior to 2K you are invisible on Instagram. As far as making money goes, you have to be savvy with it. If you don’t monetize in any way you’ll make zero dollars, even if you had 50k+ followers. To make money you need to partner with larger businesses to run ads. Or, you start your own business and use your already large following to push your own product/service. So a body builder like myself might put a link in the bio…

I agree completely. Some men are born with drive, some have it but it’s buried, and the rest simply lack potential. I think it’s pivotal to the life cycle of a man to do out reach and help young men unlock their potential. But many do not have it. It can be draining to sort through all the bums. Conversely there is something cathartic about sharing success secrets. So even if no one was saved, at least it’s enjoyable to share how we did it.

This is a good lesson for you to learn. Never open up or vent your problems to your girl. Life isn’t fair, you need to understand the rules and play by them. She can’t help you with your financial problems. All she can do is lose attraction. The only thing you might be able to do at this stage is become incredibly aloof over the next few weeks. You may lose her anyway, but by being aloof you might reignite some mysterious qualities in you. I think it goes without saying that you do not explain t…

You’re a young guy so I’ll give you a pass for thinking you need to become cold hearted. Family is the one thing you can’t get two of. As a young man you are coming of age and so it’s natural for you to leave the nest and build your own life. It’s not uncommon and most guys your age go through this to some extent. There is a reason the prodigal son is such a popular parable in the New Testament. You’ll learn the lesson later in life that you need to preserve the relationship you have with your f…

Similar to religious practice, we have to return to our discipline or craft with high frequency lest we forget. I did read it and picked up that you are at least aware of enough going on in the world to know about opium in Afghanistan and the poison that is goy slop (sugar). But this post meandered for far too long, with nothing of value coming out of it. If you’re going to write posts you need to have a plan first.

Thanks to the digital age the world has gotten a lot smaller. There's nowhere left to run, no where left to hide. A man has better odds clawing his way to the top than to find gold when there are no longer uncharted lands. Life's a bitch ain't it!

If that is the case, I would recommend doing total body work outs 3x a week. That means you do the core compound movements all in the same day. (3 sets of each, no more than that is needed) Bench, shoulder press, squat, pull ups, seated row. You could also dead lift but I don’t personally like the exercise. A good substitute would be the suit case dead lift (1 hand with a dumbbell or kettlebell) or just kettle bell swings. If you do those 6 exercises (18 sets total), 3 days a week, you should be…

I see that you are staying up late. If you are staying up late playing vidya or watching shows, ask yourself this. What am I accomplishing? If you go to bed just an hour earlier, you can wake up an hour earlier. That's enough time to hit the gym in the morning. Now, not only do you have time to hit the gym 5 days a week, but your nights are also now available for you to go on dates/gym again. Nothing wrong with a little vidya before bed, but you have to be honest with yourself. Is that last hour…

Right there with ya. It’s ironic. Just like you I found the red pill after some very hard experiences in my early 20s that left me broken and confused. I spent the decade improving and becoming the man I always envisioned in my head. Now that I am that guy, dating is harder than ever before. And I don’t mean getting laid, that’s the easy part. The real lesson in this story is not the obvious one. OP has made a post about not wanting to be set up with a biggun. Totally understandable. But how did this come about in the first place? As a man of 30 who still plays sports I think I can give some input here. You don't need to change but the way you look at yourself does. As you probably are aware from playing sports, different people are good at different things. Lets use hockey for this analogy. Some guys are born naturals when it comes to the puck. Pick a target of your income to invest. Let’s say this year you picked 25%. Every year push the envelope even further. If you saved 25% this year, next year do 30%. Increase the savings until you get to a level where it feels unbearable. Try to ride that as long as you are able to. Get yourself used to being uncomfortable. After a few years you can pull back a little bit. If you were saving say, 50% for a few years, than dropping down to 40% is going to feel like getting a raise. All the while, …

If you are 175 now do not bulk up to 215. You will not put on 40 lbs of muscle in this life time. The best you can do naturally at 5’11 is about 185 at 10% body fat. If you eat food until you’re 225 all you’re going to accomplish is getting fat. If you have a six pack you’ve already won. Don’t get wrapped up by the juicy fitness models. Well there’s a lot to unpack here. Red pill covers many topics, but the most common one, and one you’ll see here is to lift. Lifting is the primary way to build muscle. While sports are fun, you could be very good at a sport and not be muscular. A muscular frame will translate well to professional sports but I digress. Lifting is a life long journey. In my experience loading up on protein helps a lot with keeping calories low. I could rip through 500 calories of carbs just from having the munchies. You try to rip through 500 calories of chicken it’ll take a half hour to eat all that. It’s not glamorous but it gets the job done
/r/TheRedPill17/08/21 01:13 AM

I do it anyways. What do I have to lose? If I take in 200+ grams of protein a day, I know without doubt that I am getting enough protein daily. Is it too much? maybe, but who cares? I am hitting the quota with absolute certainty.

