Societal expectations.

Men have been told for decades about the issues. Instead they decided to follow alpha bro podcasts and ignore womens opinions. Of course women are opting out.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 05:34 PM

Thats men's issues. Not womens to fix
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 05:24 PM

Truth is determined by facts
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 05:23 PM

Can you explain your question different?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:39 PM

What?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:30 PM

As long as the majority of murders are committed by men on women there isn't hypocrisy. There is only stating facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:26 PM

I'd argue both sides are stupid but as long as one is viewed as valied I will point out the hypocrisy
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:22 PM

So men dont care about what women think or are but what other men think or are. Men don't care if a woman is confident or competent because those things are seen as masculine while women just think these things are supposed to be something any adult should show. Thats the issue. Men only care if other men value them. They want to be praised by other men. They don't care about women at all. Women are a price to be won to impress other men. It doesn't matter what the woman wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:14 PM

Women aren't a hivemind. Men prosper in hierarchy and strife for it. Women just want equality. Masculinity is overrated if you can just take accountability
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:02 PM

Men value masculinity more than women. Men only try to impress others men. They dont care what women think.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 03:52 PM

I commented that male approaching is not worth anything because they dont value women. You came to the same conclusion for womens approaching. So technically we come to the same point for the opposite gender. That's why I replied to the automod
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:51 PM

You compared it to prostitutes. Im saying society views women approaching men as sluts. Female sexuality is still viewed as dirty and undignified. A woman approaching a man is views as a slut, easy and not worth a relationship. Take it up with society that keeps harping on womens sexual desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:46 PM

Do you have anything else to add than the quotes of a fictional character or is that the depth of your conversation skills?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:42 PM

Isn't it interesting that you connect slut to prostitutes? One is doing it for the joy of the game, the other does it for the business.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:40 PM

Correct. Men are shooting their shot. Women are sluts. What else is new
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:37 PM

My point is this: I wasn't approached because I was uniquely special. Omg! It's almost like men also just approach any woman and not because they are special and thats why it doesn't feel special to women! Who could've guessed?! 😱
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 02:35 PM

Because this thread is about women and whataboutism is useless.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 09:32 AM

I told my husband that there are some kinda secret women only villages. He asked me if he can hide in my closet if I ever want to run off to one of the villages, just so he can still be with me 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 09:30 AM

I saw a comment the other day on social media of a woman that lives in a "pink marriage". She lives with another woman and they are both mom's of two kids each. They decided to move in together when their relationship with the baby daddy ended. She said this is actually the best living condition she was ever in. The moms both have their own rooms but they share responsibilities and bills. Its like a flatshare but with kids. I can see that becoming more preferable
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:09 AM

Anything but acknowledging womens experiences. Great stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:04 AM

Its not even comparable. Men that hate women still want access to women. Women that hate men want to stay away from men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:03 AM

Oh! fetish posting on a monday on ppd. Interesting choice

I don't subscribe to 4B. I wasn't even the one that started to talk about 4B. I said that women will keep distancing themselves more and more from men. And that is happening already. Its currently in a transition phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 06:13 PM

There is not a lot of men that benefit from casual sex. They can get neither casual sex nore relationships. And women will probably even lose the interest in casual sex because of the way men behave. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 05:26 PM
0

Using men as dildos is close enough to 4B. And I think most women will not risk being with men too much anyway. Celibacy isn't as hard on most women as it is on men
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 05:04 PM

Women aren't men. The majority of single women maybe has some casual sex here and there. They dont have constantly sex with men

A lot of the serious complaints are just declared as hate and propaganda. If you can't reach them with the message you have to find a slogan. If the only way to get men to actively listen to the complaints is to hit them emotionally then the means justifies the message.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 09:49 AM
5

If there are serious complaints by soooo many women that are being repeated and shared and communicated wouldn't it be better to find a solution for the issues instead of just declaring it propaganda and hate? Wouldn't it be worth listening to what women have to say and why women even without these bad experiences are now scared to even engage with men?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 09:38 AM
4

Do you think explaining your experiences with the opposite gender is propaganda? Do you think this kind of propaganda is working on someone that has never had the same experiences with the opposite gender?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 09:07 AM
3

If they complain and other complain about the same issues, it shows its a pattern. If its a pattern the solution is to learn more about the pattern to avoid it. For that there needs to be multiple conversations and not just one person complaining.

I will agree when I actually see a shift in the sentiment. Until then I will keep pointing out the hypocrisy
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 07:16 AM

That is part of it. Because you can see the comments everywhere, where women are talking about these issues that its depicted as "hate for men". Even the comments under my comment here, men are saying it is hate against men if women remove themselves from dating men. Thats the issue. Women aren't supposed to openly criticise anything because it is viewed as hatred. Even when women are bringing studies, statistics and other evidence it gets handwaved as cherry picking to justify hate.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 07:08 AM

And yet thats what women are told. Or look at states where cheating isn't recognised as a viable reason to get a divorce and women are stuck in marriages with partners that are cheating on them. Men tell them they should have informed themselves before they got married or they shouldn't have moved to these states. I'm tired of the double standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 07:06 AM

You still haven't explained how this is a war on men if women just stay away from men. Its also a pretty misogynistic view to assume men alone created society without women being involved. But here we are. Being a worker bee isn't a consequence of misandry or feminism or a war on men. Thats the consequence of capitalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 06:45 AM
1

And yet. Governments still do that. As a woman leaving a state to get an abortion you can end up in jail for that. So yeah. Don't move in with a partner and dont have sex. Consequences are consequences.

into middle management/service jobs to leach resources from working masses. Are you confused? How is it leaching if women are working? Every pebble road plank nail and anything else related to society was created by men, and remain running because of men Not all men How is it a war on men if men have the exact same options and opportunities that women have? The only difference is, that men don't have easy access to women anymore. Thats not war.

The government also wants to have a say at what women do with their own bodies as the consequence of sex. Everyone has to carry the consequence for their actions. You don't have to be in a relationship if you don't want to carry the consequences.

How is it war if women stay away from men because of their shared experiences with men? Women aren't murdering men on mass, they aren't SAing them, they aren't even interacting with them. Men not having access to women isn't a war on men. Its a consequence of men's behaviours that is observed by women everywhere and compared.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 06:02 AM
1

What do you think 4B and similar movements are doing? They are encouraging women to stay away from men. And to be fair, you don't even need the movements for that. Men are very competent at advocating against relationships with them.

Yes it is. You still make the choice to date and move in with someone. You don't want consequences? Dont do that. Its the same as when people tell women "you don't want to get pregnant? Keep your legs closed".
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 05:01 AM
2

Its not misandry to call out negative, dangerous or abusive behaviour by men. Its women comparing notes and realise there is a pattern that is consistent and not just "you picked a bad one". It is women sharing experiences and encouraging other women to be vigilant and question their own perception of what is actually healthy in relationships and dating. For some reason that is seen as hate. Claiming its hate is a way to try to silence women and stop talking about the things they notice.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 04:20 AM

There is another guy in the comments saying that if women get screwed over that is just the consequences of being an adult and making decisions. Seems like it should count the same for men.

They are expecting too much if the guy they are with doesn't do these things naturally. Everyone should date the people that are showing up enthusiastic. What enthusiastic means is different for everyone. Romantic gesture for me is when my husband brings me my favourite energy drink or asks me if we want to go to M&S so I can browse the isles. For some women that would seem pathetic. But this is what my husband does for me without me having to ask for it, because he knows how much I appreciate t…

As long as its a preference and not a thing used to put someone down, thats perfectly fine. Preferences are basically boundaries. They involve you and not someone else. Being self reflected enough to know you can't handle someone with this sort of trauma is fine. Saying they "lost worth" or something along this line is not okay. I would never date someone with children because I am child free. Thats my boundary. That doesn't make single parents bad or anything. I just wouldn't be good around chi…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 02:36 PM

Same. I just wanted someone that is a adventure partner, sexual companion and friend. My husband was unemployed when we met. It didn't matter. Money was never what drew me to him. Other people keep telling him he needs to be a "provider". I hate this pressure they put on him. Its so toxic. And it hurts his self esteem. It just makes me sad that this is still a message that get put on men. And they keep swallowing it.

Someone in another sub linked this little tinder stats info: Bartenders get 3.5x more matches than Software Engineers (13.87% vs 3.95%). The more specific your tech title, the worse you do. I think men care much more about the income thing. I assume that when a guy earns a certain amount of money he feels more confident in himself and is more likely to ask out more women. There are so many guys in the manosphere and in male spaces itself that say stuff like "I am focusing on becoming successful …

Male hormonal cycle is 24 hours. While womens is 28 days. (For both: on average). That alone already shows there is no biological equality when comes to hormones and libido. If you stretched out the male 24 hour cycle to 28 days, men would probably have a similar behaviour that women have even if they don't have the ovulation cycle. There would be a week where they are extremely horny and then not so much around that. If you shrink down womens cycle to a 24 hour cycle then women could also be in…

Yeh. I experience that a lot. I sometimes start watching youtubers because they talk about a topic I am interested in. I feel nothing for the youtubers themselves. But the more they talk and the more I engage with them the more attractive they become.

I once crushed really hard on one of my profs in university. He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about a topic. I only learned much later he was gay and married to his husband. If a guy knows his shit but doesn't use it to show off or try to impress someone but is actually just really into something that is incredibly attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:06 PM

We back at "women are asexual" again? Wasn't that banned as black pill content?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 01:05 PM
2

Nope. Men regularly and routinely ignore womens consent and bodily autonomy. They coerce women to sex and they have no issue violating womena boundaries. They dont care about women as long as they get what they want out of women. Just because they don't do that with women they have familiar bonds with (and even that can be questioned by the porn preferences of men) doesn't undermine the issue itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 12:11 PM

As long as the majority of men view women as objects, mens PR is in the gutter which will make women hesitant to engage with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 11:48 AM

Nope. Men are very honest that they don't love women. They dont even like women. They just want women shaped appliances. They celebrate sex bots and AI girlfriends. They want to control women. There is no love in men claiming love. Its all about feeling superior to something and owning it.

