And “7 rings” and “successful” were also so good and focused on friendship/success instead of men! I wonder if her label/manager was over the empowerment and were like “can you please just give us a couple more songs about muh penis please, we wouldn’t want people thinking you hate men”

“Single father households out perform single mother households” Too bad they hardly exist because men are significantly more likely to abandon their children and families. But yeah, let’s blame the woman who fulfilled her duties rather than the man who abandoned them.

Most men do not have the empathy required to read more than 4-5 lines of text max. Have the conversation in person if it’s a serious partner, otherwise block and delete.

If society truly cared about preventing unwanted pregnancies and abortion, it would be easier for all males to get vasectomies as teenagers and then reverse the process when the time is right. According to a study done at Cornell University, vasectomy reversals are highly successful even 15 years after the vasectomy has been performed. Vasectomies cost the same as IUDs. Vasectomies are less painful for men than IUD insertions are for women. Woman are only fertile 2-5 days out of the year. They c…

If she’s successful enough on OF to casually spend $500 then she’s more successful than the average woman on that site, and she’s not going to be dating some broke video game addict.

We had 4 teachers at my high school have inappropriate relationships with a student during my time there. Only one was a woman and she was the only one that was fired, although the other were asked to resign or retire.

On the other side of the same coin, I have ended not one, but two long term relationships in order to move cities for my career (both times a different city). I would make the exact same choice in a heartbeat. Having the financial freedom to do what you want, being able to spend your money however you want, doing what you want when you want, THAT is what Disney movies should be showing as the real dream. It was the ultimate manipulation because it kept me from telling anyone he hit me since I felt bad for pushing him even though he was at least twice as strong as me and I asked him to get off of me several time before I pushed him off.

You actually called him a trophy husband, not me. I agree she was known, but I disagree she was a household name like George Clooney. I wish we lived in a world where human rights lawyers have the same recognition, wealth, and platform as Hollywood celebrities but they don’t. The fact of the matter is he was richer and more famous. I think they are an equal match, neither is the trophy partner. The only point I was trying to get across is she likely wouldn’t not have nabbed a man of that caliber…

Human rights lawyers do not have the same widespread fame as celebrities. I couldn’t even tell you Amal’s maiden name without looking it up so she was not a household name until they married. His overall net worth was also higher than hers. She’s an impressive woman certainly, but George was much older, richer, and more famous and therefore not a trophy husband.

Short rant: Seriously considering adding this to my dating profile: “If you’re a man looking for no strings attached sex on here, support the economy and hire a sex worker instead. Depends on your metrics. If we’re talking a fame/money/prestige angle George is the catch, if you value humanitarian angle over these things then yes, Amal is the winner. In each of their twenties though, Amal would likely not have been in the necessary social circles to date George Clooney.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/09/20 05:26 AM

Sending you big hugs. Look at all the women who waited to marry later and snagged really high value men like Meghan Markle and Amal Clooney. These women likely may not have done so well for themselves in their twenties. The longer you wait and better yourself, the better the man you will attract. Keep your chin up love, but yeah it might take another decade before you find someone. Investing in your looks is often a necessary a career and social move unfortunately. The prettier you make yourself…

Genuinely never think about my exes until someone else brings them up. I believe women are more likely to give their “all” in a relationship due to socialization telling them men are their salvation. When things don’t work out, it’s easier for us to move on because we know we did our best. It’s harder for men because they often give the bare minimum and then they regret not trying harder and her leaving as a result.

For me, friendship is a two way street, to get emotional support you have to give and I’m sorry but a smile is not enough in return for all the emotional, physical and financial labor she is discussing. Never has a male platonic friend ever given me flowers or supported me emotionally in any way so I think smiled and reddit awards are the only thanks she’s going to receive. Hope she gets picked.

That’s a pretty solid platform you have and if you decide to monetize your Insta for blogs or hobbies, it’s good to have that base. Some careers even take your social media following into account. You can also get on better OLD apps like RAYA. Just archive any photos you don’t like and delete any comments you don’t want. Curate your « close friends » list for your stories as well.

Your post resonated with me because it’s how I felt before I settled into my career. As women were taught all out value comes from our youth and beauty and before you graduate and become financially independent it’s really, really hard to see that’s not true. At least it was for me. Keep loving and taking care of your body and mental health. Perhaps see a therapist to work on your self esteem. I do think your going to see a big change in how you see yourself though once you get that degree.