Show me a girl that ‘stops’ after one year of CC and I’ll show you a leprechaun. Things can happen, getting fat, having surprise kids, legs chomped off by a shark, whatever. When they stop it’s not by choice. You find me one that does and I’ll give you two leprechauns.

This right here is why you either spin plates or go celibate. The game is too stacked against us to win. I don't look down on MGTOW people for walking away. If you can't spin plates, you're better off not participating. And if you are spinning plates, you better not be knocking these girls up.

Heavy kettlebell swings will do wonders for the traps and forearms, two areas often neglected in weight training. Add kettlebell swings into your daily lifting routine, 100-200 reps at the end of each work out. Vary the weight, do a Turkish get up or two. The body is full of muscles that isolation exercise and sagittal exercise don't hit very well.

Instead of feeling jealous, accept that they are successful and doing better than you. Once you achieve this, ask yourself what needs to be done in order to do it yourself. All change must come from within, and its usually an uncomfortable process. If you want to rid yourself of these feelings of jealousy, it is none-the-less mandatory.

Look at it like this. The difference between 65 and 85 isn’t much. You get a little slower each year, but aside from that you are the same guy doing the same thing. That’s 20 years. You on the other hand, well shit. 20 years ago you were a sperm. And now you’re a grown man. You haven’t even hit that 20 year mark yet. Consider all the time you had in between now and when you were born. Now apply that to 20-40. You have a LONG time to live like a man. And if you double that, you get to 60. You got…

I and many men our age think and feel as you do. The pendulum is swinging I believe. Many of us were NPC's before finding places like this, the Donald, /pol and Q. All of these forums have 1 major corner stone in common and that is the pursuit of truth and knowledge. The cat is not going back into the bag, and this next decade is going to be transformative. Hopefully for the better. Gulag Archipelago is still a possibility, but I think we're going to win.

Sexual strategy is amoral. A logical approach is cruel but correct. Knowing the logical conditions for a woman to leave you will mitigate much of the pain if and when it occurs. Likewise, knowing when it is your logical best play to exit will mitigate the guilt that you will feel as well. Even amongst soldiers and kings, loyalty always has a condition behind it.

The hardest part of quitting isn’t the sport itself but rather the fellow skiers encouraging you to ride the chair lift back up. No one likes to ride alone so when you say you’ve hung up the skis, they take it as a personal insult. Making friends within the lifting community gave me a new group to run with for a while.

When I first quit drugs, in order to coup and really sell it to myself I had to be disgusted by it and filled with vitriol towards those that do it. For me this was the only way, because the group of friends i hung with had it a corner stone of their lives. Especially the snowy kind. While this was in a way, hamstering away the drugs it did work as I haven't done them since. I think this is where the Pareto principle comes into play. I have friends in health care, friends in teaching, I’m a STEMlord and I have friends in sales. Everyone works in different fields but all say the same thing. They are surrounded by unpleasant people to work with. Part of being in the top 20% is finding out what makes someone unpleasant, and not being that. Every industry has its rock star. Either become that person or find out who is and hitch your wagon.

If anyone reading this is about to start lifting, please just go to a proper lifting sub. The above workout plan reads like something you’d see on B B dot com. The same workouts I did when I was 18 and didn’t know any better. Beginners should be doing compound lifts and only compound lifts until they are ready to advance.

Bro do yourself a favor and head over to the finical independence sub. Learn how to start investing. Every time you hit 100k you’ll feel a little less dependent on your W2. After 10 years of investing at 30% salary you should be at half a million at the least. By that point you can let compounding interest do it’s thing and cruise control your way into early retirement, or wealth.

I'm doing this as part of a bulk. The program is Jim Wendlers: building the monolith. His only rule for nutrition is to eat 1.5 pounds of beef and a dozen whole eggs a day. But I also read an article on the art of manliness blog about how the guy raised his natural T levels by almost 300 from eating red meat and eggs daily.

Got blood work done a few months ago. T level was 409. Pretty terrible. I've been taking zinc, vitaman D, 2 pounds of beef a day and a dozen eggs. Gonna get retested after 90 days (30-40 days from now) and see where I'm at. Oddly enough I'm a very strong lifter. I'm in the 1000 pound club. I have no idea how my T got that low, but I'm doing whatever it takes to fix it.

