Lol. Right. She just my kid's mom(never married), too, but, I guess, yes, you're still, correct, too. I'm just saying she thinks I'm going to get stuck with every other weekend instead of alternating weeks when he's not even school age, yet.

It's teaching me , through emdr, what trauma in my past have cause' me to be with this type of person. How I attracted this personality type to me unconsciously due to my traumatic experiences and how to heal those past experiences, now, going forward. How I control none of the overwhelming things happening now through suggesting meditation, adamantly (which I do daily, now), and I try to journal, now, as often as I remember. Hr vehemently suggests prioritizing sleep and exercise. . . which I do…

I know my docs gonna say I don't need it. The benefits sound like something that would be great right now though.

Yeah, basically. Forgive my ignorance. Does it not work that way in my position is what I'm asking.

I know you guys are going to hate me for this, but I was never married to her. Yet, we're in court for cs, custody, visitation. Does the inheritance still apply, you think?

That's what I figured.

And how do you deal with the outcome moving forward, financially? How would you recommend me offsetting the financial arrangement in that situation if it were to be a major setback for me? Any ideas on offsetting my new cs payments to sustain my lifestyle in that situation?

I just read you're second paragraph which helped me kind of realize that some of them just refuse to accept the reality of what is taking place when it isn't in their favor. That helps me calm down a bit because their were several moments that I had asked myself what this women knew that I did not because she was so self assured. I know this is going to sound weak but it really hurts me to begin to understand how much of a gas lighter she really was. It takes a certain a certain amount of retard…

I agree with that mindset 100%, and yet what has pissed me off was I thought I was Scott free, had just graduated with a new career, and got a letter for child support as soon as I started working my first job after graduation. Now I'm in court fighting this bitch but It's all gonna work out, though.

Hey, man, you're good. If you're good, you're good. I'm just trying to own my shit shit, man, because I'm fucked-up in some ways and I want to be better one day. . . . You know. I've always dealt with this bullshit, though..

And see I know that that is something real right there, seriously. I mean, it's the comparisons that get me sometimes. They'll leave a real 'hole in your soul'. lol It's crazy! I don't know why but the shit is actually painful. . . especially if the new woman lacks in that department. And me, I actually have REAL fucking issues with jealousy and insecurity especially since this happened, so. . . . Idk. I mean, the shit use to give me nightmares frequently, in the beginning, and although I've bee…

The catch was that I was struggling paying her full support and still am. . .so she can afford it whereas I couldn't. The things I bought hardly get worn because he's only here Saturday and Sunday. That's what the upcoming hearing is now for 'visitation'. She also has to explain why she's kept him from me as per the 'show cause' summons she's received, additionally. He's three and not in school yet, either. I'm just wondering how I should proceed up until then. They already lowered it temporarily, until visitation is redetermined at court, and she had been pissy since then and had stopped putting clothes in the baby's bag, etc. There basically was not dated and times determined at the medi…

We had 'mediation' first, where if you can agree, you don't have to go through the whole trial process, and whatever agreement you all decide is signed by the judge. We agreed to joint legal, shared physical and with that visitation schedule. She, initiated cs through social services which automatically gave her sole custody support payments. Had I not taken this to court, I'd be stuck paying full custody payments to her. Because she probably is now aware that that days and overnights determine …

That is so damn lovely. I absolutely love that! What do think about my situation? She I just play ball with her return times. Or, say "Hey, I'm keeping him for the week." which makes her keep him and looks bad by the time we go to court in 4weeks? I know you can't tell me, per se', but seeing as how you've been through something similar, I'm curious about your perspective.
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 12:01 AM

I am in that exact situation hoping that they'll see her outright defiance. I've been stuck obeying her return times until we get to court next month. She's trying to keep me at weekends when I would like 7 and 7. Our current order says we'd make exchanges "as it occurs" basically at our discretion. So when I said 7-7, as I've always mentioned, she refused to let me get him at all, because the money is based on the time he spends with each of us is why she wants to keep me with minimal days. My …

I have no words for her when we exchange. I don't even offer eye contact. I am completely mute, and yet I exchange his things cordially. We only communicate via text message and I am direct even then. If I could self-induce a form of amnesia regarding her I would implement it yesterday.