It is like vetting men. Its how you are vetting anyone. And it is basically as you said in your second paragraph. You get to know someone. You learn what things are very important to you inside of relationships and you make sure you have honest conversations with a potential partner very early on about the things that are very important to you. If they are wishy washy about the things fhat matter to you in a relationship, you break it off. If their actions don't match their words, you break it o…

I will redirect the virgin hunters and age gap defendist to you then. I hope you keep questioning these preferences with the same distrust as you do when it comes to women not picking bi men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 06:17 PM

And you are perfectly fine if we criticise everyone's dating preferences and assign them hateful underlying reasons?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:55 PM
3

Or men could just stop being shitty
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:53 PM

Someone will always be excluded from your preferences. Does that make your preferences immoral? Do you have to examine everything or can it just be "because I like this and not that"? This moral policing of romantic relationships is so tiring. Men are constantly doing that with women on here with the whole bs of "average women need to be attracted to average men"
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:09 PM
1

Instantly controversial. Is it gender or sex? Is a straight man still straight if he is attracted to a female presenting man? Is it being attracted to the genials or the gender roles someone is performing? As if sexuality was this simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:07 PM
1

Or we stop assigning moral and hatred to preferences in dating and just accept people for who they are the same way bi men are allowed to pick a partner and have their preferences. Or would you call a bi man that is monogamous with a woman bigoted against men for not being together with a man?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:04 PM
1

Do you 100% know exactly where every single preference for a partner comes from?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 04:39 PM
1

I could also just say its a preference. Are you happy with that? The mechanism is implausible because you are trying to assign a weird inferiority complex about femininity onto some women as a way to make them feel guilty for not being attracted to something. Its really weird how obsessed you are with trying to assign some moral failure to a personal decision like who to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 03:41 PM

"A lot of women". No proof. You just randomly assigned a motive. Maybe a debate sub isn't for you if you just want to talk about some random theory you came up with
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:46 PM
1

You are irritated because I called out your conspiracy theory. And you didn't provide sources anyway. There were no links to actually read the studies. If you want to write an opinion piece maybe make sure you declare it properly instead of just trying to make it seem like you actually have any basis to stand on. Its also funny how you went from "women are worried about having to compete with masculinity" to "women are bigoted". I'm not suprised by it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:27 PM
1

And that was so supporting to your claims that you pull it out 3 hours later and not provide the actual sources in your OP. And again you are just making random connections. Maybe you should try to write an actual post instead of just an opinion piece. Then a debate might actual be possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:10 PM

I talked to him first. I visited him first. I said I love you first. I proposed to him. I know this is a shocker for you guys but when a woman meets a guy she is actually interested in, that treats her well, that is a good person and she is compatible with, she will actually show enthusiasm towards him. Not all men are desperate
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:55 PM

Debating unfounded opinions is usually not really the point of a debate. At some point you should be able to provide some facts and data. I get constantly screamed at in here by guys, that lived experiences aren't proof of anything. Also I'm mostly just bored
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:46 PM

Okay. Its unproven and unconvincing. At that point we are still only talking about a random theory.

No, speculations and randomly assigning patterns to something doesn't make it more valid. Thats like saying ice creams cause robberies. You are just trying to justify your theory without anything supporting it. There is just nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:29 PM

See you figured out that my argument is also speculation but can't make that connection to your own? My argument could just be "no" and it would still be equally as valid as your post.

I didn't assign my own weird agenda about femininity and masculinity about bisexual men. You are basically just trying to talk about your opinion on just nothing. Thats just conspiracy theory. Or religion. Depends where you coming from.

One wonders why you keep commenting and replying to a comment under the automod that specifically says, anything that doesnt talk about the actual debate should go there, only to then try to insult me by insinuating I dont understand the post.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 11:15 AM

Again. This post is just trying to manufacture some conspiracy reasons behind the insecurity. There is no proof of anything. Thats why the post itself is pointless anyway. /r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 11:14 AM

You are just assuming that is has something to do with femininity. Should we then also just assume that every guy that is insecure about a womans body count has a tiny penis or something? All of these things are just assumptions. The root is still just insecurity. The triggers could be multifaceted. Assuming it is rooted in the believe of womens femininity and claiming it as such is pointless. There is no proof of that. This is why I commented under the automod. I knew this would just be a rando…

Yes it does. Insecure people would stop dating someone if they found something that makes them feel insecure about them. Like body count. It is exactly the same. Sexuality is just one aspect of it. Insecure small men also don't date taller women. Its all the same. You find something that makes you Insecure about the person and then you don't date them. It can be anything. That doesn't make bisexuality special. Its just one more added feature.

Insecure people are insecure because of low self esteem and abandonment issues. It is always the same. It doesn't matter what category you pick. You can chose the guys that only want a virgin gf so she has no experience with any other guy before him. You can chose the woman that wants to make sure her partner spends lots of money on her. You can also not just grow to over 6 feet if you are 5'4. Again. This is just being insecure about yourself and worried you will be replaced by someone else. The issue is low self esteem and abandonment issues. Not competition of masculinity and femininity or sexuality itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 10:01 AM
6

Any person in a monogamous relationship will have to come to terms that their partner might be attracted to something that they dont represent. That has nothing to do with bisexuality. Thats just a thing about being realistic. Sure insecure people tend to fight with that thought which is why TRP invented the whole alpha widow thing. This isn't exclusive to bisexuality. This goes for every relationship. Insecure people will be insecure. Nothing to do with femininity or masculinity either.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 09:51 AM

I read the post. I don't see what femininity or masculinity have to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 09:47 AM

Why would femininity compete with masculinity? Its the same thing. Just two sides of the same coin. They don't compete. They exist equally
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 09:37 AM
13

Wouldn't the femininity part still only come from women if the dude is bi? Doesn't being bi just means he is also into masculine? Unless you insinuate that bi or gay men are inherently more feminine I don't see why femininity would play any role in this? This is such a twisted logic.

Lol. "it was so much nicer when the father could just sell their daughter to a guy that he thought would be a good husband and he had great relationships with" They are still doing that. In Afghanistan and places like that. Where fathers sell their 9 year old daughters to some random guy in the next village as his second wife. This idea that when women are trapped somehow abusive men are punished by the "institutions" is so ridiculous. Men even today can kill their partner and they get a slap on…

Of course I would notice. I love my husband. That doesn't mean he is necessary for my survival. I am with him because I want to. I know men around here don't care about women and can just replace them by any other woman but that not how it is for me. My husband is special to me, but I don't need him to survive

Then we are back at the no issue again. I just googled and there a lists with basically unused English words. Defenestrate – to throw someone out of a window. 😂 I like that one. I think it probably needs to be something that you can scream and that can't be confused with any other word.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 07:24 PM
3

I know. But I think even the stop light system is too generic. It needs to be a obscure, complete show stopper word that is not used in normal conversations at all. So that there is no plausible deniability ala "oh, I thought you just meant the pedestrian crossing light" or some shit. It needs to be so outlandish that there is no excuse and everyone around you instantly knows that this means "go away and stop whatever you are doing here. Take at least 5 steps away from me and stop talking to me"…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 06:49 PM

Maybe "red" is still to generic. Maybe it needs to be a completely obscure word that is not used in normal conversations at all. So its a complete show stopper and everyone around you instantly knows whats going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 06:46 PM

The only thing that would come to mind would be maybe sex with a stranger? Because once you are in a committed monogamous relationship you dont really have sex with strangers anymore. You can maybe roleplay that. Which can be fun. But other than that - there is probably nothing I did outside of my relationship that I enjoyed that I didn't want to do inside my relationship unless my partner doesn't want to do that. I don't just stop my sexuality just because I am monogamous.

And I want to see some accountability of people that keep pestering others. Why is your own wants more important than the first "no" of the other person? Whats up with this kind of disrespect towards another human?

Okay! I have an idea! Apparently saying "no" isn't enough anymore and leaves too many grey areas for some people. How about we implement kink consent for all society? We all come together and vote for a universal safeword. One word that instantly means "stop whatever you are doing and leave me alone or you will end up in jail". Like really hard consequences. So nobody is confused about grey zones and anything anymore. Make it something absolutely outstanding that is basically never used in norma…

Coercion via pestering. This is why we aren't officially calling that when it comes to sex "rape" either.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 06:05 PM

I was very explorative with my sexuality before I met my husband and I figured out lots of stuff. Some of the "adventures" things were also based on my partners and my circumstances. Making out as a teenager on a children's playground at night might feel exciting. It loses a lot of that excitement once you get older. Having sex in a tent is different when you are 19 vs 35. I also did certain things with partners that would cross my husbands boundaries and he made very clear he doesn't want, desp…

I refer again to my previous comment. And I won't engage in these women bashing conversations anymore. You guys keep living in a bubble. Of course the Internet is full of bad examples. But if a guy WANTS to appeal to women more and is ready to either sacrifice something for it, then i won't tell him to do something women definitely won't find attractive. Encouraging more personal expression is not the same as shaming someone and trying to force them to stick to outdated gender roles or victim blaming them. You are doing the same alpha bro bs that tell men "women will only fuck you if you are rich". You are trying to trap men in these roles. Men are suffering because of these rigid systems they are trapped in and men that use women as a stick to beat other men with just keep this system running.

Do you think society will ever change and make it better for men if other men ridicule each other and fear monger them into complying with this stuff? Has that helped so far? Is male suicide rates going down? Addiction? Are men happier being trapped in this societal expectation? I dont think so.

I like it when someone is passionate about something. They don't need to be exceptional or even good at it. Just be passionate and have fun with it. I love the energy of someone being excited for something. Passion is more important than being good at it. Someone can be an excellent lover for instance but if it feels lifeless and mechanical it is not the same as someone that is very eager and enthusiastic but maybe a bit clumsy.

You can not love and cherrish someone to value themselves. The value and worth feeling has to come from within. It is a self cultivated mindset, not a manufactured state of being. This is work you have to do on your own. Otherwise people will try to pour love into a black hole.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 03:43 AM

Predatory behaviour is normalised. Thats the issue. And it is an issue for women as well. Women are groomed into believing their own bodily autonomy and consent is supposed to be an obstacle for men to overcome to "proof" he is actually invested in her. We see that in the majority of old school Disney movies, in romance movies, etc. People are constantly bombarded that "romance" should be a challenge. It is just normalised behaviour. If you have to change the circumstances to get someone to have sex with you that is still coercion. This seems to be a very difficult concept around here.

