It’s ironic that the left now uses homophobic insults more than the right

Yet bisexual women usually date men while telling straight men who oppose feminism to date men as an insult (like as if sexuality is a choice).

Slavery and oppression have not declined over the years. And any problem long ago that happened is replaced by new problems, including ones that could threaten the human race, such as climate change or AI. So no, stop acting like everyone today must be happier. You’re presentist.

Nope. After bush’s disastrous presidency, a democrat was gonna win. Besides, Obama was tall and McCain wasn’t and McCain was too militant and people got sick of the Iraq war With or without Palin, McCain had no chance

Yep. I honestly think it’s interesting because his approval rating started off high and even Republicans accepted him but then they went crazy about him and I think him being black is a factor Do people really think McCain would’ve been better after Bush’s awful presidency. McCain was too militant for the post-9/11 era.

Take a look at the calm before the storm right before trump ran for president. The Iraq war was gone, bin Laden was gone, the economy was booming again and the unemployment rates dropped. The 2014/2015 period was the best we got after 9/11. I’m not saying Obama was perfect, but overall, he was a good president.

Given their campaign demonizing isolated groups of men and portraying them negatively all over social media and perpetuating harmful stereotypes about them in the media, what they think matters “Who cares” comments are the most cliched virtue signaling comments on Reddit.

It’s satire, and even then, all he did is express loneliness about struggling (if it wasn’t satire). He’s not being toxic or saying anything horrible. So no, speaking hatefully or at best, harshly to him is inexcusable.
/r/MensRights13/07/25 01:56 AM
1

Uh no. Their manifestation of low self esteem isn’t objectively “toxic”. It’s just an ordinary expression of low self esteem. You are judging them for low self esteem but are too chicken to admit it. And by the way, no one struggles chronically with dating for years due to poor wellbeing alone, so stop treating these people hatefully and like they’re a bad person because you’re not gonna cheer them up, like as if better wellbeing, all else being equal, would make them suddenly successful. You’re…

just saying: this is a satire, and by the way, telling people they have “bad attitudes” for having low self esteem and that’s why bad things happen to them is not only false, but just a bad thing to say that won’t cheer them up. You sound like mainstream Redditors

You’re not a minister. Also selling someone doesn’t mean property Property means you can whatever you like them and have no obligations, it means they’re an inanimate object. Men can be sold off according to certain verses (I can’t recall which ones but it’s there) are men property or do people need money if they’re going to allow someone to join someone’s group marriage tribe etc Nobody has ever viewed women as property or men as property only the simple minded think that means property automat…

Anti religious people only know verses. They don’t know history and context.
/r/MensRights01/07/25 05:35 PM

Such a biased word. PS: firm atheists, especially New Atheists, aren’t any less dogmatic.
/r/MensRights01/07/25 05:34 PM

Of ffs nobody has ever believed women are property. Yeah the Old Testament says some controversial things but they don’t single out women compared to men far more than men, nor are these verses understood correctly. They always have a reason or special context behind why they are written It’s because feminists are “woke” and thus irreligious. It has nothing to do with the Bible being actually anti women. “Misogyny” has never been the norm.
/r/MensRights01/07/25 05:31 PM
3

There is no such thing as a patriarchy. People are so naive when they take these verses completely out of context and assume this was written for malicious purposes or that the Bible is anti women.

The reason feminists overuse the term insecure is to silence people who oppose them because insecurity is stigmatized, especially in men.

They do prefer older women. Middle aged men prefer women 10 years younger

LOL 18 year old men prefer older women. Either way, preference=/=morality. I already explained why it’s not unequivocally wrong. Even weird is subjective.

Let’s view it this way: if you’re 30, you sometimes could have something in common with someone a decade younger. Some college students are over 25 and some people don’t go to college. Some 30 year olds act relatively young, especially if they have ADHD. It can occasionally work even if it’s, on average, not extremely realistic. It’s not unequivocally bad.

so why are men labeled initiators and women the gatekeepers. why do societies with more women than men lead to women struggling to find an ideal partner due to a shortage of men but not a problem for men when there's more men than women? isn't that because men would pursue? it's not like when men exist more than women, there's more divorces because of men struggling to find an ideal wife. look up about that.