Honesty is not the best policy with men. Men lie all the time and don’t consider it lying if it is somewhat true “I don’t have a child (that I take care of)”. The women I know, myself included, are much more averse to any type of lying and it makes them too vulnerable and easy to control in relationships. You don’t need to lie, but always always keep your cards to yourself

We were exclusive. We broke up because he wanted someone who contributed to some dinners/activities, and that’s not what I want from a guy. That’s why I’m considering stating that upfront from now on because most guys in western cultures are not okay with that, even guys who are well off. It heartening to hear though that you found someone who never let you pay.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/08/20 06:57 AM

I’ve had a guy pay for dates up to two months and then expect 50-50 and that’s when it’s more tough on me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/08/20 06:56 PM

My initial concern was what if a guy pays for everything the first few dates or even months and then stops, but I guess that’s why we don’t get attached during that time?

Can you communicate your standards and when should you do so? I expect a man to pay for all meals and activities together. I have zero need for a man’s financial support, but in my experience if a man is serious, he’ll put his money where his mouth is. Unfortunately, this is not the norm nowadays so how early on can I communicate this standard to avoid wasting time?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/08/20 08:06 AM

“Let’s meet downtown, walk around, and find a place for drinks together” I don’t date guys who can’t even be bothered to take 5 minutes to look up a restaurant beforehand

I mean there’s Stacey, but we’re not mad at her. I’m sure many FDSers are a Staceys sick of being disrespected by Chads. In my experience, the less attractive the guy you go for, the more he takes you for granted.

I feel like an FDS rule should be to never accept an engagement ring worth less than a month’s salary. If you’re in the states, this means no ring less than 1k because even at minimum wage, he can afford a 1k ring.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/07/20 12:28 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/07/20 07:36 PM

Totally get that. I love a man who can cook. It’s about the effort and financial investment to show the emotional investment for me
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/07/20 07:35 PM

Thank you. I’m somewhat flexible, but I find when a guy doesn’t have to financially invest he doesn’t emotionally invest and I ALWAYS end up hurt. Hoping this weeds out the fuckbois honestly
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/07/20 07:34 PM

He’s ethnic, finds her white side attractive but hates race mixing? He does realize sex can lead to children right? While of course I hope this man never reproduces under any circumstances, I especially hope he does not accidentally impregnate a woman of a different race (since he clearly still sleeps with them) and inject that child with his crippling hatred.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/07/20 07:30 PM

Actually, the whole point of buying diamonds over cz is that they don’t get cloudy or lose their shine with time and usage, but this lvm has likely never bought a woman fine jewelry in his life. Regardless, women are humans not inanimate objects.

No physical pain in my entire life has ever compared with my cramps. It is absolutely excruciating and it happens every month. I burned myself with a heating pad because the sensation of my skin literally burning wasn’t registering compared to the pain of the cramps. Edit: for all you experiencing horrific cramps, ask your doctor for Mefenamic Acid. It has been a godsend. One pill and I can avoid cramps that month.

It’s crazy how true this is. Especially if your out of their league. I think once I slept with him he began to suffer from “can I do better?” syndrome. Unfortunately I will not be sticking around long enough for him to find out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/07/20 08:08 PM

This. I think the LVM who acts high value until commitment is established is the hardest to get rid of because you have all the sweet memories of high value behavior. At least with FDS I know he’s not going to magically start putting effort in again. Before I broke things off, his last date pitch was essentially a glorified walk, that’s when I knew lol.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/07/20 08:06 PM

Yeah I think this is exactly what happened. Not beating myself up about it though. It’s not my fault he didn’t know a good thing when he had and I can promise you he’ll try to come back.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/07/20 08:04 PM

Yup, no excuse. I’m still young, I enjoyed my dates with him, glad I saw the light early on. I just genuinely wish I had waited 3 months. I thought it was a silly rule and it’s not.

I pinky swear I did. That’s why it’s easy to let him go now. I made sure I didn’t develop feelings, I stayed objective. There was not even the tiniest red flag. I sleep with him and all of a sudden he starts taking me for granted. We’re exclusive and still dating and I’m sure it’d continue that way but he’s no longer putting in the effort I require

This man went an hour across town at midnight to get me Tylenol on a weeknight because I sprained my ankle and ran out. Paid for everything. Called and texted everyday. Asked to see me multiple times a week. Now I’m lucky if I get one text a day. And the drop in interest was immediate, but I’m happy with myself and my life so while it’s not ideal, I can let him go.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/07/20 09:42 PM

Just learned this the hard way. Made him wait 2 months but I should have listened to FDS and made him wait three because now he’s slow fading me so I’ll likely have to let go soon

You can absolutely do everything right and still only find men that want hookups. The handbook helps you quickly weed out the guys that say they want to get to know you but really just want to hook up. When a guy is really interested in you (which is harder to accomplish with OLD imo) the rest is easy. I wish I had a “hack”, but really you just have to live your best life until the right HVM comes along.