What part of "did not want to have sex" is unclear here?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 06:33 PM

You mean: Used your money, age, status to convince her ? I think you don't understand this study. He is using these things to change her "no" to a "yes". That is manipulation. Why is his want to have sex with her more valid than her resistance?

Relationships aren't a guarantee for a social bond. It just means a status change. There are enough people deeply lonely inside of a relationship. That find no connection or intimacy in a relationship. So the idea that a relationship is a requirement when you can meet basically all of those needs outside of a relationship is outdated.

If you have to use a strategy to get someone to have sex with you that they declined, that is coercion. Rape seems to be a trigger word for men which is why its not used in these studies. There is actually a conversation about how men are saying they aren't rapists but when you describe things that are rape without using the word they are agreeing to doing that. How is that deceptive or any different? They are still not respecting her consent.

The fact that this is consistently downplayed as "harmless flirting" and "grey area" makes it even more disgusting. All of your "grey area" points are completely nullified by the fact that this study specifically says these guys knew they are convincing a woman to have sex with them despite her resistance. And I'm honestly tired of men excusing this kind of rape culture as harmless flirting. And no. The Alpha bros are not universally condemned. They keep indoctrinating younger men into the minds…

Its about time we stop this manufactured breeding craziness. We are already like pigs in a slaughter house. Breeding for the "elite". The wolfs are worried the sheep aren't multiplying anymore. Men call that "dumpster diving". So yeah. They also don't really care about women. A lot of men are obsessed with the idea of replacing women with robots. They actually hate women. They just enjoy the sexual gratification they get out of getting with women. Yes women are more selective. That doesn't automatically mean their selection is perfect. Friends of mine rated my husband a 4. I rated him a 10. So its probably very subjective. When we met he didn't have a drivers license, a job or a school degree. He dropped out of school to take care of his dying mother. He did that for a decade. She died a couple of month before we met. It is the pretending of something else to get consent to have sex, that is the issue. Did the guy afterwards said he doesn't want to be with her anymore because of the yoshi tattoo? Did he stopped when he saw it or did he still have sex with knowing he would not keep going. Thats not revoking consent. Thats using someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 10:15 AM

If you buy a car from a dealer that told you the car has never been in an accident, just to drive the car and then find out the breaks are broken because it was in an accident before, that would invalidate a contract.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 09:24 AM

Who says the guy can't revoke consent? He can. There is a difference between finding out someone pretended to be something else to have sex with you vs. being incompatible after having sex. Why is consent such a difficult topic around here?

/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:32 AM

The ones that are transactional will still find other transactional people. The ones that don't care about this kind of transactional relationship will find each other. Also. Give it a hot minute. Women just managed to catch up on education an…

Or, hear me out, instead of painting everything with a generalisation brush, we could maybe accept that people aren't one homogeneous mass. So there is no hivemind for all women. There is no hivemind for all older women. There is no hivemind for all younger women. Etc. Maybe we need to zoom in and focus on the one person we are actually trying to engage with instead of trying to stereotype everyone.

Back in the day the Internet was cat videos, telling people about your day and some DIY tutorials. Now its hate speech of people that have no credentials promoted by tech oligarchs because controversy generates more money. None of this is helpful for society and humanity.

Yeah. A disclaimer should be the least that could be done. And actually thinking about what kind of message is promoted including potential consequences instead of just spouting advice to sell courses, dating coach lessons, crypto and so on.

Content creators need to realise they dont act in a vacuum but a ecosystem. The times of "I am putting a little helpful video out there with some current trending tags" and then assuming it won't have consequence are over. Thats not how algorithms work anymore.

RP is not just "a little pick and then leave". It is a system that is designed to drag you in and keep you. I watched reels of a transguy explaining he just wanted to watch some videos of how to tie a tie. Then he started getting videos recommend on how to improve his dating life. And that led him down the road to hating women. Thats how indoctrination works. And RP starts especially with young guys that don't even recognise what is happening to them.

The mistake is the idea that these guys actually want love. They don't. They get off on power. Women are just one tool used to fuel their power driven ego. Women are part of their validation from other men to feel like they actually have value. They are deeply insecure, self hating people that feel like they have no worth in this world. It has nothing to do with love.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 11:54 AM

I didn't want to have children. So a potential partner that wanted to have children was a disqualifier. That doesn't make them bad. They can find someone that wants to have that. It just doesn't align with my idea of a relationship and how I want my life to look like. That's not negative or positive. Its just incompatibility.

I am being selfish with my answer: No. It took me too long to be comfortable with my gender identity as a woman to say I want to get rid of it. I enjoy dressing feminine. I enjoy "girly" things and expressing my gender in a way that is seen as positive by society. I do wish gender norms weren't as strict as they are. Especially for men. But I also like when men dress in suits and show off their manly bodies. I also like when women wear things that are gender conformative. I like when pretty wome…

But when you let men vent and show compassion/sympathy they will tell you it was useless since you dont offer advice, or saying it doesnt help them or they dont want to hear useless platitudes. Women will vent together and agree with each other about their grievance or just rage with each other. And then they will feel better. Thats not the same with men.

Lying to safe yourself is different than lying to get something you want or convince someone to do something you want. Thats the coercion part. And idk why you assume I am making that a gendered issue when I am not. When I am talking about coercion for sex it tends to be genders but its not a 99/1 issue. There are women that lie to get sex. /r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 06:57 AM

Most men just want a highly trained emotional support animal that they can have sex with. They don't even like women. Its a wonder our species has survived for this long once we started to talk to each other and could understand each other. The only reason humans are this overpopulated now with the mindset men bring is because they enslaved women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 06:08 AM

I am a bit of an outlier because I am a antinatalist. So my opinion will seem more radical. But for real - have you looked at the world lately? I think it is incredibly unethical, selfish and abusive to bring another human into this. If I had a child just to "be happy" it would absolutely be the wrong decision. And I think it is a disgusting idea to value your own happiness over the potential horrors you are sending another human into.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 05:57 AM

Lying to safe your own skin is different than lying to make someone else have sex with you. At that point you devoid them of consent because they can't consent if they dont know what they are consenting to. If you want we can call it rape.

Whats your definition of "dating"?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 05:16 PM
1

You seem to have issues reading and understanding words. They seem to morph in your brain into whatever fits your narrative. Maybe work on that. A dictionary could be helpful if you have trouble reading and understand written words.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 05:13 PM
5

The personal aspect speaks about how you view dating as a whole and with which goal. If you personally define dating as lying and using to achieve a certain goal then that would be fair according to you and you shouldn't have an issue with that. Maybe OP should've clarified her definition of "dating" because apparently it seems to be a difficult concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:51 PM

So for you lying and using is a part of dating. Is that your goal in dating?

Is lying and using someone included in dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:37 PM

You asked about spontaneous sexual arousal for a stranger. That is not the same as getting interested in a man and then responding to that interested with sexual arousal. Men keep conflating being interested in someone with instant sexual arousal. Just because it happens for men at the same time doesn't mean it happens for women at the same time. Sexual arousal for a lot of women is a reaction to more than just physical aspects. Men need to pop up for women as people before they become sexual ob…

There can be underlying reasons for people to be fat. Then its not just "you need to eat less" it is also "you need to figure out what is making losing weight more difficult for you". Sometimes you actually need to get to the root and not just blame it on them. Making people feel shit about themselves usually doesn't help them lose weight.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 06:55 PM

True. AI isn't really good with that. But again. I don't think one date is enough to really zoom in on the issues and everything. It would have to be a whole package deal over multiple dates and situations with almost a team behind it doing a proper analysis of how to improve. And that would be incredibly expensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 05:36 PM
2

I guess the closes thing is a dating coach but they aren't really doing the dating properly. And then again it would need to be very very vague because not every woman is the same. You can only correct so many things. This is why you kind of need a "trial partner" to really figure that out and that is almost like sugar dating at that point. Ohhh. I wanna be a bit more dystopian hypothetical! How about we introduce a relationship test. Like a drivers license. Everyone get a robo partner that teaches you how to properly behave in a relationship and at the end of that phase you get a evaluation and a score. If you fail you have to improve. If you pass you are allowed to date humans. And even if you pass you get like recommendations how to improve. Almost like they used to do back in the day when you were supposed to learn how it is to…

Men still don't understand that womens arousal is different than mens. For women there needs to be a baseline of attraction to feel open to further engage with a man. The baseline is actually pretty easy to pass. But the baseline doesn't trigger arousal. Womens attraction is holistic instead of just visual. Attraction is a combination of multiple aspects of a person instead of just the visual. Women are less objectifying than men. So while a woman can walk through her life and even think "he is …

Good job 👍
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 04:17 PM

Yep. When the industrial revolution happend they promised people they would need to work less at same income. It was predicted we were supposed to work 4 hours a day. When women started working to gain more independence wages stayed the same or even got lower in jobs women were doing predominantly. Everything else got more expensive. Government keep cutting social funding to give it to corporations as tax cuts in the name of capital and economy. Its all a scam. Capitalism is a scam. And people s…

😂 the first time I saw a webcam video of my husband I thought "oh god" because he had longer hair and a unkempt longer beard. That was right after his mother died (which I didn't knew at that point). Then we had a video call. He had freshly cut hair and his beard was trimmed. And I was like "oh!". Then I met him in person after we had already talked for a while and I was instantly in love with him.

They don't recognise it as an issue. They assume women are the same. This is why they feel so weird when women actually ask questions during a date. They feel like they are in an interview when women just are interested in them as people. This is why they try to reduce womens interest in them as just into finances. If women aren't as shallow the same way they are, they have to be shallow in a different way.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 12:45 PM
10

They don't care if they don't like women as people. They like their bodies. Thats it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 12:41 PM
6

Yeah. We did a lot of that back in the day in really big chat room for your area. You got to talk a lot with lots of people. Then if you hit it off you went to private chat rooms. And only after a long ass time people would shyly ask for a pic. Because it wasn't as normalised as it is today to share photos of yourself on the Internet. With my husband it was mostly luck tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 11:29 AM
14

I wouldn't wait until the first date. But this is how my husband and I met. We didn't know what the other looked like when we started talking to each other. We only got to know that after we already talked for a while. But we didn't wait to share what we looked till we met irl. If this is something that most people would do? Probably not.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 11:22 AM

Personally I think everyone should have everything to survive without "having to work" for it. The idea that you need to pay for things you need to survive is still horrible to me. Survival shouldn't be dependent on what you can provide for society. I want to do things that make me feel like I am adding to society. But it shouldn't be the basis for my Survival. I wish humans were further evolved at this point but alas... capitalism.