Hypermasculinity
/r/MensRights01/05/24 09:09 PM

Men often are interested in viewing lesbian porn, and they’re not socialized to. There’s a lot of evidence already cited about how men but not women are attracted to lesbian sex and threesomes and why women’s sexuality is more fluid while men’s is dichotomous. A lot of research was cited to support the theory. It also explains why women in poly or swing relationships are usually bisexual but that’s only true for significant minority of men involved in it
/r/MensRights30/04/24 05:18 AM
-2

Actually invasive sexual attention is definitely a thing. And yes, men do it less to lesbians There is such thing as sexually persisting, or making overtly sexual comments to flirt in inappropriate situations It’s not hard to figure out. And men do that less to open lesbians according to the research
/r/MensRights30/04/24 05:16 AM

I did
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/04/24 01:47 AM

Or it could be that non bisexual women are a bit more sexually fluid than their male counterparts and you’re not fetishizing someone just by merely being aroused by women having sex with each other. And yes, there is an evolutionary reason why men find it arousing. I already explained
/r/MensRights30/04/24 01:47 AM

Invasive sexual attention is harassment. and men do that less to open lesbians

UPDATE: This study does show that men who perceives themselves as unattractive were more misogynistic and so were men who perceives themselves as very attractive to women or successful with dating (probably due to sexual narcissism), but lower or higher number of romantic partners was not linked to misogyny (misogynistic and dark triad men are short-term mating oriented even if they have an average number of girlfriends in life) and number of sex partners was positively correlated with misogyny …

This idea that rape is the worst thing to happen to a woman comes from this historical idea that if she is raped she is damaged goods forever and can't marry because she had to save herself for marriage. In reality, statistics show some robbery victims or aggravated assault victims suffer worse distress than some rape victims. In fact, the victim-offender relationship played more of a role than the type of crime.

I’ve actually read hypermasculine men are more likely to commit violence against women compared to less masculine men, and that domestic violence survivors prefer feminine or less built men because of it. But these same men who do this stuff to women statistically also will commit crimes against men, too. They don’t only attack women, contrary to popular belief.

Don’t forget how they whine about how everyone expects women to be a homemaker in their 20s instead of going to college and having a career when in reality, college and career is fully normalized now and getting married and having kids is less encouraged now They also act like all violent women are victims and treat all women like damsels in distress. They also think society still encourages virginity when it’s Obvious society normalized premarital sex which feminists normalize The Establishment…

The article said that. All those women said was they won't leave the house without makeup. PERIOD. It literally just said that. Nothing more. They were asked that and said that, only some article just said an assumption. And it could be because they wanna look a certain way to others, not to conform to gender roles in particular. i think the only reason leftists want to reform criminal justice system is because they worry it affects blacks more, otherwise they wouldn't care. It is cherry-picking. This statistically doesn’t happen it’s just a the MEDIA EMPHASIZES THE RARE. I understand some 21 year old molesting a 10 year old would be that way but not statutory rape of a teen and young adult who isn’t even a decade older. Defending it? What a dumb analogy. Read my post again over and over. Sexism works the way ageism does. Racism is done to make a group of people miserable with malicious hatred towards them. Sexism isn’t like that. Misandry is based on society’s gender roles not based on trying to make men miserable because we hate them. It’s not like black peoples or gays. Gender roles of how people should be to prosper our species caused sexism not hatred and evil towards a gender

a lot of people online think misogynistic men often are virgins and vice versa, and it's even becoming a popular belief in real life, particularly among leftists and zoomers.

kinda like how leftist women, including ones of color, complain about cishet white men but still disproportionately date cishet white men.

and people always will blindly defend women's dating preferences while condemning men's. they use the "people can have whatever dating preferences they want they don't owe you anything" excuse. I don't owe anyone acceptance of their preferences, and they're not entitled to freedom from criticism. Having freedom to your preferences doesn't make your dating preferences automatically valid.

Yeah but that subreddit didn’t have 100,000 regular users. The main forum has 20,000 users but most are inactive or banned. It only has a few hundred regular users worldwide, most of whom eventually get banned or leave the forum after some time, and they come from various countries.

Exactly. Up until recent years, people knew misogynistic men were often womanizers who engage in promiscuity and view women as conquests. Nowadays, they think all of them are virgins. Hell, some people used to think misogynistic men were gay.

The funny thing is misogynistic men actually were found to be much more sexually experienced than most men, not less. The internet's overemphasis on the rare ones who are virgins gives the opposite impression. This "virgin misogynist" stereotype the Internet has didn't exist until the 2010s. Back in the day online, if a man hated women, people thought he was gay.

the viking age was early 2nd millennium. also your source says in the 1700s only 10% of Swedish women were unmarried. it wasn't even 20% until 1900. and these women married typically at 26/27 years old, not over 30. In the 1646-1750 era they were 29, but later they were 26-28. Actually, it was even common for women to marry in the early 20s, but mid-late 20s was most common, and only some married after 30. It barely differed among peasants and non-peasants.

