Actually according to him further down in the thread (hard to see since all his post got downvoted by women calling him "selfish") there's no kids and a prenup that limits spousal support to one year. If he doesn't live in a community property state he might be in a decent position here.

I am a Civil Engineer. I spend all day in a cushy office designing shit using CAD. Then legions of other men go out into the field and build my creations. Sometimes I supervise them. It's godlike. Tons of math, tons of science, four years of shit work after you graduate followed by a grueling 8-hour test. Decent pay, but not what you'd make in finance/striking it rich with a tech startup. The hours can be long. But it's a good fucking feeling.
