Thanks for the advice bro, I'm gonna think about it.

Thank you I think you are right because when I think about it I haven't tried to be sexual at all, maybe that's what it's missing in my game.

hahaha that's the problem, shit I don't like to brag but I even have a six pack and still my results are complete shit, curiously enough I can get hookups at the moment in bars and clubs but when it comes to getting the number and setting a date almost every girl has flaked. I know my problem it's game related but I can't seem to find which part of it is so bad that I can't get laid haha. As I side note I've never had a girlfriend and I used to play a lot of videogames in highschool but now that…

Yes I lift, my hobbies are basketball, reading and learning languages. I dress well for my age I think. By the game I mean making a conscious effort to get laid and fix this broken part of my life(romance and dating)

A part of me says it's a good idea because it will make me more confortable with girls and also because my hand and porn it's not enough anymore. The other part of me says it's a bad idea because it will reinforce my negative train of thought(not being able to get a normal gf or something similar). Honestly I don't know what to do bro but it's really fucking me up because I see other guys way worst than me in every aspect of their lives and still they manage to get laid and get girlfriends easil…

Yeah to be honest with you I look at other guys and also my friends who are fat, don't have a job, get horrible grades, high school dropouts etc, but they have plenty of girls around them, they get laid easily without too much effort and here I am spending nearly 30% percent of my income from two jobs chasing girls every week, doing at least one cold approach per weekend(something a lot of guys can't do or they need a lot of alcohol to do it) and my results are still awful. To be completely hones…

"Applying this to RP and picking up women: is eventually having sex with a 4/10 chick after hundreds of failed attempts, tinder swipes, conversations, mental gymnastics, expensive dates, drinks, months of self-improvement, etc really worth it? Will that small measure of success actually build confidence or diminish it? Depends on the person really." In my case it has diminished my confidence a lot, after trying so many times I'm seriously considering getting an escort to end this game once and f…

Personally I haven't tried indirect game because I think it's better to be open about what you want inmediately otherwise you just lose time imo. Better to be rejected quickly so that you can move to the next target as soon as possible but maybe I will give it a try since I haven't tried it.

For me intimacy is what a fleshlight or my hand couldn't give me. That's the only reason I can think of to get a girl in my current situation.

You just described my problem I'm a logical person and I love science too. I've been doing meditation for 5 months now and it has helped me a lot with my thought frequency so that I'm more present in social situations instead of what I used to do which was to overthink everything. For example: Before-should I touch her now? mm maybe not that will probably be awkard. After-I'm touching the girl without thinking too much about it. Also practice makes perfect so now I'm trying to be really straight…

This is truly what I've been thinking about recently. After a day of hard work I feel better than going out to smoke weed or drinking with my "friends". It seems to me that some people prefer instant gratification because it's the only thing they are familiar with. Rarely you will see a guy who has tasted the rewards of hard work indulging in instant gratification or at least I haven't seen any.

I'm stuck in this negative loop with women, everytime I force myself to get out of my comfort zone and do the approach rejection happens or I manage to get a number and she flakes. Maybe the attitude I'm projecting is my past-self as you said but anyways I think it boils down to how to make my brain act confident and with abundance mentality if I've never had any success with women. Really nice post OP, personally I found the best way to approach nihilism is having the necessary strenght to live with the undeniable truths of the human condition but at the same time realizing everything it's a simple game. It's up to the individual to decide if he wants to win or lose the game, not play or quit the game according to what makes him happy. I still think there must be some purpose or a reason for the existence of the universe because our very limited understanding of it makes m…

Correct me if I'm wrong but that essentially means we are accelarating the death of the universe when we improve our quality of life and continue to live? therefore committing suicide and destroying life is beneficial for the well being of the universe.

I think violence it's neccesary for any society to function properly. For example the government needs to enforce laws through violence otherwise laws would only be words. This type of violence is a requirement but there's another kind of violence which comes from a place of evil because as a politician you are sending thousands of people to die for your own selfish reasons. This is inherently evil IMO because no one should force you to do what they want. If we want to stop wars is as simple as …

You are risking your life for patriotism(a ridiculous idea form political elites to manipulate people) to get a paycheck. It's literally dying for someone else in this case the government, is that alpha to you or maybe the most extreme example of a brainwashed beta?