No. The general fertility rate was much higher in the US and didn't decline until the late 20th century, and it was higher than in Europe up until the past few decades for reasons I mentioned in my post. The general fertility rate was high across all races, and even people of color had slightly higher fertility rates because they probably died out more. this argument's just going in a circle.

again, america wasn't very popualted and had higher matenral/child mortlaity rates which was ALSO a big reason why people married young. thats why. what you brought up is just one factor they could've easily changed marriage age patterns quick if they were so populated historically. that's why marrying later happened in america. and yes marrying as teens was common historically. you're generalizing off of western europe and north america. go to the middle east, east/south europe, south asia, anc…

Women did marry in their early-mid 20s in the US in the 1800s, and even in their late teens/early 20s in colonial america. hell, even in old England, marrying in your late teens/early 20s was common depending on the area. Europe in the 1800s did marry later (at least West/North Europe). Marrying as a teen was common historically, but not in North America and Western Europe. Elsewhere, it occurred in many societies, including ancient ones. But it's not like now where people marry in their 30s.

Ok you’re a moron. I’m not projecting. Society DOES stigmatize virgins. They lost their virginity usually at the age where it’s NORNAL to still be a virgin that doesn’t count. You realize you can’t just go and get a social life. Many adult virgins were socially isolated throughout their life and often OSTRACIZED. And when you get older without a social circle, it is VERY hard to make up for it. Stop assuming they just “never tried to make a social life”. They struggled like hell due to bad circu…

Your experience doesn’t override others. It’s because society only can relate to experienced people and society is sex positive so they have a bias favoring experienced people. There’s plenty of crimes that can be as traumatic as rape. Autistic men socially withdraw more and are much worse socially and conversationally regardless of any gender halo effect
/r/MensRights30/06/23 11:07 PM

So? Autistic men genuinely are still much more socially inept. They struggle far more with what is socially appropriate or what to say
/r/MensRights30/06/23 11:06 PM

Nah they mask differently. Autistic men can't act neurotypical most of the time, so they socially withdraw because that's the only way to avoid social stigma.
/r/MensRights30/06/23 07:28 PM

They do have better innate skills. Autistic men often don't know what to say, might do something they didn't know was socially inappropriate, make poor or dull conversations, are very picky about what to talk about, etc. Autistic women typically do make good conversations. It's not a halo effect.

I never said autistic women have it easy, but what you need to realize is that masking isn't something anyone can do. Some autistic men might be able to mask, but believe me when I say most can't. Most autistic guys I meet are self-evidently autistic. You can tell right away. The ability to mask is also quite innate, too. Some people can practice and can't do it whereas you succeeded. High functioning autists who have good social skills didn't "develop" them necessarily. Maybe some did, but not always. In fact, it could be the social aspect of their autism isn't as disabled as the other aspects of their autism. It's not 90% of women who are raped and abused. These kinds of stats often are found to have bad methodology, with poor phrasing of questions, sampling biases and poor response rates. I'd be careful about reading that.

Autistic women are far more likely to have a satisfactory friendship/relationship than autistic men are to experience anything at all. Just remember this: autisitc women were found to be less stigmatized, even when controlling for masking or autism severity. https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/va3dxq/multiple\_studies\_people\_stigmatize\_autistic\_men/

The only autistic men who you’ll see ever have a relationship, make tons of friends and blend in with the world are ones who are really good socially and who don’t have arrested development and can keep their disability under control, even without masking. You’re thinking of those normal people autists. The ones who mask, and even when they don’t, still have good social skills, don’t have as much arrested development or vocabulary delay and still won’t seem autistic at first even when they don’t…

The problem with the masking argument is that I wish I could mask. When you don’t mask, much worse consequences happen. Besides, autistic women do have much better social skills (with some exceptions such as a childhood friend), and you can’t mask bad social skills. If you can pull off good conversations, you can pull off good conversations. There’s autists who claim they hate masking but being mistreated, isolated, unable to get jobs, unable to make friends or find partners, etc because you don…

Women were never even property. In fact when Muhammad married Aisha none of the criticisms he received had anything to do with her. It wasn’t even taboo in that society so why would we expect people who did it to have immoral intentions or to even view it as harmful? Even Aisha, after his death, didn’t even view him negatively And also Muhammad never condoned concubinage https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_views_on_concubinage

Feminists do advocate for love, given that they treat women as automatic angels for being women and defend anything they do, and assume any violent woman must’ve been the victim. And they fearmonger about them being damsels in distress who will inevitably be raped and murdered. You do treat them as fragile beings who should be cherished and protected. Feminist is rooted in benevolent sexism.

