How do you create emotional spikes in men?

Physical attraction is not emotional attraction. Unattractive people get laid every day.

Fucking yes. Having lived in FL this is literally how it goes sometimes. The mere mention of boats is a secret weapon. The girls come as a group, they get shit hammered, somebody fucks somebody else.

I think this advice is necessary in this space. There's such an air of moral high ground here. "Stop talking to any women who displays a single bad habit or doesn't lead a philanthropic organization and doesn't play by your rules when you talk to her." Like let's be real, girls like dudes who make bad choices and we're told to avoid studying it and experimenting with it like crazy here. Good stories come from crazy shit, if there's no risk then where's the tension? It doesn't have to be hard dru…

That's probably the biggest thing anybody can do to improve their game; just talk to everyone. It calibrates you, you get a feel for the current vibe, and if you understand how to leverage other people in your social interactions at all it puts you in a position to do that. You're then playing chess with more than one piece.

Practicing something will make someone better at it than somebody who doesn't practice. Not sure what you think this subreddit is if not a mirror image of: doing dozens of approaches, several days a week for months or years while surrounded by a culture of peers and mentors in the same fucking game.

It absolutely can happen down the road. 1000% yes. Read Manson's role models and his entry on sexual neutrality.

"As a 18 year old woman" If you're going to lie about who you are, why would you create a persona that has zero relevant advice on this subject? I don't give a flying fuck what an 18 year old has to say about her experience being approached as a legal minor. And no man of age should.

Dude this would be so easy... but you've got this frame completely fucked up. Literally all you would have to do is compliment the things they put effort into. Watch some GRWM tiktoks, read some of the compliments the girls leave which get positive feedback and repeat them. The problem is that this isn't going to really do anything except get you some positive responses and won't get you any closer to charming the pants off any ladies or building any deep connections with other humans. Also, a lot of dancers have terrible game and make the same mistakes men do when they suck at game, so you can't learn shit from them. I think I understand what you're saying. Thank you for writing a real post and not some AI bullshit. Fuck the haters on here. If I catch your drift... Strippers, slipping into their work persona, are trying to keep conversations highly stimulating in a sexual way. If you can't match the vibe they're gonna move on. They are TRYING to latch on to things you're saying and doing that seem like you're flirting successfully because they are trying to show you signs that they're interested. But if you'…

You learn roles from mentorship, usually. If you weren't given good examples of roles then you'll struggle to invent them from nothing. Manson talks about this is his book, relevantly titled "role models"

For real? This is "old school" stuff from the Mystery Method. It's basically just a social amplifier. I'm somebody who gets called out for using AI with my writing, but I'm a technical writer so I guess that makes sense. This post doesn't scream style adhesion to me (real writing), it more looks like excessive formatting which will ring the AI assisted writing bell.

Looking a certain way is one tool to get people's attention. You can pick from a plethora of gambits. You can do a magic trick, you can have a deep-bellowing voice that people listen to, you can tell a funny joke, you can roll up in a nice car, you can do something generous like buy their group a round of drinks, you can spend enough time with a woman to where they drop the pick-up-shield and actually get to know you. That's not what's being said. I'm saying looks are not as important to women as they are to men, not that they're not important to women at all. Did you read the whole post about how I got laid based on my looks moreso in my 20s?

And as I have aged into my 30s my ability to lean on looks has diminished, hence me being here. Another thing, which is a whole separate topic is apparent social class. Yes it's very high school but women will often not mess around with guys who they'd get made fun of for hanging out with in a high school setting. Nobody wants to need to explain why they're fucking someone who's perceived to be a loser.

You're there to meet groups of people, plan to meet them in other locations at other times so that you can work the subsequent stages of game. We're picking through trash to find treasure. There are real people here, making real posts with real mistakes, real questions and real thoughts. There's just an abundance of trash. We're not seeing applicable examples, we're not seeing real experiences; we're seeing out-of-context, embellished scenarios that are supposed to exemplify something as complicated as human social interaction.

Any time you see, "the only" "the best" "the xyz they don't want you to know about" "the easy way" it's bullshit copy and, in 2026, it's written by AI. She wasn't necessarily flirting with you, but she was challenging you. Typically when they try to call you out on something the go to response is to lean even further into it. If your delivery is humorously dry you could say, I'm having sex with them, very deadpan. You could try to be clever say you're pollinating them. Then say whatever interesting single thing you know about flower benefits. An inability to make fun of yourself comes off as insecure, but only do it if it's funny to you. Don't …

It's hard for me to know where to start, then. Flirting is usually trying to hold the other person's attention in antithetical ways. It's why teasing or play fighting gets brought up so much, because typical social rules dictate that people try to be nice to one another, polite, stay off certain subjects, etc. By breaking these rules it creates this tension. It's what y'all want but not how it's supposed to be delivered. It's having a very normal conversation but with too much eye contact. If th…