I think male to female friendships work best in groups. Especially if one or more of the girls are sleeping with you and your friends. There is a saying somewhere in the side bar that a girl has boyfriends and girl friends. If you are not sleeping with her, you are a girl friend. So in these cases if my friend is sleeping with a girl, I have no problem being a girlfriend, and vice versa. Having girls in the group add a dynamic you couldn't get by just a group of guys alone. But this is because o…

Since I've lost 35 pounds and packed on plenty of muscle I've heard all of these too, OP. People have accused me of it all, 'starving myself', just a 'phase', must be on 'gear'. If you guys want an even easier one, just don't eat at work. If you work 9-5, skip breakfast and don't eat until you get home. You could take it one step further and not eat until after the gym either. By doing either method you'll be in the 20 and above fasting range. If you adhere to the rule of no food at work, you just about can't fuck up. its best to ramp up though, if you are just starting out than end your fast at 10, 11, noon, etc. By about a month in you should be able to fast however l…

meal prepping is as easy as getting the 5 pound tray of chicken from Kroger and baking that shit in 45 minutes and storing it in tupper ware. Yes that sounds fine. Try not to make plans four years ahead. It works for things like education or work advancement because once you're on the rails you don't have much influence on the time it takes for certain things to flourish. You can't plan an LTR like a 4 year degree. Just live in the now instead.

The best advice I can give is patience. It sounds to me you are already on the right track, the only variable we can't change is time. In a vacuum, our bodies can only burn 2000-3500 calories per day depending on your activity level. So if you were to quit eating it would still take a few weeks to burn through those pounds. Obviously we don't want that. As long as you are in a caloric deficit you will get there. If you have an event or vacation coming up and you want to lose as much as possible …

I found this to be true for about the first two months that I was going keto. Once my body had truly adapted I found that you can do it and do it well, if you keto correctly. The loss of strength in the gym isn't because of a lack of carbs but because of a lack of calories. As gross as it might be to have 10 table spoons of olive oil to get my calories, I could do it. I'm down just a hair over 20 pounds since I discovered keto/IF, but I haven't lost a pound on any of my lifts. In fact my body we…

Thank you for the reply. You are absolutely right, it is something you have to feel in order to understand it. I would encourage anyone to just go two months on meat and produce and see how they feel. Chances are high that once they feel it themselves they won't want to stop. Just like we talk about 'unplugging' here, there is an unplugging for processed foods too.

I would be OK with this sub having much more strict posting rules. A lot of good discussions get buried by posts from kids in high-school or early college. Being so young, they have nothing to contribute. And yet they tend to submit the most banal garbage. The youth should listen and observe, and leave the contributions to older RPers. Not that I am one of them, as a mid 20's fella I haven't made any posts, just comments.

I made the very mistake myself when I was new here. Once you feel that you 'get it' you may want to go and tell your friends. You might find yourself trying to bring RP ideas into conversations at work, at the bar, etc. However true all this may be, it isn't a good look for us. The Law of 38: Think as you like but behave like others. Don't forget to keep dressing nice once you're ripped. Speaking of coffee, I'd recommend intermittent fasting, keto, and heavy lifts to get there. (Coffee is key for IF and keto)

I disagree with this. If you are willing to spend the money you can have a perfectly accurate BF% test. I would go so far as to say the BF% is the most important stat. You can lift hard and eat clean all you want and that's fine, but if the data is there why would you not use it? The best goals are quantifiable. Saying, 'I want to go from 12% to 10%' is far more measurable than "I want a six pack when I look in the mirror'. The best way to do it is make teeny tiny goals every month, and record r…

If you want to ramp up your weight loss goals into overdrive and get ripped as all hell I recommend the keto diet. Lots of horribly obese people use this diet to shred 100 pounds in a year, but it works just as well for getting someone from 10-15% down to 5-8%. This diet is life style on hard mode. If you cheat or slack on it, you will get severely punished with headaches and nausea. But if you follow it correctly you'll feel fantastic all the time, and will be incredibly ripped. Well in the hind sight of 20/20. I would agree on the terms that > 6 is short term where as < 1 year is long term. But going into things there is no way to know for sure. You might think you're in what is going to be an LTR that doesn't end up making it. But in the present you might still consider it LTR. It's good to go into it with a sense of awareness, right off the bat ask yourself, is this a fling or am I in it for the long haul? It's easier to leverage your expectations that way, and when …

You are right about LTR's being RP on hard mode. That's why a lot of people go into relationships as an RP man and come out a year or two later a beta. Marriage is even worse, but you can't get divorce-raped if the legal system says you're single. Short term relationships that are monogamous can have all the fun parts of dating without the nagging.