Sure, Nietzsche thought an ascetic life(monks or saints) is that in which you renounce to life (life=desire for power) because you think desire is the root of all suffering. Nietzsche's philosophy advocates the opposite: embrace the will to power, the ascetic ideal is a suicide for him because instead of embracing life as it is you decide to give up in some sense and now you are trying to stop the natural inclination of the will. It's obviously more complicated than this short paragraph but I ho…

Hahah trust me I had argued with new age guys, jehova's witnesses, christians, mormons, etc. They all try to justify their religion by twisting the passages as they wish. Ok let's forget cavemen for a second and focus on the dinosaurs why the bible doesn't talk about dinosaurs and why god decided to destroy all of them? Most of the time when I ask this question to religious folks don't know what to say and they try to change the topic. But whatever at least you are not one of them haha good luck…

Buddhism is one of the most interesting religions imo and like you most of the buddhists are open to a good conversation. I'd suggest to read Schopenhauer and Nietzche because both are related to buddhism. Nietzche said buddhism was a suicidal religion but Schopenahuer thought only an ascetic life was the way to avoid suffering, what's your take as a buddhist on Nietzche's argument?
/r/TheRedPill28/01/16 03:34 AM
1

Yeah all of those assumptions could be true but I think only through scientific enquiry and rational thinking we can get closer to objetive reality (truth), but that's only my opinion and honestly the most rational solution I've come up with until now to these kind of philosophical questions.

What has the better chance of being true? a)One of the thousands of religions that have ever existed since the beginning of mankind. Take into account that if you are right and only of them is right then a lot of cavemen are already burning hell, sounds really dumb to me. b)None of them are true otherwise god is an evil guy who only gave life to those cavemen in order to burn them in hell. You are saying consciousness has some sort of sentience that is keeping us from discover it?
/r/TheRedPill28/01/16 03:11 AM
1

Oh yeah solipism IMO it's a totally logical stance one can take and it's correct but anyways it doesn't resolve the problem and I'm almost sure the brain produces consciouness otherwise the existence of it as something in the environment would be really obvious therefore relatively easy to test via scientific methods. So until we finally come up with a solution to the problem of consciousness we are only playing with our thoughts.

Christianity is obviously BS, I'm open to the possibility of some sort of deity but the christian god is a clown. One thing that really convinced me of my atheism is the fact that life is intrinsically evil so I'd rather consider this universe a product of physics reacting in space-time than the creation of some god who enjoys the suffering of all of the life forms. As Schopenhauer puts it: It's always greater the suffering of the prey being eaten than the pleasure the predator gets while eating…

You don't get it YOLO is the ultimate freedom but is up to the individual if he wants to spend all of his limited time on earth playing videogames and smoking weed or he wants to get the most out of it.
/r/TheRedPill27/01/16 11:20 PM
1

Until is proven that consciousness is some kind of energy in the environment I think the hypothesis of the brain being the generator seems incredibly compelling. IMO everyone needs to ask themselves what they really want to do with their time on the planet if that means raising children or doing drugs is up to the individual. That's why I think freedom is the most important value overall.
/r/TheRedPill27/01/16 03:47 AM
1

Yeah if we don't commit suicide I think interstelar travel is almost a fact for the future. I had always thought education is the principal factor for success so as you said we need to create intelligent humans rather than a lot of them which is what it seems to be happening since the last couple of centuries. In order to do that I think we need to change the educational system.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/16 03:01 AM

I'm with you buddy transhumanism is probably the most rational alternative we have. I agree no one can live a 100% nihilist life we can only choose some path while we are here, personally I found meaning in searching for truth and looking for ways to increase my freedom and of everyone else. It seems to me only when we are free we can truly begin to live an authentic existence based on whatever purpose we choose.

Yeah being aware is something the majority of the population lacks.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 11:53 PM

I didn't say we need to stop trying and commit suicide. I was just making the observation that maybe all of our ideological constructs that give meaning to our lives are part of the biggest instinct of all life forms as far as we know, that is the ensuring of the survival and succesful reproduction of the organism. I'm not a native speaker so excuse me if I didn't articulate the sentence correctly.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 11:51 PM
1

I agree if you are doing what you want to do and that makes you happy go for it. I probably value freedom more than anything else.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 07:18 PM
1

This is the real red pill but not everyone can swallow it, that is why we have religión and ideologies to protect ourselves from the reality in order to ensure survival and reproduction.

Hahahah yeah sure I'm a serial killer
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 06:35 PM

Exactly You only live once so don't fuck your only chance by doing dumb shit. Now the question becomes what constitutes dumb shit for me? Whatever you disregard as waste is only your opinion not a fact. This means maybe for you and me playing videogames is a waste of our time but for another guy it's not a waste because he gets pleeasure with the game. Both are equally valid because there are no moral facts only interpretation of the situation.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 06:33 PM

That's right but if it isn't the heat death then our sun will take care of us by destroying the earth. This is fact and maybe is sad for you to know it because this proves your life or the life of your descendants doesn't matter in the end. But who says we can't enjoy existence while it lasts?
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 06:23 PM
2

Yeah your question is valid so as mine. If you can prove the existence of consciouness as something external and not dependant of the brain maybe some sort of energy in the universe or who knows. Then you can make a reasonable argument otherwise you are just playing with an irrational assumption. What's my irrational assumption you may ask? Well you are saying that consciousness is something independant from the brain therefore for making that premise a fact and disprove my entire claim you need…

How would you prove the existence of consciousness as something external from the brain? bet you can't prove it or do you?, if that's the case go get your nobel prize immediately.