Involve the police. Let them know someone is harassing you and lied to you about their identity. Most likely he’s just a maladjusted misanthrope, but he also could be very dangerous. Stop calling him out. Stop responding to any messages you think are from him. Buy pepper spray, sleep with it and your cellphone under your pillow. Double and triple check the entrances to your home are locked at night. Don’t go home alone late at night until the messages stop.

I don’t think you need to talk about it unless he asks. If he does ask: Say you only have sex in committed relationships. I agree there’s no tact in blurting it out, but you can say it if he asks. If he doesn’t ask: Date him for up to two months without commitment then leave if he doesn’t commit. If he does commit, still wait at least another month before sleeping with him. Dating high value men isn’t complicated. They’ll wait and you won’t feel any pressure.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m still young or live in a big city or I just have good friends, but no one in my life has ever told me my standards are too high. Typing this out though just inspires me to raise my standards even more until someone in my life comments ahaha 😈

100% a pickmeisha Also does reddit hate rich people because I’m starting to get the vibe that’s it’s not just filled with incels and lvm, but broke incels and lvm. I say this because the top comment on the post was saying everyone in life faces struggles and the top response was like “nOt RiCh PeOpLe”. It made all the gold digger comments we see everywhere make sense because generally only cheap broke men complain about gold diggers

I bet that tweet has women lining down the block. Don’t worry ladies, I’m sure he’s single.

He’s trying to see you ASAP because he cares about the physicality more than the personality. You’re game/texting is really good and would have whipped a HVM into shape. The reason I already think he’s low value is he’s already testing your boundaries. Unless he comes back with a date, time, and restaurant location for dinner next week I’d unmatch.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/07/20 11:02 AM
68

What does he even mean by that? Why would you keep your Thursday night free for a “maybe” with a complete stranger regardless the reason, who does he think he is? He’s not making it easy for you and at the end off all this all he’s going to offer is drinks. Imo, unmatch.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/07/20 10:42 AM

Oh one hundred percent! Looking back on my post, I was naive to think otherwise. The more I think about it, the more I just wanted a weekend getaway which I can easily arrange all by myself.

I actually laughed out loud at “"I plan a good date but u have to be in mi bed" I will say room situation was not discussed, I merely assumed we’d be in the same bed. I also know if I asked he would not be against individual beds in the slightest. I simply forgot that was the thing to be honest. Either way, all the advice here, including yours, has made me realize we’re not at the stage in our relationship to take a trip and I need to vet longer. I really appreciate this community.

We’ve been dating in person for a month now, and let me tell you, the pickmeisha in me definitely wants to go on this trip and tear his clothes off haha. But my logical, handbook-reading side knows vetting and boundaries are key so I’m going to wait a bit longer before agreeing to a trip in the same room.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/07/20 10:13 PM

I also don’t get how these men hate gold diggers but are chuffed that younger women all of a sudden like them more at 30. It’s not because you got hotter sir, it’s because you got richer.

“While I’m sure you mean it respectfully/as a compliment, I find it impolite to comment on peoples stature. Thank you for respecting that” But yeah it’s annoying we have to give a whole soliloquy just get men from commenting on our bods while not offending them for calling them out on it.

All these guys in the comments are bashing her, calling her a sex worker, and using lib-feminism and “eQuAlIty” as their defense. Don’t they see the hypocrisy in using “sex worker” as an insult while claiming they want equality?

I think this has probably happened before and he’s gaslit her by saying she can’t control him and she’s paranoid and he’s allowed to have female friends. She’s likely given up and resigned to her fate with him.

I wouldn’t downvote you, but also I’m not sure this is the sub for you. It’s pretty anti bill splitting and I also expect my Ubers to be paid for. I’m looking for the man who will be the father of my children so if I’m considering giving you life one day, the least you can do is pay for dinner.

I just had a guy ask me out by saying “I have a dinner at 8 but let’s try to bump into each other right before”. So low effort, it’s crazy. Forever thankful to FDS for making it easier to weed out lvms.

