This can work or men will turn it around, get defensive and say “it was just a joke, you’re overreacting. Never mind!”

I would also add one more to this: 9) Say nothing: Sometimes it’s better to remain quiet, observe and let the other person dig their own grave. Often times when someone thinks you’re a good listener they’re more likely to keep talking and reveal their true intentions.

Paying for tea/a date is more than showing you are a gentleman. It shows that you are generous and thoughtful of a woman’s time. My now husband insisted he take me somewhere nice for our first date. You know how many dinner dates I’ve paid for in the last four years of us being together? Zero. This is a man who still makes an effort to plan dates even though we’re married and have a baby. I still receive flowers and thoughtful gifts and he’s been a wonderful father. So for any lurking pickmes in…

I think that even if that existed some women would sadly ignore it and make excuses. “Oh he was different back then” or “He made a mistake” or “He would never do that to me” I mean think about all the women who write to legit prisoners in jail…

They’ve been together six years by the way. Your wedding ring/engagement ring is something you will wear forever. Don’t lower your standards!

Back in my dating days I would never meet a guy without knowing the name of the place we were going to! I keep reading on other subreddits how awkward dinner dates are but to me coffee dates are super awkward. They feel like an interview, there’s often limited seating, there’s no natural progression (unlike in a restaurant where you order a drink, a meal, the check comes) and last but not least it’s just not a romantic atmosphere.

The OP of that post says “An engagement isn’t necessary to prove his love” 🙄 I really wish we had his girlfriends perspective. Seven years is a long time to just be a girlfriend.

And do not date a recently divorced man. Do not become his rebound. At some point he will tell you that he just got divorced and wants to explore what’s out there. Do not become his substitute wife-recently divorced men, especially those with children, are more likely to date quickly in order to find some to do the wife/mother tasks they now miss so dearly. Vet, vet, and vet even more.

I purposely bought my son a play kitchen. I want to foster a love for cooking or the very least have him know that men can be in the kitchen and cook/clean. I know it’ll help later on when he sees his dad in the kitchen.

Your mom’s way of thinking is sadly why so many women settle and end up as mothers who break down. I can’t tell you how many posts I’ve read where these women acknowledge the red flags that appeared early in the relationship but stayed anyways because they were getting older and wanted a family. Being alone and happy is way better than being shackled to a LVM who contributes nothing of value.

I’ve watched both seasons of this show. I enjoyed season one a lot more. I actually thought the show did a good job trying to portray why you should not put marriage on a pedestal and have it as your end goal in life. You could see that Darby needed the title of marriage and being a wife in order to feel complete when in reality she was stuck with a total LVM. She made a lot of other pick me mistakes of course. But when it comes to marriage I was glad that they showed the reality of it and how s…

I hate that I feel like I need to rely on my husband being home for maintenance men but it makes me feel so much safer. I also let him deal with car maintenance as well so we don’t get ripped off at the auto repair shops.

My favorite is when they write eight paragraphs detailing how terrible their husband is only to end the post with “I’m not leaving him I just need advice on how to handle this” or “I know I made him sound really bad but he really is a great husband/dad”.

This reminds me of when I used to teach high school. I always tried to tell the young women I taught: “Never make any big life decisions based on your boyfriend. Whether that’s where you decide to go to college, your career path, or even where you live. Look out for yourself and put yourself first. Boys will always be there but you need to focus on yourself and do what you need to do better yourself.”

I’ve never dealt with a lease situation but is it possible for you to either break the lease or find someone else to take over your part of it? I’ve read that sometimes landlords are sympathetic if it’s a relationship type issue and they’re more willing to let you break a lease. I’d hate for you to live an entire year with a LVM.

Completely agree that you cannot help pickmes. In another subreddit I responded to someone asking what was wrong with coffee dates/walk dates. All I wrote was that they are no/low effort and some women want men to plan something with effort. I did not mention FDS at all. Honestly my advice just seems like common sense. Cue me being downvoted and FDS being called “toxic” and a “dumpster fire” despite me never mentioning FDS by name. Yes, we have high standards and want men to treat us right and s…

I think part of the problem is the media narrative that “relationships are hard work and you must fight for your love”. Is any relationship perfect? Absolutely not! But the idea that you must fight and grovel and beg for love and affection within a relationship is terrible but common. A lot of women give their absolute everything to a relationship and despite the red flag won’t throw in the towel because we’ve been conditioned since birth that having a boyfriend/husband should be your number one…

These posts are all from the same woman. This is her dealing with this boyfriend progressively over time until he dumped her.