Feminism gave women the chance to refuse men they don't want. Pick up artists turned seduction into a buisness and took the art out of the art to commercialise it. Now it is a paid lesson instead of a acquired skill. Thats why its not as effective anymore. Then the PUAs ramped it up to love bombing. And now everyone has their shields up to seduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 06:31 AM

Thats not a way to balance that out. "If you get pregnant, I will not infringe on your rights" is coercion.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 05:10 AM

Tell the woman you are dating that in case of having a child you expect a paternity test. Do that before you get married and have children. Just put it as a boundary before it gets serious. Its in the same kind of breath of "do you want to have children?". Its a compatibility test for the person you are dating. Simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 07:15 PM
1

Same with discrimination. Most men and women don't want to discriminate against single women. So yay!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:48 PM
2

Like raping women and children.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:39 PM

And men are still murdering women even if it is against the law.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:26 PM
2

Discrimination based on gender is against the law. For a good reason as we see in this conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:21 PM
2

Thats not incentives. That punishments and isolation. Incentives are supposed to add to your life, not give you the same freedom and opportunity as someone else. On that alone you aren't actually advocating for incentives. You are advocating for discrimination.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:13 PM

How did it work?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:05 PM

You think non single women would go against single women despite women having a higher ingroup bias? Also how is antagonising single women making it more likely for them to couple up? We already had that before when women were shamed for being old cat ladies and shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:58 PM
2

You know that women also have buisnesses? Are part of corporations? Sit in HR? Surprisingly men aren't the only working people. Would you be okay if women behaved the same way then?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:40 PM
4

Something like that. Women tend to be held to an imaginary standard that for some reason is only there to make men feel good about themselves but completely ignores womens comfort 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:30 PM
2

Correct. Which is why I keep advising guys on here not to settle for women that aren't enthusiastic about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:22 PM

Ah okay. Thats cool then. Doesn't actually have any negative impact on womens lives then. Cool cool

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 04:55 PM

Okay. Good that you know your standards 👍
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 02:52 PM

Would making out, quick texts and telling you how hot you are be enough?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 02:43 PM
3

Do you think its possible that women that don't instantly have sex just want to check if you actually want to do these things too instead of only doing the sex part?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 02:29 PM
1

Yeah. I think we are moving more into purity culture again where open display of sexuality isn't really seen anymore. I blame social media. Nowadays people don't feel as free anymore to express themselves because everything is always filmed and uploaded for the world to see. And then everyone is cringe and judgey about it. Thats so disappointing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 02:27 PM
4

Then why should any woman even want a relationship when its only about sex and telling each other how hot they are. Thats not a relationship imo. Thats just fuckbuddies. Which is fine. If thats what you are looking for. Most women actually want a little bit more out of a relationship than only sex.

Can you answer the other question too?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 02:14 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 01:52 PM

The percentage of relationships that happen without desire is very small nowadays. At least in liberal spaces. I know that does happen in more conservative spaces. Which is why its always confusing to me that a lot of men seem to want more "traditional" wifes when the norm was that the desire wasnt actually present but duty was on the forefront. Although thinking about that. 🤔 now it actually makes sense why so many conservative men are trying to be with more liberal women and also try to hide t…

You think it makes me look guilty because of your own assumption that the only thing men could be more useful for is financial provision. And then you tried to attack me by calling me a misogynist. /r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 01:17 PM
1

Its not my responsibility that you pull random conclusions that I didn't state. And its very misandrist to assume men are only good for financial provision. Especially in a time when don't actually need men to provide for them anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 01:08 PM
2

True. You keep negotiating during your relationship. But the baseline that is established should still be the baseline unless there are extraordinary circumstances that prevent the baseline that was compromised on with both people that entered the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 01:03 PM
1

I never talked about money. You are reinforcing traditional gender roles by assuming men should be financially useful. Your assumptions turn it into misandry by assuming the only thing men are providing in a relationship is financial.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 12:59 PM

Yep. Which is why you need to be honest about your habits early on instead of pretending. You can only compromise on what is presented to you.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 12:54 PM

If you respect your partner and want to protect them and their peace, everyone should be able to compromise on certain things in a relationship. But this is also part of vetting a partner. If you are dating someone that lives like a pig, red flag. If you are dating someone thats not enthusiastic about you, red flag. Thats why you shouldn't pretend to be someone during dating and then just completely drop off once you feel you secured them. Show up where you are. Let both people compare notes abo…

I think that mindset is shrinking more and more. When I grew up I was raised to think being single is a failure. I was asked at 14 if I had a boyfriend yet. I know this mindset is still prevalent somewhat and especially men feel something is wrong with them for being single, but I also think we are moving away from that. Which is good. I disagree about the lying. People need to respect when other people don't want to do stuff for them. I do agree with the "why are you dating her, if you aren't interested?". At that point it seems equal. He wants to use her for her body, she wants to use him for his body. Both are wrong.

And I think daring shouldn't be done on the consent of women because I am dealing with life long trauma of people that dared.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 03:54 PM
1

They do not. Because we have studies and polls that show a lot of men dont understand SA as SA if you call it that. But if you describe the actions they will agree they are doing that. I see that all the time "I'm a good guy. I would never force a woman to have sex with me!" Then when you describe coercion: "well that's just normal dating".
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:44 PM
0

I used your words. Read your own comment and think about what you wrote. When a woman is afraid I'm not going to like her because <<insert random unfounded insecurity here>> I don't back off.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:41 PM
3

Great. We agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:16 PM

"I am not dangerous" says the guy that also insists that you need to push womens boundaries for your own happiness. Its funny how you call women neurotic and that they make stuff up one sentence after you declared you arent dangerous but also dont let anyone's silly little opinion stand in the way of your happiness. That is exactly what people say that don't respect boundaries and bodily autonomy. Congrats.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:15 PM
1

Again. Look at the comments. It is the same guys! They keep saying that keep saying they can't even talk to a woman anymore without being accused of SA. So apparently it is just all men and women that need to learn about enthusiastic consent so no one is confused anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:11 PM
1

Even dating. If she isn't enthusiastic she isn't it. Again. Women need to learn to actually show interest instead of hiding behind plausible deniability. We all need to work together to change this bs behaviour so no one has an excuse anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:09 PM
1

And often if you do push like that you get rewarded, but if you don't push at all you always lose out. Thats the issue. They push and afterwards they are offended they get accused of SAing a woman. Men need to learn not to accept ambiguity and women need to learn that ambiguity hurts other women. Yes this is a issue for both genders. Thats why advocating for "enthusiasts yes" is so important. No grey zones no victims.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 01:53 PM
1

If men understood consent they wouldn't argue that approaching a woman would paint them as SA perpetrators. Have you seen the comments I got on here? Men being afraid of being falsely accused. There seems to be a complete disconnect between approaching someone and violating their consent. It is the same guys that say they are worried about being painted as a perpetrator. If they don't know the difference between hello and grabbing a crotch then there is obviously an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 01:51 PM
1

They are confused about the details. You can see that in a lot of studies and polls. Everytime a poll uses the words rape or sexual assault, men are deeply offended and pearl clutch just to say they aren't that type of guy. As soon as you don't use the words but rather just describe the actions that are happening they go "oh yeah, I do that". I don't know why you think we shouldn't keep having these conversations when it is obviously there is a serious disconnect of understanding of consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 12:12 PM

And there we go. Any unwanted touch is played down as "minor annoyance" this is exactly the excuse making I am criticising because this mindset has an effect into any situation. It is really disgusting how normalised it is to just bulldoze over bodily autonomy just because you can't be bothered to respect your partner. I see that all the time. And it gets downplayed with coercion up to sexual assault and rape. I'm not saying every couple has to ask everytime for consent for touch if they actuall…

Seeking consent is not idiotic. Thats what people say that don't respect bodily autonomy. Then they make excuses when their partners are tired of being groped. You'd be suprised with how many many I had to have conversations about consent and bodily autonomy. The fact that I still have to debate about this shows me education has not gone far enough. And many women are complaining about being constantly touched by their partner without their consent. That is one of the reasons women with a low libido cite as a source for their decline in libido. All of that are excuses. This idea that women dont have autonomy and need to be coddled and bargained with to settle for men they aren't excited about needs to stop. If there is no reciprocity there shouldn't be a relationship. I also think it would be good for 100% of men to not approach. Because then women can stop being burned out from this. The idea that you think women want to constantly interrupted by random men do reproduce is really funny to me.

I got a good man because I approached him. If men would stop hounding women constantly this would happen much more often because women wouldn't be burned out from this bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 09:02 PM

Okay. Again. Nobody forces men to approach anyone. Its saver for everyone if men leave women alone anyway.

Women already approach the men they want. Guys always pretend like thats never happening. And consent isnt depending on many factors. Thats just an excuse predators use. But I agree if men can't respect boundaries and are afraid of being falsely accused. Just leave women alone and wait for them to approach.