I agree with everything you said and yet I'm only talking about the type of forgiveness that let's me drop the negativity of holding onto the bad vibes from it all and poisoning myself. I'll never look past what she's done, though. Maybe talk to the therapist about the new woman and how to go about it. . . . Maybe take it slow and once you all become an item possibly incorporate couples therapy from the aspect that you want to ensure the relationship prospers, idk. That might be kind of weird, b…

Recently, although I thought myself in a much better place, I woke up to thoughts of what has been probably going on behind me back for years. Anger, jealousy, sadness, shame all want to claim my soul right now. Truth is I've been down the road previously, just over thebpast few months, and the road leads nowhere. I just have to keep exercising, getting sleep, forgiving this shit, going to therapy, journaling, maybe talking to a few people about it, maybe, looking forward and working and the fut…

Thanks man. . . Yet, what I'm saying is that it seems that my lawyer and I want to approach it two different ways, maybe, because I almost WANT her to continue to keep him, against the court order, because she already has received a summons for not sharing him, which will be addressed at the upcoming hearing. But, my lawyer is saying to go about it like you recommend, and just give her the pickup time and settle things at court. Truthfully, as disgusting as she's acting, I don't mind if she shoo…

You must be a lawyer because my counsel advised me the exact same way. My thought process is that if she keeps on keeping my son then she just makes herself look bad for when she has to appear for the 'show cause - failure to obey court order'. Is that not logical? I also appreciate you saying that, too. Thank you!

We have joint legal, shared physical custody. She only wants me to stay with every sat and sun, probably for the money. I said I was going to start getting him 7 days and she the same. She doesn't want that. Now, she wants me to agree on a return time Sunday before she'll release him to me, otherwise she just keeps him altogether. We have a hearing coming up so it's important for her to not let me begin to get him for more days as to show that that has been the way things have been. That's why s…

Blaming yourself gets old after a while. Maybe I'm being inconsiderate, though. Hey, you know what, if you want to try it again then who am I to say otherwise. I always wondered what If I would have stopped being so cold and ran over to her and said, " Look, woman, it's me and you forever and we're not ending this! It's going to have to be over my dead f'ng body! Um signing us up for therapy and your gonna get off of the dating sites, blah blah blah Idk. Maybe that's just in movies.

Would you toy with someone you loved like that? No, you wouldn't. One shouldn't dangle a relationship before anotherb person's face like that. That's fucking disrespectful. You need to to start treating her ass the way that she's treating you. If she doesn't give a fuck about the relationship than why should you?! I know you don't want this shit, bro! None of.us did, probably. But she fucked it up and now you, as a man have to to fucking accept her fuck up as a loss for the entire family. Yes, I…

HE hasn't done it until the only way for you to make it through the day is by distancing your heart, mind, soul, away from her. When that is seen as the only means you have of mental and physical survival, then you know you are headed in the right direction. If you still think going back might be a solution (even if impossible) then you're not quite there yet. But this is not strange because you cared, but you must kill that side of yourself, treat it like an enemy because it's not going to help…

There will come a day where you will be forced to let go. You will be forced to because you will not do so voluntarily. This is the Creator showing mercy to those of us who would hold on forever, BLIND to what is happening beyond your limited human vision and hearing. When HE begins to rip the bandaid off, you will bleed but you will harden. You will survive the unbearable as I currently am.

I don't think there's anything that creates a man more than coming back from this type of bullshit. For your deep seeded stress and anger, be quick to find your consistent outlet. Mine has become the boxing gym. I take melatonin to get sleep at night. You must maintain some type of health schedule. This is foundational and primary for what you're going through. Don't turn to alcohol or negatives as I did, initially. I'm also in therapy once per week. Keeps these, and enlist them sooner than late…

List your symptoms. Be more specific so we can offer insight towards each issue. Vagueness will make anything seem overwhelming l. It's not until you break the giant down into it's different parts that you can begin to eat the entire sub piece by piece. Prioritize a quiet moment or two to begin to really start to see what's going on with you. This is the way.

That is what she is definitely trying to do at this very moment.