They’re all from the same woman. I read the posts yesterday. I read the “got dumped” one first and felt sympathy but then after I went back in her post history and read post after post of her lamenting about her boyfriend, his red flags and trying to fix him it was no longer a surprise to see he dumped her. Not blaming her but you could tell from the beginning it was never ever going to work out.

I’m so honored: just received my first Scrote DM asking if my husband knows that I’m involved with FDS. Yes, of course, and because he’s a HVM he agrees with our principles. HVM aren’t threatened by FDS.

The biggest life lesson a woman could ever learn: men don’t change. Ever. That’s why I always tell young women “don’t date potential”. Date what is right in front of you right now because that is who they truly are.

I know that sub is bleak but if you truly do want to get married and have kids it’s not always that bad. I’m very happily married to a very supportive and engaged HVM. We recently had a baby and he’s been a fantastic father. A lot of those women on the motherhood sub saw the red flags while they were dating their LVM and got married/had kids anyways. So it shouldn’t be a shock to them that the lazy guy they dated is now a lazy husband/father.

Reminds of the scene in the show “Friends” when Phoebe tells Rachel that she should ask out the guy she’s crushing on. Joey agrees she should ask the guy out and says it’s a turn on. Rachel then says “won’t that seems desperate?” To which Joey replies “that’s the turn on” I’ve literally talked to men who admit if a girl asks them out they’ll go out with her despite not even liking her in the first place. I agree with this. I gave birth back in November and I found my husband to be a calming presence and he really helped to keep me centered during labor. He never once complained and got me anything I wanted. He was up in his feet by my side the entire time I was in labor. It was a wonderful bonding experience as we welcomed our son into the world.

There will always be outliers. But LV men typically breed/raise LV sons.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/04/21 07:05 PM

I agree to an extent. But if you have a son with a LVM father he is bound to pick up his fathers bad habits, traits, mannerisms, etc...That’s why it’s vital you vet the man you want to start a family with.

They can tweak their bios all the want but in the end the mask ALWAYS slips. Dishonest men cannot keep up the charade for long. Their selfishness and laziness always pops up, sooner rather than later. It exhausts them to actually put forth sincere effort. Hopefully the girl they match with can recognize the signs quickly and dump him.

Ugh that subreddit is a joke.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/04/21 11:23 PM

And if I remember correctly, men outnumber women in Seattle so if anything they should be putting their best foot forward and come up with great dates!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 08:23 PM
60

It’s not expensive. But it is for scrotes who try to go on as many dates as possible so they have to find a way to cut costs somehow.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 06:39 PM
154

Exactly! His immediate train of through was “she wants dinner? She must be a gold digger! Better find someone else with lower standards!”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 05:37 PM

And he found many in that thread!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 05:36 PM

That’s because they haven’t learned from the dating mistakes they made when they were younger... Love your username by the way! Is it a reference from a show? It sounds familiar!

True but short, casual dates aren’t what FDS preaches

Tons of pick me comments but that’s par for course on that particular subreddit

So even if by some miracle a LVM ex turned into a HVM (and I highly doubt that it would ever happen) the main thing to remember is that it doesn’t matter. They were still a LVM when they were with you. And they treated you poorly. And you deserve better. Just because it may appear that they have changed it is probably a facade used to rope in an unsuspecting woman. But the mask will slip. All you need to focus on is finding your own HVM who will treat you right and respect you from the beginning…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/21 09:51 PM
15

Is there something we need to do to make sure we can still access this subreddit once it goes private?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/21 08:44 PM
2

Oh well long distance is it’s own set of issues. I personally couldn’t have done that long of a distance. But I still feel like this falls under the category of “if he wanted to he would”, sending that text that late is not cool.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 09:26 PM
3

