Try to have fun man. Sex can be a lot of fun if you're not getting in your own way. Ashwaghanda helped my testosterone and performance (in amd out of the bedroom) immensely. Pills are temporary. I had my first time since my ex left last night. Totally out of the blue, and we spent 4 hours together. I couldn't even get it up for my ex 2 years ago! Good luck!

Funny man, same length of time for me and linked up with a gal last night. I shared some of the same worries as OP. Now I am laughing at myself about it. Confidence is key and a good gal will help you along the way!

My vibes are immaculate, my dude. I terminate fat bong rips if anything.

Fuck dude, I didn't realize I'd been programmed.... Am I like the terminator?

Pull the trigger, my guy. If you are having these thoughts, the foot is already in the door, so to speak. Make a choice. You're either willing to continue living a life that clearly is not what you want, or you're willing to go through the tough process that is divorce. If you have the fortitude and can embrace the suck that is separation, I'll bet my small fortune that you will not be 40 living in your car. Become the man you want to be. If not for yourself, do it for your kids sake. Also, get …

I felt downright broken when she left. Still struggle every single day to function like a human being a year later. Despite the difficulties, I'm learning a lot about how to be a better me. Kind of like that Japanese pottery mending with gold. We may only be gathering up pieces of ourselves, but it's progress none the less. One day we get to feel whole again (with a touch of gold too!). Hang in there homie 🤙

Mad cautious. I'm just playing around for now.

This, I felt like OP for months after separation. Prospects are looking a bit better these days. Pay for tinder and give things time. Stay positive king 🤙

30M here, marriage lasted around 1.5 years. I was a fucking mess for months after she packed and left suddenly valentines day of this year. Finally feeling somewhat normal again. Therapy is important. Eat right, sleep well and workout often. Give yourself as many opportunities to be proud of yourself as possible. More than anything be kind to yourself and others, it can be all you have at times. Radical Acceptance helped me immensely in letting of attachments to what I wanted our failed marriage…

Fighting on our 1 year marriage anniversary in Hawaii, she screamed divorce again. Our honeymoon was a bandaid to her. Felt some part of me walk out then. Months later she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said " I don't think I can ever hit you again." 2 weeks later she punched me in the face. Pretty sure I gave up at that point. Still endured another few months of awful violence and honestly emotional vacancy from my end. She wound up packing and leaving. Know your worth my dudes. I'm fi…

Goodness, this nearly read like a biography of my life the past 7 years. Hope your world continues to grow more peaceful and less empty!

I would suggest getting a divorce. Your parents are right. I spent much of my late 20s in a physically abusive relationship turned marriage. 30 and divorcing currently. Our 2 year anniversary was tomorrow. "Radical Acceptance" by Tara Brach could be a good read for you. Good luck mate 🤙

Sounds reminiscent of the dynamic my ex and I had. We made eachothers issues exponentially worse. I'm working hard at it. Certainly one impatient SOB, trying to take things in stride. Considering micro dosing psilocybin or SSRIs for a nudge back towards the light.

Whenever it feels right to you my guy. I wore mine for a few months after separation. Moved it to my right hand when divorce went underway. It hangs out with my sobriety ring on my right ring finger. Probably will for a long time.

I'm sure your just not good at picking people my guy. Something about you made 2 woman want to settle down. Don't be so hard on yourself.

2498 days. I'm sure trying man. Not sure how to go about meeting folks. Congrats on 8 years.

We kind of were eachothers social lives. Not very healthy. I certainly know I can be alone. Went through a sobriety reality check at 23. Spent a little over a year in my own world. Having a rough go heading back out into the desert. I know it can be mighty rewarding though.

Appreciate you. Trying to practice patience where I can. Tend to be pretty hard on myself, much to my therapists dismay.

Man this resonates hard. Keep trying to remind myself that not all women are the same. It's takes finding the right one, and continuing to put in the work for yourself I suppose. Sorry you are struggling.

Separated for going on 5 months from the wife. Been working out at home quite a bit. Dumbbells and resistance bands. I used to be pretty fit doing taekwondo, but it's been 15 years. I'll say I feel much stronger, starting to see some results. Thinking I'll get a membership to a gym once the divorce is finalized.

This was beautifully put. I sense you truly have been through it and are coming out the other side a better person. I find myself currently jumping between paths 1 and 2. About the same exact time line and scenario as OP. Taking these words with me to bed tonight. Hopeful for path #3

Man I've been on a few for a short bit. I must be doing something wrong because it's crickets. I don't think I'm bad looking? Not even matching.

Some folks just can't deal with their demons. I think it's a big part of mental health, this tiptoe around actually taking care of what folks personally need to. Or just not knowing how. The respect is a big one, once that's lost it's a long road back, if at all. Also want to note that what you said here has made me think about myself a bit more. Maybe I didn't see the gal trying to cheer me on in those first couple years and she was just forgotten about. Food for thought.

Man this. You are not responsible for her healing. Cut the rope is a good way of putting it, or you will literally be dragged into the depths. Some folks just don't know how to love and yet others don't know how to be loved. I'm unpacking my own traumas currently from 6 years together with a physically and emotionally abusive wife of under 2 years. Thought I was saving her from an abusive relationship. Tried everything I could to make life as perfect as I could for her, she was working part time…

I have considered it. I am not keen on Christianity. I am spiritual I'd say, just don't feel inclined toward any particular faith.

Lol whatever you think mate. Fought nation wide and at junior olympics. I trained bjj with Gracies for a session. I'll thank you now and tell you to get fucked. Martial arts have fallen if that's the attitude I get to look forward to. My black belts a real one, not some toy. Kukkiwon sanctioned.

(An update my dudes) Just got off the phone to discuss pick up of spouses(27F) belongings. Things are going OK. Date is set and we catch up a bit. And that is where I fucked up. I talked too long and gaslit my own damn self into thinking "maybe" there's still a shot. Maybe we could link up one day. One day I'll pull my head out from within my ass and breath the fresh air. Until then, I'll get it through a straw I suppose. Mac Miller said it well "been in the shit so long that it don't smell"

I'll tell you what, the street bike scene in my town is going off and I've always wanted a moto. Might have to pull the trigger and embrace some debt. I have my black belt in taekwondo, did some BJJ. Might have to find a dojang around here again, it's been 15 years since I've trained.

Oh I do see my fortune on that end, I also have a martial arts black belt from years ago and would have gotten pretty legally fucked. I'm not really seeing an urge to even go to therapy on her end anymore or be accountable. I think she is ready to move on here, I'm just a guy who hears "nearly impossible" and thinks fuck you. Trying to ground myself in reality. Not even sure if I have the integrity to go through the hard shit like that anymore.