I didn't said I was inmoral or a hedonist in fact probably the opposite yolo means for me that if this is the only life I got then why not try to reach my full potential?
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 02:09 AM
4

Mm it has been proven that brain damage stops consciousness, there's no you after you die maybe some form of energy but your capacity to experience subjetivity it's over. Sorry to burst your bubble mate.

I didn't get your argument care to elaborate please.

Really good post OP, every time you face some sort of temptation you need to think about why you set the goal in the first place, the mental picture you might get while thinking this will probably stop you from giving up to the temptation.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 01:56 AM

That's right nobody knows for sure what happens after we die but an incredible amount of evidence points to the fact that nothing happens. Yolo could be used as an excuse to indulge in hedonism but at the same time it can be used as an excuse to get the most of the only life you have. Just take into account that even if you "waste" your life by doing "dumb shit" as you said, or you decide to become one of the greatest minds of history either way you ended up dead and eventually forget like the p…

What's wrong with yolo? In the end wey are all dead it's up to you to choose what do you want to do with your life and for a lot of people facing nihilism this sounds like a great alternative.

I agree that's why not everyone has one, you must be willing to work hard, read about how money works in order to make good decisions and investments, also discipline to avoid spending in useless things. Not a lot of people are willing to do the work so they just say it's impossible or another mechanism is reducing the achievement by condemming it as something bad, evil, arrogant or the most common one: You must be so unhappy not everything is money. Yeah and you need money to get what you truly want no matter what different the goal is from what society expects. For example maybe after a lot of introspection you came to the conclusion that you want to live in a cabin in alaska for the rest of your life. Well you need money to accomplish that dream not that much but anyways. If you pay the mortgage with the money of your tenants, you are literally buying equity while using the money from other people. This is what I'm going to do after I have enough cash to put for a downpayment (2 years more or less).

Meditation has helped me a lot to know the difference between beneficial and negative, I used to rationalized procastination, my porn and other shit, now I still do it but very little because I can caught myself in the process therefore avoiding the behavior.

I'm exactly like you alcohol makes me a social and fun guy instead of the natural introvert I am. But I think drinking and doing drugs is the easy path and only a temporary one because those things only hold you back, why? you need to spend money, your health gets affected, once the effect is over your back to nothing or worst than before, etc. Nowadays I limit my consumption, everything with moderation is great but also when you are capable of being confident without drugs you are really free, …

The video was really good thanks for sharing, also I think the best way I've found to cope with the negative thoughts is meditation along with absurdism as my main source of comfort now. As the last paragraph from the myth of sisyphus says: "The effort requiered for reaching the tops is enough to fulfill the heart of a man. We must imagine sisyphus happy". This philosophy and meditation had been incredibly helpful but even so from time to time the angst and the sadness are still there.

I'm having the same problem my depression comes from the fact that I'm constantly thinking in death, why endure suffering and continue with this existence if all will be pointless at the very end of my life? I'm not sure but I think existential depression it's not the same as clinical depression. Based in what we know clinical depression is an imbalance in the dopamine and serotonine levels in the brain but then I'm healthy so why you and I are having this problem with existential nihilism?

Or go to college for courses or something like that, that way you can achieve something while having younger friends and living the college experience. I was in a party a year ago and there was this guy who was in his forties hanging out with his younger friends(20-27 guys), he was divorced but no kids, really seems like a cool way to live, no worries and going to college parties haha.

I think meditation is huge, I've been meditating daily for 2 months and it has been incredible when I didn't meditate if a girl rejected me my mind would go crazy but now I became aware of the negative self-talk and I just stop it because it brings me no benefit, without a doubt a must for any red pill man.

That's true most of the average people will do just what you just have said, marry, have kids and get a mortgage to be enslaved for the rest of their life. At the beginning of this year I downloaded the app and use it for a whole month(january 2015) it takes a month of 30 min daily to get through all the levels, when I finally finished I decided it was enough so I was gonna take a break. Delay instant gratification, read, learn a new language, meditation, debate with yourself, but the most important is to never stop learning because your brain is like a muscle.