Oh man I called it! And obviously it’s up to you but I wouldn’t go. It takes five seconds to send a text-he couldn’t text at all earlier today? Nope-if it’s starting this way (disrespectful) it’s not worth it. Oh and he can’t meet until next week, essentially putting you on a back burner? Nope, nope, nope!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 09:09 PM
3

You’re welcome! And I can pretty much guarantee you’ll have way more fun with your friends tonight :)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 05:23 PM
2

Oh yeah for sure-I hated online dating so much. Don’t be surprised if he hits you up later this afternoon, asking if you’re still on. You haven’t heard from him since Monday? Nope, back toss that one back in the dating pool!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 04:57 PM
3

If I didn’t hear from a guy by the morning on the day of the date I didn’t go-did you ever hear from this guy?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 04:52 PM
4

In my opinion, it is a red flag. To be honest even if he was 27 I would see it as a red flag. Going out and enjoying yourself with a group of friends, maybe dinner or drinks is totally acceptable. But to actually state that he “parties occasionally” is worrying to me and reeks of someone who hasn’t grown up yet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 04:49 PM
79

That sub is horrific. So many examples of terrible husbands and fathers. But of course they crap all over FDS because we’re “mean” and they block any member of FDS.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/03/21 05:42 PM
18

Ugh but if you dare say that anywhere else on Reddit you will be vilified! So many disgusting scrotes and pickmes defend sex workers and proclaim it was their choice and why not make $$ off selling their photos/bodies? I fear for the future generations of women. It’s like for every two steps forward it’s five steps back!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/03/21 11:15 PM

Very messed up. It’s like my brain short circuits trying to comprehend my moms “logic” that is a good thing for Khloe. Maybe it’s a generational thing?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/21 05:23 PM
46

I just had a conversation with my mother about Khloe specifically getting back with her cheating ex and possibly having a second baby with him. I said it was dumb and my mother actually said: “Maybe--maybe not. She wants another baby with him even if the relationship doesn't work out in the end she'll have two full siblings” that he’s changed because he knows what he has to lose and that we can’t judge her relationship we can only judge our own. I literally cannot see the logic in any of the abo…

That’s awesome! Growing up I didn’t realize how much of a pickme my own mom was. But now as an adult we have conversations about men and I’m so shocked at how she justifies men’s actions (including my own LVM father) and condones cheating. I have a baby son and will be doing my very best to make sure he’s a HVM despite what society will try and push on him.

To manipulate them, gaslight them, and gain power over them.

Nope! My husband bought me two dozen roses, my favorite chocolates, a beautiful card with a thoughtful message inside and a gorgeous diamond bracelet. We got a couples massage and had dinner at a steakhouse. It was the perfect day. It took a long time to find my HVM but he was worth the wait 💜
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/02/21 04:52 PM

I’m sorry that your boyfriend broke up with you. But on the bright side this leaves you opportunity to find someone that’s going to treat you right and be a high value male. How long were you with this low value male for?

It’s one of the main reasons I’m forever grateful I did not grow up in the era of Snapchat and Only Fans. Both are always lauded as harmless things to do.

Oh if you dare to say one negative thing about sex work or only fans you will get lambasted and accused of not supporting/empowering women.

These are the same women who say they would be happy with an engagement ring from Walmart-they just want their man to propose already!

This is the one sub on Reddit that actually has the guts to call out sex work. I frequent other subs that validate it and call it a legitimate career. It drives me crazy.

It’s sad. The advice columnist mentions the “sunk cost fallacy” which why I believe she hasn’t left yet.

True! The best tippers are like HVM. Humble, kind and generous. If you have to brag about money or are flirty with the waitress you’re a LVM
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/02/21 09:59 PM

I used to serve in the past too-if I heard “Don’t worry, I’m gonna take care of you” I already knew a crappy tip was headed my way.