Im not just talking about 🍇 here. I'm also just talking about not respecting boundaries, not taking no for an answer and coercion. These aren't irrational fears because they are a very common occurrence. Which is why I find it so funny that the men here in the comments are all like "either I am allowed to SA a woman or I won't say hello anymore". I'm not suprised consent is such a difficult concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 06:06 PM

That sounds like a revenge fantasy of how women deserve to be abused because they didn't settle for someone else. You are aware that abuse can come from any man? Even a short, fat, hairless, dirty, jobless guy. And if she actually leaves "she is not worth it! Women initiate the majority of divorces!". So either a woman stays in a relationship and is abused and its her own fault for not getting the ick, she leaves and she is used, she leaves and she doesnt value commitment and leaves because of e…

I love how we always go from pushing boundaries, grey areas fo "women have a low chance of 🍇". As if only that counts as grey area. But you are right. Not dating is always an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 05:02 PM

I have pushed boundaries. My friends have pushed boundaries. We hold each other accountable and learn and become better. This is why I consistently ask my husband for consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 05:00 PM
-1

If men dont understand consent then its better if they dont approach. And apparently no one on here does because I get the same replies over and over how good men dont risk approaching. Good men understand rejections and boundaries. That doesnt mean you can't say hello to someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:51 PM
1

Women are actually talking in more detail. How do you think we know that men keep violating boundaries? Women are very honest about this shit. But of course no guy has ever heard any of his friends do anything boundary pushing. Suprising how many women experience that and how many men online acknowledge they do it but no man ever knows one of them irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:50 PM
-1

Again. Why is "saying hello" always the same on here like sexually assaulting someone? We are talking about consent. Accepting a rejection. Why is it this all or nothing thinking of "either I can 🍇 this woman or I wont even say hello".
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:47 PM
3

No. Men do not actually say they raped someone. But they talk about what they do with women. Ask follow up questions. Don't just high five a guy when he said he had sex.

Why do you even want to know any answer then from me if my opinion doesnt matter anyway to you? You already said I'm just a woman with a opinion not up to the norm. I am invalid already so even if I gave you any more answers they would be invalid unless you just wanted to cherry picking from my opinions. You have ended the conversation this way. Have a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:14 PM

Why is accepting a "no" and not pushing boundaries the exact same thing as "approaching women"? Can guys not separate between "hello" and sexually molesting a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:11 PM
1

I know. Women are choosing better. And men are losing to nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 04:02 PM
2

Good. Then you dont need to worry about women at all. But its hilarious how much men think they know why women enjoy these stories and the result is just: because it revolves around a man. And a woman actually says something its always handwaved with "no, thats not what women want and say, thats not true". I am not suprised to see dating go down the drain.

Do you think the millionaire vampire doesn't come with dangers? Thats the point that makes it exciting. The same way driving the bank heist car. You get the excitement from the fantasy. True. Personally I think universal income should be a thing and shelter, food, water and clothing should also be provided from society to everyone because without it we are dying. Even if someone doesn't add to society they should still be able to survive. But I also think that if someone adds to society via a job, parenthood, protecting society, etc. They should have an extra compensation on top of basic needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 01:31 PM

Its not irrelevant. It doesn't matter if a single parent put themselves into that position on purpose or not. As a parent they are still providing more for society than a NEET. Thats like trying to compare a soldier that signs up for war to a NEET.

Yes its different. Men and women experience different consequences from certain themes and even just the medium itself. Sexual function goes up for women and down for men with porn use. Partnered sexual satisfaction has almost no impact on women with frequent porn use compared to men. It seems men are having issues with using sexual content while it has a more positive impact on women. The themes might not even play much of a role itself but it seems obvious that there is a correlation between m…

I feel like there should be a alternative for that for women. Like a OG tumblr knockoff. It just can't devolve into typical porn websites. Then its just overrun by men again. Thats not visual. Thats objectifying. The bouncing still needs to be aesthetically pleasing to me in more than just watching bodies in motion. Ive seen men online ask how to get rid of their libido. The issue is that a lack of libido tends to be a side effect of medication and you can't always pick and choose which side effects you get. I've seen men in sexless marriages recommend ssri's for that. The downside of that is that a lot of things in the body tend to play together. The same for women. Thats why women tend to get prescribed hormonal therapy when they are in their menopause (which can influence the libido too). There isn't rea…

Why is changing standards the same as lowering them? Just because you liked vanilla ice cream the most in your life doesn't mean your taste changing to chocolate ice cream makes one better than the other. They are both ice cream. They are both equal. They just taste different.

Most of the time I see that happen its not because the woman waits to lock down the man. But they were already struggling with effort, emotional intimacy and sex before they get married and both assume getting married will fix it. When it doesnt. These are imo the most delusional people. I personally just don't like the way he phrased it as "wasting his time". But I like that he was honest and it was the best approach. Women should be grateful for this instead of arguing about coercion. There might be some pushback but this is actually the way to go. "Only yes means yes". No grey areas. Women and men need to learn that.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 05:11 AM

Gear shift is a good metaphor for it. I always knew I didn't want kids so for me that wasn't the case. But I have seen how it is affecting other women. I do feel sorey for the ones that try to go hard for it but can't make it work. It is a little death when that dream actually dies. Then they have to grief that dream and recalibrate from something they thought would happen for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:29 PM

A lot of women know early on what they want in life. The question is usually to find the right partner to get there. Its less of a sudden realisation but more of the feeling of a dream starting to slip away and there is more urgency. Its a bit like when people get into a midlife crisis because they suddenly realise they aren't as fit anymore as they used to so they want to fulfil some things they thought they still have time for.

Social indoctrination. I hope at some point we can all move on from this fantasy of a "dream wedding". There is this idea that there is this big beautiful princess like party. A lot of women want to be a princess, at least for a day. We don't really have reasons to wear these over the top fantasy dresses and have this magical day. Yes it is selfish to not really think about the men in that. The marriage itself tends to be just a thing a lot of people assume will just figure itself out. I think w…

As if thats is different from women. The majority of men that sexually assaulted anyone never spends a day in jail. Men are consistently and constantly getting away with it. Even if they are found guilty they can still become the president.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:44 PM

The majority of sexual violence committed against men is by other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:33 PM

Men are comitting sexual violence against women. All the time. I can absolutely blame men for that. Womens are responsible for their own financial wellbeing and they are doing that. Its not like there is a epidemic of women robbing men of their money. While there is sexual violence committed against women everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:25 PM

They dont like women though. They only like what women provide for them. Thats not liking thats using. Thats why so many men are advocating for taking away womens equality. They want to force them to be usable to them again.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:16 PM
2

With the difference that women dont try to date men anymore. Men are still doing that even though they dont care about the women they try to date. If men are left behind why would women need them anymore?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:35 PM

The song and dance isn't because they care about women. They want to win them. Like a trophy. Thats not caring thats just competing in the hopes to succeed. A minority of men actually truly cares about their partners. But sure. If we talk about averages that probably makes most men average. Thats just not good enough for the majority of women anymore.

I think this is a bit backwards. A man integrated in society is usually social and will find a partner. You dont need to have a partner to be integrated in society. Into certain parts of society? Sure. Parents are more likely to hang out with parents and so on. If you feel you need to be in a relationship to be approved by society you have some work to do with your own perception of your value as a human. This is a job a lot of men are not doing. They are trying to suppliment their feeling of be…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 08:27 AM

I was commenting on your comment. Not the post itself. Thats why I asked you specifically about your comment instead of in the context of what the average man does. Men that don't care about their partners aren't even average. They are below average.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 08:18 AM

Then men that don't care about their partners comfort and preferences will face the consequences and will not be partners anymore. It is the entire point. I wouldn't want to be together with someone that doesnt respect me enough to pay attention to what I care about and how they can make me feel loved and cherrished. At that point a relationship is not worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 07:44 AM

Why would a woman want to be with a man that doesn't care about something that is important to her? Even if I don't care I still make an effort to make my partner happy.

I would take Hasan and Vaush and stuff more as political commentator too. If we are looking at genderwar peeps we have to probably go even smaller with people like willhitchins, Professor_neil, thespeechprof and people like that. Thats the ones I would count more on gender commentators.

Tbf anything that you personally never experienced is very hard to actually imagining properly. We all think our empathy would be enough to make us able to identify with someone but unless we all at some point get to upload our brains into a computer and really share all our feelings and experiences there will always be a part of your brain that dismisses someone's elses reality if you are completely removed from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:49 PM

I mean. Yeah. Unless we are actually talking statistics most of the stuff on here is anecdotes and anecdotes are based on personality and gender and all of these traits that turn you into who you are. Thats just how our world view forms.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:39 PM

The ones that I follow have a mix with mostly leaning towards calling out the gender war bs. I follow also some political commentators but they are much less likely to comment on gender war stuff. Everyone is a bit in their own niche when it comes to this stuff

They do. Usually thats the kinds of system that is setup outside of courts. It only goes to courts if the men tries to fight it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:49 PM

Progressive influencers mostly spend their time debunking the bs that manosphere influencers are shouting. They dont sell stuff (except if they are psychologists or something, then maybe they will try to sell a book or something). And most of their audience is female anyway. Men usually just call them white knights, traitors, BBs and gay in the comments. They are mostly reaction influencers and not promoting some dating course or something.

Even full custody could be an issue. Unless they are actually fully no contact and most mothers will probably not do that because a lot of moms bond pretty strong to their offspring. Thats why they are doing most of the child rearing anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:35 PM

The average child support payment in the U.S. is approximately $430 to $441 per month and about 30% of parents who are owed child support payments receive nothing. So the child support stuff is not true. Children are very expensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:25 PM
2

Kind of yes. But the issue is that mothers of the children will be charged if they dont protect the children from neglect or abuse by the father. So either she abandons her child and might be liable for what happens to the children and is looked at as a dead beat or the child gets raised by potential strangers that are also potentially neglectful/abusive and mom is still on the hook. The best case scenario would be a dedicated father with a whole village and the mom having the children sometimes…

Its not really about value. Its about flexibility. Men are amazing when it comes to following a certain order. Their level of tolerance to absolute horrible conditions is pretty high. They are stronger, dont catch as much health issues, dont have to compensate for a complicated hormonal system. The issue is that women were used on every front that was necessary. /r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:38 AM

Your issue is that you fall outside the expected norm because the expected norm is the overwhelming majority. Thats the actual issue. If more men would embrace who they actually are that wouldn't be an issue

1

Are all the woman you meet taller?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:34 AM

If 90% of men are conforming themselves to traditional masculinity then obviously that will look like women are attracted to that. You dont really have much of a choice at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:30 AM
3

I hope most people would let go of that with time and just enjoy their sex life. Then I see some stuff on rhe marriage subreddit where that still pops up even a decade into a marriage. Thats always wild to me
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:28 AM

Maybe its unlucky that you are
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:25 AM

Im not disagreeing that there are women that are attracted to a certain type. I am disagreeing that all men need to be the same to attract all woman. Men shoot themselves in the foot with that. If more men would live more authentic and individual then we wouldn't even have the issue of defining masculinity as a certain thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:24 AM
2

Because most men stuff themselves in a box anyway. And again. I was told on here multiple times that my husband is a BB and that I am not attracted to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:18 AM
1

I am actually taller than my husband in heels. But I also very rarely wear heels. I think the height thing is overblown
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:16 AM
1

So you don't have preferences. Good. There we go. And yes. Most women just want someone taller than them generally. And on average men are taller than women anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:58 AM
2

So obese is a extreme deformity. With defining things like that you could just exclude whatever as extreme deformity. And no. My husband is my height. Although some days is a bit taller than me because of a birth defect in his back.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:49 AM
2

So you would feel attracted to a 50 y.o obese woman with shaven head, crooked teeth, dyed armpit hair. The same way as a 20 y.o gym rat with long natural hair?