Yes, it’s benevolent sexism. These things are done because they worry about predators lurking around to harm women, something you feminists fear monger about. The reason these rules exist is to be protective of women and worrying about them getting hurt. They don’t care if men get hurt, and expect men to fight back on their own and face the music, so they don’t have the rules for men. Women there don’t even view it as oppressive. It's because men do not receive benefits from divorce as much as women do. They have to pay dowers, alimony, etc. and women often receive more custody of the kids than fathers do. The court system even has a pro-mother bias. It can. Prejudice doesn’t mean necessarily hostility and anti prejudice doesn’t mean love. Prejudice is when you single someone out and discriminate based off identity and anti prejudice is when you treat them based off the content of their character and treat people like the way you’d treat anyone else. You question the idea of benevolent prejudice because we’re taught all our lives about the idea that hostile prejudice is what all prejudice is like.

Society wasn’t always a theocracy back then. Historically, women had to wait until marriage to prevent bastards from being born, because we didn’t have paternity certainty then. Problem is, nice guy syndrome is just some guy who was nice to women just to make them happy because they liked them and gets frustrated when they macho guys who cheat or commit domestic violence having more success than them. They tell virgin guys even when virgins don’t even suggest it that sex isn’t important and it’s a luxury/earned privilege no different from access to video games or concerts which also cost more money than birth control And men need money to have it easier finding a relationship or live on their own and meet other people more easily rather than the family oriented suburbs of their parents house That’s not classism? But when it comes to women, sex is suddenly a basic human right.

Single people argue with people all the fucking time even their coworkers, roommates, bosses, family, etc. and couple activities can be exciting and sometimes can involve video games And also most couples don’t cheat, and many single people can get bretrayed by others Stop acting like as if relationships are usually bad. They’re the ones who wanna get spanked, choked or spit on or called a whore during sex. I mean yeah, it’s consensual and someone’s going to tell me not all women enjoy these things but it’s common for them to enjoy at least one of these things.

I’m sure you saw many age gap posts where no abuse was mentioned and many age similar relationship posts where abuse was mentioned and don’t recall due to memory bias Also, surveys show younger women are better at knowing what is harassment than older women. Hell, it’s usually young women online who talk all the time about potential red flags. 40 year olds just have other things to do than post about red flags In dating. And people often call the craziest things red flags, so no, you don’t have …

Dude virgins in general are stigmatized now. It’s 2023 nobody cares if a woman has premarital sex anymore. Virgin women are usually considered a prude or a tease. They’re not called pure anymore.

I beg to differ. If we’re going to encourage people to give certain genres of music a chance or to try new things, we should be consistent. Having ridiculously high standards is stupid regardless of your “freedom”, you don’t have freedom from criticism

sex positive people have a bias. its wrong to call promiscuity a dealbreaker, but its ok to call virgins a dealbreaker.

the word inkwell is used as a sarcastic word to mock morons like you and no, i never even said women hate men. quit putting words in my mouth

i never hated women for mens' problems. THESE PROBLEMS are created by people in general. men and women reinforce these FUCKING gender roles. and MOST THERAPISTS are women so stop acting like it's "oTHEr MeN". only 1% of men could have any fycking power. they wouldn't give just any man power you fucking dolt. so no, i'm not blaming any fucking gender. people in general do this. people in fucking general, you just wish i was "blaming women" so you can demonize me. PEOPLE IN GENERAL BELIEVE IN THES…

people regardless of HOW MANY RIGHTS THEY HAVE, believed in these fucking gender roles. you fucking realizec only liike 3% of men could fucking vote back in the old days right? in fact, in most countries, originally men nor women could fucking vote. ONE PERCENT OF MEN COULD CREATE SOCIETY YOU FUCKER. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT? In fact, many gender roles were created based off whom women find attractive. Women find tall men hotter, they find muscular men hotter, they find rich men h…

1% of men created society, and 1% of men were put in the fucking government you dolt. OnLy oThEr MeN wOuLD JuDgE yOu i love how feminists think that women are kind loving angels who never judge people. actually, studies show that mothers are more likely to enforce gender norms than fathers, and women are more likely than men to stigmatize lonely people. even many men have said that after crying in front of their girlfriend, many times she eventually used it against them. this isn't one anecdote,…

The problem with your pathetic argument is most therapists, psychologists and social workers are women, and also, it's people in general who created gender roles, not men in particular. it wasn't the fucking government or system that created gender roles, and either way, only like 1% of men work for the government, so stop saying the "other men" fallacy based off the top 1% of men. even women often believe in this gender roles themselves, but according to feminists, this is impossible because "w…

I wanted to post this on r/virgin but there's a lot of feminism on there now and people get in trouble for the pettiest things they say, so I decided here would lead to some people being more understanding.

Statistics are real evidence not anecdotes And plus nobody will say “my partner doesn’t mind my experience” because that ain’t noteworthy. So these people are just a low, vocal minority Statistics show it’s a myth. Men don’t care about that shit. Exceptions are just a vocal minority