This! I feel “sparks” often and I have to actively remember not to trust them. I also feel sparks platonically when someone “gets me”. For me a spark is emotional or sexual attraction, both of which I’m very sensitive too. Agreed there are much more important things than “spark” in a serious relationship as it always fades in my experience.

Old best friend did this to me when she got a boyfriend, I let it slide assuming it was the honeymoon phase. 6 years later they’re still together and she’s still not a good friend. She chose her boyfriend (they’re not married, but it’s her choice). Anyways we’re still friendly but we only talk 3 or 4 times a year when he’s away. Obviously the transition hurts but sometimes best friends get demoted to casual friends, just part of life.

Lol of course it’s one of the things he likes about you because he’s cheap. Unfortunately there’s likely no getting out of it. I know it seems gold digger-y to dump a guy because he won’t pay your half, but it really is a valid reason especially if he makes more.

Hilarious that these older men hate gold diggers but insist on younger women. Hate to break it to you men but no one more than 5 years younger than you is with you for your MaTuRiTy. I had a guy get angry at me yesterday because I couldn’t accommodate him last minute into my weekend schedule. He had been so sweet prior to that and then a switch flipped and he threw a tantrum. It has to be a tactic. This guy I liked texted/talked/video chatted me every day for a month then ghosted for two weeks and after that it was just weekly “thinking of you” texts. I disagree. I think it’s a typo. In addition to the safety issues of giving out an exact address, there is too much of a coincidence that the first two responses show spinster appropriate ages of 29. Plus, there’s a comma after the numbers which addresses generally don’t have.

In the 1920’s America banned alcohol for a bit. Plenty of people depended on alcohol daily (both alcoholics and casual drinkers), but as far as I know it didn’t result in tens of thousands of suicides and neither would banning porn.

Listen to those instincts. Whether it’s a ploy for easy sex or not, a walk around date is about the lowest effort date I’ve heard of after “movie at my place” which I agree is where the walk around date will end.

People need to talk about this side of it so much more. This is mainstream porn at the most commercial level with famous stars. This is the best case scenario for an actress in this industry and these women are in tears. Imagine how it is at the lower levels. Absolutely vile.

A guy your age is less likely to have this fantasy as you would both practically be teens. A guy over 25, is unlikely to date a girl your age unless he has a teen fantasy.

You have to do it. We can’t do it for you. It doesn’t matter how you do it text, phone call, etc. just do it then delete his number. Delete it everywhere so you can’t contact him again even when you’re desperate to. It’s going to suck for a few weeks, but better than the months, potentially years, he would have strung you along for. As they say, don’t let your dusty boyfriend keep you from meeting your hvm husband.

In my pickmeisha days, I was always surprised that my boyfriends always ended up being more attractive, more well-off, more sociable, than my fwbs. The men who wanted to commit to me and saw my worth were always guys I thought were way out of my league. The guys I thought I was settling for were the ones who strung me along. Now when a guy is anything less than enthusiastic about me, I decide it’s probably because I’m out of his league and in hindsight I’ve always been right.

Yeah tbh in my former pickmeisha days I’d be into this if the guy was hot (and had a better job then bartender). There’s so many STI’s than the standard ones we talk about in sex Ed. They really only talk about the ones condoms prevent to encourage use but there are plenty out there like this one that condoms don’t protect against AND clinics don’t check for until you have symptoms. Be very careful ladies. No sex before committing. No D is worth an STD.

I personally haven’t because I’m afraid the girl won’t believe. I went on a date with a guy, we kissed at the end of the night and I found out the day after through some lurking of his tagged photos he had a long term gf. I had messages from him saying I was a good kisser that I could have shown her but was too afraid of the fallout. Also, for all I know, they’re open, but I did point blank ask him before the date if he had a girlfriend (call it women’s intuition) and he lied and said no.

Even intelligent unfaithful men don’t like photos. They go straight for the DMs. A like is a thinly veiled attempt at shooting their shot. Otherwise, why do they need to validate these other women with their likes? Men don’t give without the potential to receive.

Male feminists have taken on this identity to get you to split the bill, go “50-50” on everything, and fuck on the first date. He’s still not going to nurture you or do any emotional labor and you’re still going to do the vast majority of the housework and child rearing if you settle down with him.

How many “little” mistakes do you let slide with a new guy before you move on? Little mistakes being things like -not calling when they say they will -leaving your text on read for too long -not trying to continue conversation I’m also curious if you let them go as soon as they stop making an effort or if you wait a bit to see how things play out.
