Read the whole thing first, it's not that long:

I work in hospitality in a large city, I come across a fair number of people I would want to talk to outside of work. I am allowed to be a little flirty as this is the nature of my position, but hitting on every girl I find attractive would be inappropriate and straight up asking girls for their numbers more than once every couple months would get me fired.

For those people in industries where they talk with a LOT of people throughout the week, how are you getting numbers while staying professional? Notice I said how are you getting numbers, not how would you get numbers. I'm at work 6 to 7 days a week, so I don't get the chance to go out as much as I did in the slow season... so I'm trying to make due. I've been very against picking people up at work up to this point, but I think in this situation I could open up a little bit.