Oh I missed that-did she write that as a comment?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/21 03:19 PM

OP edited her post to add an update: they talked and she found out he’s cheating on her with one of his female coworkers!! Apparently it sounded better to say “I can’t leave my wife” rather than “I can’t leave my girlfriend”

Maybe it’s not so much that he does these things-which is the bare minimum-but how he does them. I’ll read many times where a husband “cleans” a kitchen but leaves behind crumbs and dirt. Or remembers the special occasion but doesn’t do anything for it. Or does dad things like change one diaper a day. Whereas a HVM will go above and beyond. Plan date nights and give thoughtful gifts. Play, interact and do at least an equal amount of parenting. Everyday my husband (after working 12 hours) comes h…

So in person interaction will be your best bet in order to find out if they are a HVM. But there are a few things leading up to the in person meet up that I would consider green flags. Examples of green flags: Respectful during initial online chatting. Doesn’t call you beautiful, sweetie, honey or any other superficial pet names Doesn’t bring up sex/hook ups/Snapchat/Instagram Makes a visible effort to get to know you/keep the conversation going. Asks you questions that require more than one wor…

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want a video chat in these times-but if he hasn’t mentioned it or suggested it maybe it’s because he doesn’t know it’s an expectation? I’m not sure-I know OLD is different during these current times.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/11/20 04:35 AM

Are you in a situation where you can’t meet up in person because of the current world situation? Have you mentioned video chatting via texting or on your profile? I only ask because I never had a guy ask to do video chatting but I would get frustrated if we texted for a few days and he made no effort to mention meeting in person/planning a date...

I understand! Back in my dating days when I didn’t know any better, I also struggled with the first two-mostly because guys being flakey and noncommittal was all I ever experienced. When I met my now husband it was like night and day and I realized how important communication is and how much actions and being true to their word really are! But I understand the struggle of wanting to text (or double text) when you get no response or making excuses for a LVM when they disappoint you/don’t follow t…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/11/20 06:04 AM

Honestly I think that depends on your communication preferences. For me personally I always liked everyday communication when I was dating. And there’s hasn’t been a day since I started talking to my now husband that we haven’t texted/called each other at least once a day. But I also know some women hate that! And that’s okay-you just have to gauge what you feel comfortable with and what your boundaries are!

Ugh why do men act like they aren’t a contributing member of a household? They are adults! One of the best things about my husband is I never have to ask him to do a household chore. Sees that the dishwasher needs to be emptied? He just does it! Cleans the dishes and tells me to go relax on the sofa! Takes care of things around the house! He was always like this but now that I’m literally 9 months pregnant I appreciate it even more. Especially because I know my son is going to grow up and see hi…

In my honest opinion-no. Unless he’s an on call doctor or something, I’ve always been of the mindset that someone should be able to take a minute or two out of their day to call. Especially if calling is something he does often. I’d keep an eye on this and see if it turns into a pattern or is a one off situation.

It’s definitely long enough to know. My now husband and I began dating at age 28, almost 29. We met in June 2018, he bought my engagement ring in November 2018 and proposed in January 2019. We were married in December 2019. He knows I read this subreddit and he wholeheartedly agrees with the saying “when a man knows, he knows and he knows quickly”. There’s a reason after all that the saying “actions speak louder than words” is so essential when weeding out LVM.

I think you did the right thing. You looked out for a fellow woman. You can’t help it if she’s got her blinders on. And when, not if, but when the same thing happens to her with your LVM ex she’ll remember your warnings. Maybe it’ll help her then. But either way your conscience is clear.

Scrotes will die defending porn. If a woman even dares to voice a slight opposition to porn she is immediately labeled a prude.

I call bs on this “study”. Head on over to the relationship advice subreddit and at least once a day some poor woman posts on there about her boyfriend/fiancé/husband choosing porn over sex. What about all the studies where doctors are reporting young men in their 20s are requesting Viagra because they can’t get it up due to their overexposure to porn?

The worst part of his response was when he recounted the women sympathizers in his interviews who apologized for what he was going through and “didn’t see what the big deal was”. He cheated and ruined a woman’s future and he’s the one getting sympathy?!? Sometimes I don’t know what’s worse-LVM or Pickmeishas enabling LVM

The key phrase in your comment is “if he wanted to”. Men are simple and show their value quite easily. Men that are invested in a relationship and truly care about their partner will move heaven and earth to support her, cherish her, and spoil her. Unfortunately your guy sounds like a dud-he might not be a bad guy per se-but don’t you want to be with someone who shows you with his actions that he cares about you and is invested in you?