I used to do that but now that I know how the brain works I'm more disciplined and even create some kind of a positive circuit of reward for any activity, for example: I have a list of things to do for the day that includes; gym, meditation, reading and learning a new language. Once I'm done with one of the tasks I give myself a reward like using reddit, youtube, facebook or whatever instead of what I used to do which was binge watching videos but without a self-improvement task behind it, basic…

Everything is caos and our perception of order and disorder are just ilusions. That's the philosophy imo. I'm a fan of philosophy to be honest chosing between one or another it's difficult because imo every school of thought has some true behind it. Personally my philosphy is some sort of absurdism I think because for me life is just an absurd game in which nothing seems to have a predefined or divine purpose. This is somehow depressing but at the same time it's very liberating. I'm free to embrace the absurd in any way according to my desires, goals and dreams before everything ends. I know it's go…

I disagree maybe at first sight atheism and rationalism could lead to nihilism and in some cases that's true like myself. I even consider taking hedonism as the only logical thing someone must do if all of this is fucking pointless. I disagree, a lot of guys I know can get girls, relationships or whatever without the things you mentioned. I have to disagree because when I was not paying attention to pursuing some kind of relationship there was zero success even though I was totally non-needy. Once I started reading PU material I decided that it was time to make a change, no girl will ever come if I don't approach. Since the beginning of my journey I'd had never imagine how far I got, so I'd stay with the abundance mentality even if it comes as needy I don't care because results are results.

Same problem here when I'm with a girl I can't express sexual intentions at all. Maybe is the irrational fear of rejection or something else that I can't figure out yet. I feel like a weirdo when I'm trying to do kino so most of the times I just avoid it completely I've always felt uncomfortable with touching even with my closest friends and family and I don't know why. I don't understand it too but the main reason I'm on this subreddit it's because I want to have a gf just for the sake of trying new things and get out a little bit of my confort zone.

It's difficult to stop caring about what other people think but maybe you are right I need to take responsability of my actions in order to take control of my ego. Thanks bro
/r/seduction01/05/15 11:26 PM

Aha I enjoy playing xbox but society see this as something for losers therefore your ego gets hurt so you begin to do other things that are not consider bad or stupid. Do you see what I'm doing here? Everyone is attached to their ego in some way or another and what's the ego you might ask: a social construct.
/r/seduction01/05/15 09:14 PM

Yes that's the most difficult thing for me. I'm not happy with my life to be honest and it seems to me that having at least one girl that cares a little about me is something that could bring some joy into my life therefore I began my journey in pickup.
/r/seduction01/05/15 08:24 PM
1

You are probably right the problem I'm having now is that my inner game (being happy with your lifestyle and a positive mentality) it's really bad. For me being happy it's difficult because I just can't picture myself faking a smile while knowing the harsh truth about reality(nihilism). I'm rambling about philosphy right here but I'm sure being sad and showing apathy in my actions is probably why I hadn't had a gf in my entire life also having bad results since I started pickup. Anyway my point …

Why bother to improve if you are great already? Another contradiction within self improvement let's be honest with ourselves here.
/r/seduction01/05/15 07:59 PM
1

Maybe you are right and this is why I'm not having positive results at all I've always tried to avoid neediness but even though I think girls notice it because the vibe I'm giving is negative. I'm always thinking: if I had a nice girlfriend then I will be happy so maybe this is the root of my lame game haha
/r/seduction01/05/15 07:53 PM
7

This seems like a contradiction. You don't need the girl to be happy but you keep searching for one all the time. Let's try to be honest here and say the truth: being in a great relationship is part of a good and complete life(happiness). There's a reason why we are in this subreddit and feeling bad when rejection happens.
/r/seduction30/04/15 04:13 PM

I think it's easier to handle rejection for someone who has already been successful rather than someone who hasn't been successful at all, that's my case and trust me every rejection hurts like hell haha so don't bother too much at least you have won a couple of times.

So you would rather live in a society that has a "natural law" with darwinian principles or you would live in a society in which women can go to outside without the fear of being rape by every man who lives according to "nature"? Don't be afraid to escalate and be relaxed. In my first date ever like 2 months ago I didn't escalate probably the fear of rejection was the cause. She was really into me but because of this she flaked anyway it was a great learning experience.

I think that it she was really interested she will text back and if not delete her and move on. You don't have to overthink about some random girl you barely know so I would suggest to keep with that mindset of not caring at all, remember there are tons of girls out there you just need to approach and game(practice).

I consider myself as an existentialist atheist and for me education it's the main problem when dealing with almost every deficiency in our lives. Once you are educated you can create your own existence based on what your rational thinking decides as a free human.I am into pick up because it's great to have better social skills and also I realized that women was an área that was lacking in my experience.

That has happened to me too but I think it's a good thing because when I don't care about the outcome they seem to invest more in me, for example. Last week I asked this girl out and she said no for whatever reason I can't remember right know haha I just replied with a don't worry I understand and suddenly ignore her for 1 week and now she is the one texting me first so in conclusion it's better to be free from outcome field tested ;)