/r/seduction06/05/26 02:41 AM

Flirting starts with getting their attention and maintaining it. Then it's a progression of more and more bold moves into each other's personal space. It's not normal to throw things at one another but it's a harmless break of the rules. So if you toss a paper ball at a girl, you're flirting with her. If she tosses it back, she's flirting back. Get your clues from their face.
/r/seduction06/05/26 12:23 AM

All the time. It just doesn't matter the same to them. It's like you hearing that a girl cooks your favorite style of foods. It's a huge perk but it's not what you're buying drinks for

Yes, the negotiation. When a guy and girl meet it becomes a "frame battle" as these guys here like to call it but basically you're making expressions of your boundaries and expectations moving forward while simultaneously trying not to be boring about it. I had a girl whose house was an absolute mess who said to look at her seriously because she wanted 5 kids (she's in her late 20s). Dear god mods please don't take this down. This pickup psychology stuff is so important as so much of the pickup teachings is an adjustment to how men need to be "nice" to women in a way that maintains attraction.

Girls have very different perceptions of what "attractive" means than guys do, as is true in reverse. I'm almost interested to see for myself what you're working with but it's probably frowned upon. If your goal is to get good at game, then there's no reason to beat yourself up over not wanting to swim out into very deep water by engaging an attractive girl in a very public setting. Idk if you follow pickup at all but you've already got "one-itis" with this girl. It wasn't a trend of girls that inspired you to make this post, it was one. She's the worst thing for your game right now because you've placed her at a much higher level of value than yourself.

On average, they're incredibly time inefficient and indecisive compared to dudes and after having the peace of not dealing with that for years it's a rude awakening to need to re-enter that world.

I find that approaching groups, particularly mixed sets, is not only a more available option but carries more momentum when you're doing well. 1 on 1 approach seems very unstable. The cool thing about groups is that the groups give you things to foil off of and you don't have to be constantly delivering content like a dancing monkey. You just need to deliver enough content to prove you can hang. Then you can spend the time playing pool, listening to stories, or whatever the group is doing. At th…

Can confirm that women have found me physically attractive, to their own admission, but I never once got the vibes that they were interested in sex. Women have even asked other women to tell them what it was like to have sex with me and (let's say) jealousy, but themselves wouldn't do it.

I think there are two layers to this. One layer is your reasoning for initiating, the other is your level of comfort in your reasoning. Are you initiating social interaction for only one purpose or are you open to seeing where it goes? In that sense you might NEED one reaction to feel like it went well. Are you comfortable with the reasons why you're initiating? If, let's say, you are opening for one reason. Are you more cool with that than you'll be uncool with them blowing you out for it? The …

It's one thing to be stupid but then learn better, it's another thing to fight to stay stupid. Because women aren't direct and honest with them. I'm not saying that's the right way to think about things, I'm just saying that's a major reason why. Women, as well as men, love to extract the attention they get out of a situation while paying as little into it as possible. Women typically have an easier time doing this because it's the cultural norm for men to push the action, so they're more practiced. Men know this.

This advice is interesting to me in that it's contradictory. So much of what is being taught here is to have standards and to wear them on our sleeve. In fact, we're told we'll have MORE sex from MORE attractive women by doing so. Even that we'll get better behavior out of our partners if we don't accept less. Then we have this advice here that suggests we'll have more sex if you have less stringent standards... or at least if we appear to be less strict to our standards for a partner. (As we ar…

This is the same concept as using routines, or as you call it, "cheesy lines". You're using a premeditated action to elicit and response you wouldn't be able to naturally. Having coached athletes for several years, I'm a big proponent of giving people techniques to practice and try to apply because it allows them to free up bandwidth to pay attention to other things happening. This is where lines, canned openers, being subordinate to wingmen, routines, coaches talking in your ear, etc DO work... because their job isn't necessarily to take you from start to finish (although they might) but rather to give you some pieces with which to play the game enough to see what the fuck is going on. I've spent most of my life involved in a combat sport, participating and coaching. That last sentence is almost wholly false. The practice is there for programming and serves two purposes: What a movement should feel like as a form of reference and allows the athlete to perform the movement with minimal explicit thought, allowing them to focus on other factors such as what their partner/opponent is doing. In that, having a rehearsed line frees up bandwidth to see the feedback. Skill learning is …

If you follow game principles, no. They give you the first signal of interest. That may be as subtle as looking at you, standing near you or (if you make it easy enough by having something apparent and interesting enough to talk about) giving an opinion or question on something situationally relevant.