Ugh what is with LVM and going on walks as a date? Even before corona I was always shooting down that suggestion. Like no, I’m not getting all dressed up to go outside in the hot sun so you can awkwardly try to segue the conversation into going back to your place to “cuddle”.

How long have you guys been dating? Have you had any serious conversations regarding marriage/timelines? I have to agree with the fellow ladies on here. I would not feel comfortable with my man buying a house before we are married. I would want that to be a joint decision. Because if he buys it now it will always be his house and god forbid anything goes wrong he will dangle that fact over your head. I hope you do get a proposal but if it’s not just be very careful!

This couldn’t be more true. Before I met my husband I had two previous boyfriends. The biggest thing that both of them had in common is that they put their needs/wants first and were stubborn when it came to their needs/wants. Looking back I see how I was always willing to go along with it because I wanted to appear “easy going” and not make a fuss. Fast forward to now-my husband always considers my needs/wants first. Asks for my opinion on things and absolutely adores me. He lives by the motto:…

You absolutely did the right thing! Proud of you for dropping him right away and not giving him a chance to “explain” aka lie. When the right man comes along you’ll feel at peace and happy! Onto to better things, you’ve got this!!!

Don’t forget the obligatory “not my proudest fap” comment 🙄

From the article: “an intense attraction upon meeting”

Went back and read through the article: “She proposed to her former boss on a night out at a strip club.” The red flags keep multiplying! What a cool girlfriend 🙄

Right? Even if it was the other way around-the 72 year old man proposing to the 27 year old woman-it would still be gross!!

Even the dog in the pic looks disappointed in her!

Huh I didn’t know that about real diamonds, I learned something new today! But at least you were smart and had it verified! I remember a story on Reddit not too long ago about a man buying a cheap amazon ring and putting it in a Tiffany box!

Wow! I’m sorry you had to deal with that LVM! I would’ve been so mad! And embarrassed!

Did he tell you it was real and you later found out it was a fake? What a loser!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/05/20 11:36 PM

Did this just happen? I haven’t heard anything about this? But regardless how disgusting. Vows mean absolutely nothing to NVM/LVM.

What is this meme in reference to?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/05/20 03:37 PM
45

Agreed. When I used to use OLD I had guys hit me with that bs all the time. Instant unmatch. Or my personal favorite was when I would say I was looking to date and get into a relationship: “oh wow you just jump into dating right away? I could never do that. I always hang out with a girl first”.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 10:56 PM
94

Or you run into guys who insist they have to test out “sexual compatibility” before they can get into an exclusive relationship 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 10:17 PM
16

No HVM will ever ask you that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 08:00 PM

Back in my OLD days it took me awhile to figure out that these kind of guys are a waste of time. You keep hoping they’re going to ask a question/be engaging and they never amount to anything. The right guy will lead the conversation and ask conversation-related questions. For example, if you mention you like pasta, and he suggests dinner at an Italian place then at least you can tell he’s paying attention.

Ugh gross. Glad I never watched that show. I can’t believe it’s still on the air.

Gotcha! Thanks for the background info!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 04:57 PM

Ah I see. What a terrible example to show young women. Did the man leave his wife for the character?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 04:57 PM

I’ve never watched Grey’s....was that Pickme audio an actual line on the show after a character cheated?

Do it! He doesn’t deserve one last word, thought or minute of your time!

This is an amazing comment! I was an avid reader growing up and I’ve always hoped my future child would be as well. I definitely plan to implement a lot of reading! And that’s an interesting note about fiction and empathy!

Oh he will for sure be doing chores. I refuse to raise a boy who thinks cooking, laundry and cleaning are things only women do. The feelings aspect is a good thing to note too. Studies say men in general tend to be less empathetic.

What about the emotionally unavailable LVM? The one who is at first charming (later seen as arrogant/narcissistic) but when conflict arises becomes avoidant-dismissive and tries to downplay everything?

Don’t forget about Beyoncé!