You can see that in a lot of comment sections of men that dont perform this stereotypical masculinity in ANY small way. I saw a reel of a American that moved to germany. She explained that she had to inform the school that her daughter was riding her bike home after school and made sure she had a special permission for that in america. She said in germany that is just normal that kids go to and from school alone and that nobody bats an eye. It blew my mind that that isn't a normal experience for children.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 10:07 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 09:48 AM

I think I read a thing before where some scientists talked about a 7 year monogamy thing. Because that is the age in which children become pretty self sufficient without their parents having to keep taking care of them. Which is why a lot of relationships seemed to die on the 7 year hill bump. That was interesting too.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 09:28 AM

I think most of these things are not gendered and more based on peoples personalities. The issue is that a lot of people aren't honest about themselves and who they are and what they actually want. They still follow certain expectations set by society instead of honestly reflect on what they truly want. Then they end up in situations where they are miserable and drag others down too. I think some people are made for long term relationships. They enjoy the commitment and security. And some people…

Tbf. Women have tried to do the same objectification thing too. It just never took off as the way men do it. I think most of these are an attempt in revenge when women do it. The whole "pencil vs. Pencil sharpener, loaded gun, atm, etc" thing. The objectification of men isnt as prevalent for women as it is for men. This is why the objectification game is fun

I think the complete system is broken. Thats the point. The industrial age promised less work. AI promised to replace peoples labour. Instead we created a lot of useless labour and made everything overcomplicated so we could pay someone to live. A system that runs on consistent growth in a finite world is not working and we are already seeing the consequences of that. I'm just realistic about it. This reminds me of this one study where they asked men and women who talk more. Men were absolutely 💯 certain women talk more in conversations. Women said it was about equal. Most of this comes down to a certain imprinted mindset of entitlement and privilege. They saw that decades ago a man only had to work a job and that guaranteed him access to a womans body. They think it is an unfair change of their own living standard that this is not the case anymore. This is what centuries of forced coupling up and patriarchy does to us. Its similar still for some women. Some women still think the man should be the provider for her lifestyle and she offers access to her body. …

If its not weaponised, or just pure refusal as a rebellion, then it is at least a clear incompatibility and these people shouldn't be together anyway. All of these scenarios point in that direction and its a coward move to make the demanding partner break the relationship up.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 06:59 PM
1

If you are not doing something just because then its not weaponised incompetence and you are debating again a preference and not the actual topic of this thread.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 06:10 PM

That is weaponizing incompetence. He is rebelling the demands he accepted by pretending
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 06:04 PM

He decides to accept something that he disagrees with and acts passive agressive with weaponised incompetence.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:50 PM

Then he shouldn't complain and just accept the consequences of his decisions. Some accountability isn't too much to be expected.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:33 PM
1

Then they both need to have a honest conversation instead of rebel.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:19 PM
1

Resisting the demands by pretending to be incompetent is still rebelling like a teenager. Honesty should be the baseline in a adult relationship instead of trying to avoid confrontation like that. Thats how relationships end in resentment. It is counter productive to relationships to try to "rebel".
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:02 PM
1

It is dismissing the premise as dramatic
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:57 PM

And you argue it is used as a way to rebel
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:57 PM

Do you regularly rebel in a situation you think is unreasonable by pretending to be incompetent?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:48 PM
1

This is quite the first world problem. Some people in this world actually have struggles with real dangerous circumstances This is not a genuine reason or even a proper response to any debate in a debate subreddit. This is dismissive and derailing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:45 PM

Because you are just arguing the point of avoidance again. Who rebels in a relationship? Thats not how adults should behave.

You were questioning if they are disagreeing with the frequency and thats why they are pretending
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:15 PM

So dismissing someones concerns is perfectly fine because other people have bigger issues? Yeah thats going to go well with a partner. Thats how you end up with a divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:10 PM
1

If they aren't malicious then its not weaponised incompetence. Same as a woman that might be awkward during sex and only wants it once a month when the guys wants it everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:07 PM
1

Same with cleaning. And the frequency is subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:01 PM

So again. We are back at the point where a woman can just pretend she is bad at sex and make excuses because she disagrees with the frequency of sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:57 PM

Not likely. The conversation itself plays no role in the argument. It has no effect on the action of weaponised incompetence
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:55 PM

There is nothing in the term that suggest a discussion has happend before either.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:52 PM

Weaponised incompetence happens when someone doesn’t even voice their disagreement with their partner but rather just pretend they are incapable of doing it so they dont have to. Its the cowards way to avoid actually saying they disagree with the thing because then they would actually have to have a conversation. Weaponised incompetence is conflict avoidance by pretending to be incapable
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:51 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:16 PM

The issue is the playing dumb part. How would you feel if your gf had lots of sex before you got together, even had sex with you while you were together and at some point just says "you know? You are so much better at making yourself orgasm with your own hand. I dont know what I am doing" or intentionally makes every session absolutely bad and then says she has no idea how to improve just so you give up? Are you okay with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:14 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:11 PM

Where would the line of ridiculous be? Isn't that also subjective? Maybe she thinks him demanding once a month is objectively ridiculous.

Absolutely. Because your argument is that if women expect men to do things that any functioning adult should do it will lead to absurd situations where someone is asked to vacuum 35 times. Thats just a bad faith argument you are trying to push to ridicule reasonable requests.

Thats an article.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:49 PM

You got a study on that? As far as I know sex in general lowers cortisol and not a specific sex act.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:44 PM
5

So what? Then everyone needs to learn to respect no. Its a good lesson at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:41 PM

Clutter does can cause a cortisol spikes. Prolonged high cortisol has detrimental effects on people health.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:40 PM
7

You can't outsource everything to children and machines. Thats not how households work (yet). And again. Just because you dont care doesn't mean it has no effect on the health of your partner. Thats like arguing that you dont care if your partner has allergies to nuts and yet you keep cooking with nuts because you dont care about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:38 PM
2

Because you are debating in bad faith by using Reductio ad absurdum
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:34 PM
7

There is biological aspects on why clutter and dirt are a bigger issue for women than for men. Clutter causes cortisol spikes in women which stresses them out and dirt can cause stronger immune responses in women because of our immune system. If men really wanted to provide and protect the way they keep claiming they would make sure to prioritise and respect womens health.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:31 PM
7

You can just say "no" without insulting someone. Maybe men need to learn too that "no" is a full sentence instead of just lying to save face
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:27 PM
6

So lying is better?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:19 PM

Just say no. Why do you act like an idiot instead of using your words and clear communication?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:10 PM

Toddler brain makes it even worse than weaponised incompetence. The amount of women that dont want to have sex with toddlers is probably pretty high. With weaponised incompetence you can at least argue they are adult enough to have a tactic. Still the same outcome though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:04 PM
2

If the whole debate comes back to "its just luck" then there is no winning, no debate and it is just distraction. Which tbf I am doing too but I usually like a little more substance in my debates than "divine intervention". Anyway. Have a nice workday.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 09:41 AM
2

If its all luck at this point why even the discussion about morals at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 09:31 AM
2

Maybe men need to do more target audience research instead of doing AWALT to get the results they want. A lot of people suggest when it comes to dating to pick a niche based on your own hobbies, morals and values. Thats a typical BP advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 09:16 AM
4

Then men need to stop viewing women as a hive mind and actually ask the women they want to date instead of all women. If they want to date women that are okay with dating serial killers they need to ask them about their morals instead of assuming all women think the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 09:05 AM
2

Depends on the people. This is where my husband and I also divert. I am pro-billionair woodchipper. He doesn't agree with that. And I am sure there are women that are morally even more diverse than that. Depends on a lot of things where your morals come from. I am also anti child harm and would love to see some people punished in certain ways, yet here we are and seeing that this doesn't seem to be a universal moral thing and there are actually a lot of people that protect these kind of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:50 AM
4

I can make compromises on certain things if I want a long term relationship with someone. I am not going to change anything about myself just to appeal to someone. Then they wouldn't be in love with me but with a version I pretend to be. I can't keep up a facade just to make someone like me. I want to be loved for who I am, not for how I pretend to be. Thats just disingenuous. Which is also a thing that gets criticism from everyone. The whole "bait and switch" is never cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:47 AM
1

Morality is subjective though. Just because I find something morally bad doesn't mean everyone else agrees. Thats not even a gendered thing. We do have laws for the really morally bad things and even these are not even universal and arent even enforced universally. You could ask different people the exact same moral question and would get different answers. Even my husband and I have different moral values on certain thing.

I think my main complaint about this is the size issue. Because murderers and stuff is a very small percentage of the human population. And sure some of them (usually the most prominent of them) have success with women. Thats what? 1%? Men complain when women say "all men" and then bring statistics to proof its not all men. But then they turn around and use that tiny percentage as proof of their own bias? If the 1% of super dangerous men have partners so do the 1% of average and the 1% of morall…

Honest observation isn't hate. You seem very emotional about this topic. Centering your whole life around how to make someone love you is desperation and the fact that a lot of the men that stay unselected even after they centered their whole identity around attracting women and become bitter about it just proofs it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:46 AM

Women are more likely to go to a therapist anyway. I think if this would become a proper profession women would engage in it as much as in normal therapy. And in the beginning of the transition of sex work to health care there should be programmes to incentives people to get the license obviously so they can actually do the work legal. But its fine if you dont want to talk about it anymore. Have a good one.