We're just having a semantic disagreement. I think you know what I'm saying at this point and I recognize that you're cresting into pedantry a touch. That's how we learn jobs, lmao. Before you learned how to cook a steak, you just warmed up a pan and put a slab of meat on it and pulled it off. After several times cooking it you started to notice new things about it that helped you cook it better. At some point you need to think for yourself, the point of the techniques provided is to get you enough reaction to gauge what the fuck is going on before you start trying to make sense of it all.
/r/seduction08/04/25 11:59 PM

I thought the whole point of DHV was to fine tune it into something that was tolerable and situationally appropriate. Someone posted an audio clip last month and in it they kinda spoke on this; rather than asking people if they're into stuff like owning a boat or some expensive hobby you speak to them as if you assume they do with the enough room for them to gracefully exit the subject. Instead of asking if someone owns a boat you might ask them if they ever get out onto the water. DHV is suppos…

By your definition of manipulation, no... it's impossible. You're not going to learn concepts without techniques. The issues with women being in this space stem from women being culturally better at this than men. Girls are more social much earlier and in different ways than boys and are taught that from female mentors. A lot of media that concerns women deals with or speaks to sex and relationships. Honestly I think approaching girls as a group is easier than approaching a lone girl or trying to approaching just one girl in the group. It's much more natural for girls who feel safe in a group to talk to you and the additional people add to the dynamic. Why is this sub so toxic? lmao There are two types people here, the people who are spit very ambiguous framing advice and the doomers who can't let go of the idea that xyz is holding them back and therefore ruining it for everybody else. Rather than just fuck off and mind their business they downvote these posts which reduce the visibility. So we have even less chance of getting technical answers from people who follow pick up strategies and just more homogenized streams of the same circle jerke…

This is a good perspective. Be ready to meet girls both in the moment and in life. Women spend an hour a day just trying to APPEAR to be eligible for relationships... and take that look to an office job or shopping at the mall, and also still do it when they're dating someone, and none of those scenarios should be one which they're meeting a potential partner.

I'm just throwing out considerations: He's bad enough at game to take a boot camp. He's trying things that feel awkward to him, so he's giving off awkward vibes. There are a bunch of people in the city trying strange things to pick women up during this bootcamp. She was attracted to him for something that you couldn't see going on. I bet if you saw her dating history the dudes would look similar to him in some way.

If you're ever very close to a girl, basically making physical contact (or actually making phsyical contact) and the talking stops but you're both still cheesing. Take her hand, give her a little spin and lay down the double lip lock finisher.

We get two mods on this stupid question? lol You're really at the mercy of the bar. If you're at a tiki bar you can get some impressive looking cocktail in a tiki mug with all kinds of leaves and fruit and even fire coming out of the top... but if you want a drink that just looks good so people ask what it is in order to get one then blue cocktails seem to do the trick. Blue Hawaiians are one of the best looking drinks that you can get a club IMO. But no chick is going to be "impressed" with it.

On the part where you want to be approached... what are you doing that makes you approachable? What "handles" do you have to grab? Do you wear a sports logo or clothing piece that people can talk about? Do you have something about your outward presentation that inspires questions or comments? If you want the cheat code for getting approached, go walk a puppy.

I don't have the same problem as OP. Some people look at me, most look away as quickly as I look away from them. People have told me I'm attractive throughout my life so I just imagine some people like the way I look and some people don't.

One thing I've noticed about dudes who have women around them more than those who don't is they tend to move their heads less. These people look mentally vacant to me but apparently the girls don't think so. You might be looking with your whole head and face versus just casually catching eyes with someone. If you're already "zeroing in" on someone by the time they see you it looks like you're the one with more interest and I typically find that girls who see me looking at them like that are cold…

It does, per every single body language book, article, post I've read... but it doesn't necessarily indicate sexual submission. Some people are timid, some people are scared or have prior trauma. This subreddit sucks for two main reasons: 1 Reddit is a harbor for a very special type of toxic where people come here to syphon the value out of other people who have put the work in and refuse themselves to do more than read whatever free, minimal information is being provided to them. They're vehemently against spending money and making choices that crush the fantasy that they're going to be able to get good at everything in their spare time by just joining a subreddit for each of those thin…

Honestly I find this stuff very easy when we've already agreed that we're having sex. Once our security guard was murdered in my apartment complex, so they couldn't find anybody to fill the position for whatever reason. I invited a girl over that I'd been hooking up with and told her I needed to pat her down since we had no security guard. I "found" some cocaine on her and we knocked some lines down while we jumped on the bed. I just find it much harder to do this type of stuff in a more subtle …

I think there's an important distinction to be made here. Cold approach is what most people think of when you say approaching women, but there were volumes upon volumes of "Social circle mastery" game books and videos sold. The idea that your social anxiety is the only obstacle for social skills is a bit of an overestimation of your own social skills, for just about everybody here. These things can be both overlapping and mutually exclusive at the same time. Taking a brace off of your leg doesn't mean you will run world record times, and there are people with injuries that run faster than those without. Focus on skill building instead of scapegoating.