I don’t know about this specific LVM in your story but I understand how it happens. It happened to me-my ex in the beginning was very charming, put together, confident, and seemed to have his life put together. However, it didn’t take long for his true personality to shine through-selfish, mean, and sometimes just down right cold. And I stayed longer than I should have because I would remember how he was at the beginning and I would trick myself into thinking he’d go back to the way he was. Spoi…

The irony of the “upgrade now” button. Uh yes please!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/20 12:20 AM

Except there’s still that segment of the male population that will go: “it’s just a joke” or “you’re so sensitive” all the while rolling their eyes.

Not a movie-TV show: “Sex and The City”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/20 01:10 PM
19

And the worst part? One of comments/suggestions said to show the husband what a good effect extra sleep has and to show him at night ;) and OP states that’s the answer she likes best! That’s rewarding bad behavior and this is why LVM never change!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/02/20 11:17 PM

This emoji 🙈 has always been a dead giveaway that your dealing with a LVM. I swear they’re the only ones that use it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 04:12 PM

Exactly! Plus I feel like if a woman proposes at the first opportunity the guys is gonna be “Well you’re the one who wanted to get married!!!”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/02/20 04:01 PM
33

From the article: “Pinterest found the number of people searching for “women proposing to men ideas” skyrocketed 336% from the year before.”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/02/20 02:57 PM
20

Absolutely not. This guy reeks of LVM. Do not let some arbitrary timeline suck you into a crappy relationship.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/20 10:55 PM
38

But let’s be honest here....they didn’t actually change the sheets. LVMs will sleep in 6 months old sweat-stained sheets for as long as possible!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/20 07:58 PM

“I’m sorry you feel that way” The emphasis is always on the “you”.

I have mixed feelings about tinder. 99% of the time the men were garbage. Low effort, overly sexual and crude. But I met my husband on there! And I never would’ve met him in real life despite living five minutes away from each other. That’s why I started using online dating in the first place-to connect with people outside my social circle.

Or they want your number to send dick picks 🤢

When I used to be in the dating pool, I’d always unmatch/ghost any guy who would keep pushing issues-whether it was picking me up on a first date at my house, giving out my phone number, or something sexual. Once I say no, the subject should be dropped. What I love is when men try to turn it around on you “I was just trying to be nice!”

“Ryan told me to always tell women you work in finance”. Like another commenter said-I bet he’s a bank teller trying to sound fancy! OLD is full of these guys-nothing to offer but you better be perfect!

The audacity! Lmao

Don’t forget about the LVMs at auto repair shops who think because you have a vagina you know nothing about cars!

Met my husband on tinder!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/20 05:55 PM

I’d say so lol. I’m more introverted in nature and after college I bought a house and my routine was pretty much sleep, work, errands, relax at home, and then go to bed and start all over. OLD was a great resource for me in that it matched me with people I wouldn’t come across IRL. Like my husband who I actually lived only five minutes away from, was at the same college as him at the same time and went to the same grocery store! I often wonder how many times our paths crossed before we matched o…

Yes! I met my now husband using tinder. Before I met him I had two unsuccessful relationships (also from OLD) and went on so many bad first dates. But I stuck it out and finally met him. He’s the epitome of a high value man starting from our first date where he took me out to dinner!

Well I’d say overall what worked for me was: taking it slowly, keeping physical stuff off the table for awhile and actual build a real connection through dinner dates and activity dates. I was upfront right away that I wanted to take things slow physically and I emphasized from the start that communication was the most important thing to me. As far as tips concerning meeting a guy through online dating: unmatch if they start off sexual, if they want to “hang out”, only offer coffee/drink dates, …

I did! We met on tinder of all places lol! But I had to swipe through a lot of garbage over the years before I met him.

When I used to use OLD so many guys would ask what I was looking for. My go to response was typically “looking to date and see if it leads to a relationship”. About half the time I’d get back “wow you just rush into dating like that? I don’t do that but we can hang out first” 🙄 Edit: I see I’ve been given a flair-just want to clarify-I’m not dating anyone-actually getting married this Sunday lol. Already got my HVM :)

Gotcha! Yeah that dude sounds like a loser. Looks like it’s time to block! Hope you’re having better luck lately with dating!