It doesnt need to be a full doctora degree. There should definitely be a professional training involved with it but it doesnt necessarily need to be to the full standard of a doctor. But if we put it on a similar level as social workers, physical therapists, etc. And we really punish anyone doing the job without proper licensing that would help getting rid of the black market and make the profession saver for people engaging in it. And as I said - even women might feel more comfortable going to …

I am actually having a conversation with someone about the right to refuse further in the comments of this comment here. I compared sex workers to therapists and we are talking about why for instance in the UK therapists can reject a client. I found a website where a therapist listed reasons they could refuse a client and the list actually sounds reasonable even for sex workers as health care providers. It is an interesting topic definitely

As therapists, we reserve the right to choose who we work with. The reasons for not working with clients, should never be made on reasons of discrimination, if this would be the case, the therapist is in the wrong profession and is in breach of the code of ethics for the NCH and AfSFH. There may be times when a therapist chooses not to work with a particular client for some of the reasons below, If the therapist feels the clients’ needs are above his/her experience level. We are debating sex work on the bases of the need for sex as a mental health service. Maybe it shouldn't be a way to make quick and easy money because thats a way to create a black market and force people into it. Especially without really looking at the consequences of becoming a sex worker because it is a emergency service. If it is a need and a medical necessity then age shouldn't even matter in that line of work. Otherwise it wouldn't count as a necessity but instead would be a luxury again.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 02:39 PM
1

I think it would actually be a pretty good idea because there are enough people that engage in sex work without a license and a lot of them are forced into it. If this kind of practice could be turned into a legitimate career the crack down on the illegal buisness might be easier. Of course it wont be cheap but if we want to classify it as health care then the provider deserves to be paid a proper wage. Thats the whole point. It might actually be a pretty good idea for men and women tbf. I think…

Are you assuming someone shouldn't be able to refuse a certain treatment just because they are working in a certain field? Thats not even how that works under socialism. Even a GP can refuse you an appointment. If you are in a medical emergency you go to the ER. If you are in a psychological emergency you dont go to a therapist you go to the ER to get immediate medical attention from a psychiatrist. Sex workers wouldn't count as emergency service itself. And I think any service provider should b…

Yes. They dont get paid if they dont take clients. Its that easy. That is the same under any system. Again I can mostly just talk about the german system but here they have a certain amount of clients from the public health insurance they are allowed to take on per month. Before you can go to a therapist you have to get the insurance to agree to therapy. You can get 1 session with a therapist where you get to know each other and then you and the therapist can decide if you want to continue toget…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 01:22 PM

A therapist refusing clients is a good thing. You dont want the wrong therapist for something. If you are dealing with trauma you dont need a therapist that is specialised on phobia. So even under socialist circumstances the therapist is supposed to not just take on any client if they arent convinced they aren't the best qualified to help them. I would expect sex workers to have the same medical integrity instead of just taking on any client.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 01:07 PM
1

Then the first major issue would be fixing the health care system probably for refusing to engage in prevention measurements while simultaneously getting sex work admitted into health care fields with degrees and licenses. Until then debating if sex workers are allowed to reject clients is a bit pointless. Especially because again - therapists are allowed to refuse clients as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 12:54 PM

Doctors can decide what clients they take. Especially therapist can decide what clients they take. If we would look at prostitutes as something along the lines of sex therapists that still allows them to decline clients. The same way doctors for instance can refuse to perform abortions if it is against their own religious beliefs. Health care is a very interesting field when it comes to that. For instance if we look at the American insurance system where the insurance refuses to pay for doctors …

I assume thats where you were going with this. And I kind of agree. I commented on someone else in this thread if sex work would be seen more as health care if it was tied to a official degree and license when it comes to care. Like therapists and nurses and your typical health care providers. I think if people were pushing more for it in a health care provider sense it would be more accepted. Until then it seems more like a house cleaning service which is a luxury.

Most of health care is elderly care which is about dignity and pain management. Anything untreated for too long can become life threatening. So technically yes. But as I said I am also about prevention of deteriorating health. Which is why people go to check ups and stuff.

We generally ban prostitution in many places because it often invites predatory behaviors and trafficking, and because it can be seen as coercive if someone is destitute enough...which is a secondary layer on top of the above that complicates it ethically for many people (especially since the "women's rights" crowd is often on the side of "sex work is great" in the modern paradigm). What I find interesting about this topic is that some people (even in this thread) compare sex work to health care…

Healthcare is a service that is paid for by the society for the people that need it because otherwise they would die. Anything that kills you if you don't get it should be provided for. Men don't have to be anything. But you have to provide something to be a selected partner. If you are seen as a victim you are also seen as incompetent. Which actually only further the need for help and funding. It is a cycle. Women are slowly breaking out of the gender bias of being seen as incompetent victims by taking on more typically defined masculine traits. Dating outside the comfort zone and anxious attachment isnt the same. But I agree that the majority of dating problems come from attachment styles and not gender. You have disproved your own claim in your own reply. You don't want to learn anything. What a fruitless bad faith conversation. Have a good day

Im trying to meet you where you understand the answer. This is why I am asking for an example. Why do you keep refusing if you said you have a clear list of it? I already answered you multiple times and you were dissatisfied. So now I need a clear outline on what answer you expect. That only works if you actually provide an example of how you want to receive information. You stared you have a list. Just give me the list.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:54 AM

Give me an example list of why and how you feel about an activity you enjoy or we will just keep going in circles because obviously you are looking for a very specific answer. It shouldn't be an issue to just write down your list so I can transfer it over to romance books.

Tbf. No matter where you are you will always receive criticism for your stands because there is almost nothing in this world that is 100% accepted as truth. I saw a reel the other day of a guy asking about things that do not generate any kind of debate. I thought saying "the northern lights are pretty" would be uncontroversial. Got a comment from someone saying they are overhyped and ridiculous.

We want things that give us positive emotional stimulation. Thats the whole point. Thats why we do most things in life that are not necessary for our survival. What do women get out of the fantasy? Dopamine and oxytocin. Thats it. That what you get out of these fantasies.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:04 AM

I agree. Although the reason why people with low standards feel like they are more morally good is because they view themselves as the better person and they feel like they are sacrificing themselves to be with someone that doesnt actually enriches their life as long as they get that one thing that they want. People with high standards dont want to settle for someone that doesn't add to their life in multiple ways. It is the fundamental idea of how someone views a relationship and themselves.

I'm glad how many women are taking accountability by completely avoiding relationships ✨️
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 09:26 AM

I agree. Thats why when someone talks about an abusive ex some people's sentiment is "you deserved it for choosing them". You can take accountability and try to avoid abusive partners in the future. That doesn't mean anyone deserves abuse. Accountability is acknowledging and learning.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 08:19 AM

What about that? I still don't understand why this is such a controversial topic for some guys to understand. Men that play war games don't actually want to go to war. They just like exploring the feelings of excitement you get from it. People that play zombie apocalypse games don't want that to actually be a thing. It is the exact same concept. But because women enjoy the simulation suddenly its controversial
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 08:08 AM

It is simulating emotions. That is the answer.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 05:50 AM

It gives them the feeling. It is the fantasy. How does playing call of duty give men the feeling of being a war hero? By simulating it. It is a simulation. Why is that so hard to understand?

This sub is mostly for entertainment tbf. Its just fun to talk about gender bs. And my neurospicy ass actually gets to understand why 30% of men are unhappy about their dating lives and why half of women dont want to be in relationships anymore. Its a bit like going to a zoo. I think men are just bad at communicating what they mean by "sympathy". Because we all use that word but I'm pretty sure they mean something different than what a lot of women would understand when we talk about sympathy. Thats why when there are posts about how "nobody cares about lonely men" and they say they just want sympathy they dont mean what women mean when they talk about sympathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 11:25 AM

Its a fantasy. Women are stimulated more by thought than just visuals. Thats why men watch porn and women read books. And stories have different characters and different plots. The idea that romance books are all the same is very sad.

"You made me do this". This kind of thinking is the excuses abusers use. The way they try to tell their victims "if you were better I wouldn't do this to you". This is a very bad line of argument to go down on. I would not recommend to defend this.

The Ukraine and Russia are feminist states?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 10:26 AM

Yeah. Because the majority of people are stupid and just expect things to be a certain way instead of actually focusing on selecting for it. Which is why men end up in dead bedrooms and with gold diggers and women end up with slobs and man children. Selecting for a long term partner is a skill. Most people only learn that skill way too late when they already have sunken cost fallacy. Then they complain about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 09:14 AM

I am insisting on focusing on the root instead of trying to focus on the results. Because the results will always be the same if the root doesn't get addressed. Thats the whole point. This is like talking about "follow the money". Who profits of the destruction of this planet? Then do something against the root instead of telling individuals to use paper straws to save the environment.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:50 AM

The war being the root doesn't clear the second choice. Yes it does. Without the root the second choice wouldn't even exist. This is an entirely men made issue and you are trying to shift the responsibility towards people that have to deal with the consequences of this man made issue. Do men suffer from it? Yes absolutely. I dont deny that men are suffering from it. This again goes back that men are rather blame the consequences for their own systems on people that have to deal with the conseque…

Again. You are asking a state to sacrifice itself to fight a system that is a world wide issue. This is asking feminists to sacrifice everything because men on power dont want to stop killing each other. Why aren't you against the root of this issue which is the war itself instead of the consequences of this? This boils down to "what was she wearing".
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:08 AM

Again. You are looking at it in a vacuum. Thats not how the world works. You are trying to blame feminists for a system that was build and kept up by men. We would have to overhaul the whole system for it to not affect other areas and thats not what the men in power want. Hate the game not the players.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 07:54 AM

A man started the war in a patriarchal system that men have to suffer in. You are expecting a state to hurt itself by trying to change the world that is run by men. You can call out the hypocrisy but it seems weird to only view it in a vacuum of personal responsibility when its a whole world wide system that is build to support this. Men are more than welcome to change every government into a equal one but the men in power are supported by other men in power because the patriarchy rewards the hi…

A woman in a position of power in a patriarchy has to follow the rules of the patriarchy to be in power. Thats the whole issue of the system that is in place. You only get into power in that kind of system if you play inside of the system.

As long as men are starting wars, men will sacrifice themselves to fight in them. You can't have one feminist state and then assume the whole world is working that way. We would need the whole world to be on the same page to actually have the same rights for everyone. As long as men are starting wars for stupid reasons there is no way for actual equality. Sadness over failure isn't feeling like your owed success. Bitterness is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 05:59 AM

If you are bitter about something not being given to you you feel entitled because you assume you should have it. That is entitlement. You can be sad about not experiencing something without it turning into bitterness. The bitter part is what turns it into entitlement
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 05:48 AM

Getting bitter about not getting it and blaming and insulting strangers and whole groups of people for not providing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 05:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 05:38 AM

Most women assume men are competent adults just to realise thats not the case. Thats why everyone has to learn how to properly prioritise what is important 🤷

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 08:28 PM

My criteria for my partner was "be kind, view me as a friend, endulge in my kinks and sexual preferences". Thats exactly who I married. Women know they can't have everything and a lot of the times they have to compromise on certain things. There is no perfection. What does that have to do with anything? Is nurturing and caretaking compensated like the work men did? No. It was ridiculed and just expected. Women and men now get the same privileges of getting paid for the work they are doing. Thats all women wanted. This is why women had to compete with men and have to compete with men. Because society as a whole does not recognises unpaid labour as labour so women dont want to do it anymore.

The issue with advices like this is that unsuccessful men will try to emulate what they see in porn or read in romance books. Which makes it cringe when they try to play these roles. Playing the part in a believable way means actually portraying it with someone that is attracted to them instead of playing the role for a stranger. If these things feel unnatural to themselves they will feel unnatural to others. Flirting and game is very rarely a "fake it till you make it" situation. At that point …

Its not a sin wanting to be loved. Its a sin getting angry and bitter about not being handed the love you feel entitled to. Thats the difference. I was single for 5 years before I met my husband and I didn't expect to ever be in a relationship again until I met him. In my mind it is: if you are against abortions you just want more children as victims for the epstein class. You want to see children suffer or you actively want to harm children. Which makes you a terrible human being. Watch some of the videos of what these people are doing to children and then tell me again how you are okay with giving them more victims. We know they are having trafficking rings that make children from orphanages disappear.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 11:30 AM

This is a very personal preference. And if you aren't okay with the idea of her NEVER orgasm then that's a deal breaker. You are together long enough to understand this is a pattern. And hoping it would change is unfair to her and to you. You can't force this and you have to make the decision to either be okay with it or it is a deal breaker. Its that simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 09:23 AM

Personally I also dont always orgasm with my husband but he has no issue with it. I still enjoy the sex itself and I get lots out of it. OP said he doesn't enjoy his sex life if his partner doesn't orgasm. At the end of the day it is a incompatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 09:14 AM

She needs to figure this out if she wants that. If she doesn't care about it, he shouldn't try to force it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 08:55 AM

If you are unsatisfied with your sex life if your partner doesn't orgasm then that is a incompatibility. If she says she is happy with your sex life but doesnt orgasm and now you want to change your sex life because she doesn't orgasm that might make her sex life worse. Which is also a incompatibility. Maybe she enjoys the effort you put in but you dont enjoy the effort if it doesn't give you the results you want. This would be a deal breaker for me.

I think its more of an excitement thing than a devotion thing. This is btw not a gendered issue. It also has to do with attachment styles. People that have issues with secure attachment tend to seek more excitement in their relationships to feel fulfilled. I am a millennial and I am aware how blue pilled they are. Its ridiculous to assume looks mean absolutely nothing when it comes to attraction. At that point I am just assuming you are naive if you think that.

Neurodynamic is just what I prefer to use as a term to neurodiverse. Blue pillers say women care about personality but not that its the only thing. Thats just what people hear that think in black and white.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 08:21 AM

Absolutely. This is why I think these blanket statements of "just accept its this" is wrong and misses sooo much nuance.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 08:19 AM

Only because neurodynamic people don't understand nuanced and implied communication. Thats why BP is neurobasic advise. And neurodynamics think it is meant as black and white thinking.

Oxytocin isnt just deployed via long term relationships. You get oxytocin also from petting animals. Try not to downplay the complexity of this topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 07:07 AM

The issue with nature vs nurture is that you can almost never 100% tell which is which. Especially when it comes to sex drives. It depends so much on environment, culture, nutrition, etc. That its hard to make a blank statement about anything. There are obviously biological differences but it is incredibly hard to tell how much any of that actually influences anything. We dont live in a vacuum. Pushing just one "truth" feels too simple for me personally.

I agree with everything except point 1. Because just because you have casual sex doesnt mean your oxytocin receptors are being worn out. They are worn out by anything. They are lower in reception also in relationships so your body isn't responding as strong anymore. Thats what happens when you get out of the honeymoon phase. They also respond to aging which is why older people tend to feel lonlier because oxytocin doesn't hit as hard anymore. So the pair bonding stuff is a bit more complicated t…

At this point you are just cherry picking which actions are supposed to present you and which ones doesn't. Actions are reflections of the person you are. Your words about who you are mean nothing. Let's say you claim to be a generous person. If you dont show that you shouldn't claim that. If a person wants a partner that is generous that has to be reflected in actions somehow. It all comes down to compatibility. And I say that as someone that doesnt care about the money thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:59 PM

So actions dont define who you are? Do you care about body count of a woman?

Consent. The difference is consent. I am absolutely perfectly happy with my husbands sexuality towards me. I encourage it. I embrace it. I love it. A strangers sexuality pushed onto me? Not so much. I dont consent to be part of someone else's sexuality.

There was a content creator that made a series about how men dont wipe their ass properly which results in the brown streaks in their underwear. The men in his comments said that was normal because wiping too much is gay. You see where the issue is with the bare minimum?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 12:54 PM

So hygiene isn't part of your bare minimum or do you automatically count that in attractiveness? Because here we already start to see how if we get a tiny bit into the topic suddenly details about the bare minimum start to become important.

I think it would be more like 1 guy would say that women shouldn't have rights, 2 would kind of agree with him but wouldn't say it out loud themselves, 4 would just say nothing, 2 would grumble something how thats probably not cool to say and 1 would absolutely lay into him what a horrible person he is. The other day a woman on here was complaining how her husband doesn't properly clean the pots and pans. Guys on here told her she needs to divorce and choose better. There we go. "Choose better".
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 07:00 AM

Thats what happens when you make someone responsible for the failing of others. If women complain about a certain behaviour of men the advice is always "choose better". Of course this raises the bar infinitely. I dont understand why that is suprising.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 06:43 AM

Both are just viewing a woman as a means to an end. They dont see women as humans but as a product they can get by certain ways. Anyone that sees another human as that is just bad.

Then you just get into whataboutism and that also doesnt help. The pink tax isnt just about the exact same product marketed for men and women. The pink tax is also products that only women have to buy like female hygiene products which men dont have to. Why should women care if men call women hoes and whores, right? Because men have a history of violence against women especially the ones they deem unworthy. This is why comparing men's expression of frustration and womens expression of frustration isnt the same. Women that are frustrated with men avoid men. Men that are frustrated with women still want to use women. If the women said "a man that makes me feel good" then they would also be talking about an internal feeling, but they say "good men…

Then why are men complaining about the women that chase criminals (who are definitely drama) when they say they want peace? Why do they care? Taste is different than the definition of a social system. Although you need to have a certain understanding for everything to be able to communicate your thoughts properly. I am confused what is supposed to be done about "mixed signals in the context of dating"? I could denounce that hypocrisy is an issue and most people are hypocrites at some point or another. We have examples of that all the time. "Do as I say, not as I do" comes to mind. It happens on every single scale of human interaction. Not sure how that is connected to cops and systemic policing. That's it, it's that simple But you also said to have adult conversations about things that someone isn't okay with. That was my point. Do you have a specific line from where it turns from "adult conversation" to "buzz heads and looking to argue"?

Friends has 10 seasons and aired for 10 years. Should be enough material to recognise how shitty he was. It also had millions of people talking and comparing notes on him. Maybe people should come with reviews and ratings.

I dont know why you are responding to me so agressive when I am asking follow up questions. Especially when you didn't even answer my original question properly. Because I asked what a woman is supposed to do and you answered with things she is not supposed to do. Since you couldn't answer properly I have to work around to understand how that works. What do you expect when you arent properly replying to the things I ask. I will then have follow up questions. You are also replying to things that …

I am responding in good faith. I am asking follow up questions. So if you pay her rent she should not complain about anything in the relationship? What if you dont pay her rent and dont buy her stuff or is that just something that you are automatically doing in a relationship?

Its so funny how people are defending Ross. He was one of the prototype nice guys that men always made fun of and he turned into the beta bux simp that RP made fun of. He was a walking red flag parade. He was a exhausting character. Is the bar really that low nowadays?

Isn't the second paragraph kind of contradicting the first one? If she tells you things she is not happy with isnt that kind of egotistical and argumentative?

Maybe because I don't connect sex and loneliness with each other. You can have either. But I do know that if you refuse to acknowledge that the other gender even feels loneliness, which can be translated into "othering" the other gender, it can easily turn into objectification which has historically roots in pretty brutal practices in medicine. Which people even nowadays still suffer the consequences from.

Which topic? Loneliness of men vs women or how I use generalisations? Because you were the first one to derail the topic.

I see. Frustration it is. I hope you feel better now.

I saw the post. I read the post. I commented how this line of thinking has historical implications and how it has already affected people in the past. You came in and tried to make it personal.

Do you want me to actually engage in your ragebait or do you just want to write out your frustration to make yourself feel better?

Do you actually have anything to say to my points or do you just want to try to do a "waahh but you use generalisations!"? Have you seen me make a thread that says "men can't even begin to understand what real lonliness feels like"?

Can you be less generic? Is she just sitting on your sofa doing nothing so she doesnt rock the boat? What actions is a woman supposed to do to make you feel the way you want to feel in a relationship?

Did we move on from "women arent straight" to "women dont feel emotions"? These kinds of lines of thinking turn women into "others" which makes it easer to not view them as humans, which makes it easier to use violence against them. This is the same kind of line of logic medicine used for POC and women. The idea that they "don't feel pain" was a wide spread issue for the longest time.

How would you say a woman provides stability and makes your life easier? What are the actions that make you feel that way?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
