If you ask repeatedly that's coercion according to the article
/r/MensRights13/10/22 01:46 PM
1

I noticed these problems too, I wonder how many times asking for x is needed for it to count as coercion. Once a month? Once a week? Also it didn't specify blood alcohol levels. 1 shot 8 hrs, then sex, is that rape? What about 1 shot 1 hr ago?
/r/MensRights13/10/22 01:44 PM
1

Reading through it, it implies prostitutes cannot consent BC "pressure is coercion". Having to pay bills is financial pressure right? Unless one bumps into a prostitute who does the sex as like volunteer work?

Currently falsely accused, best of luck to you! But man she beats around the bush
/r/MensRights11/10/22 09:56 AM

I'm also currently falsely accused but criminal court not family court. If I was in your position, don't ever see her without witnesses present and spend as much as you can on a lawyer. You could also try to settle outside of court by just giving her a lot of money.

Im not so sure. When I was accused, a restraining order was applied to me, I didn't have any ID when I was jailed for 1 day and they didn't let me or anyone retrieve it. They also didn't let me take my meds, and I carry those on me wherever I am, so they had it in lock up.

Okay, but for coming out of prison, how could I access the account for like even buying a jacket? Like all banks that I know here require 2fa via phone number and I won't have a phone number. Also banks close accounts that are inactive for long enough - happen to a tax free saving account of mine once.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:57 AM

The problem is my sum is less than a thousand dollars - but I want some way to getting back on my feet if I get out of prison that isn't having 0 ID and homeless shelters. Had 0 ID when I was initially given a restraining order and it took a months of being homeless to get ID again.

How do I set up a trust or appoint account manager? I'm not sure what search terms to even look up. Would prefer not to have my lawyer do it.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 06:49 AM

If I come out of prison, it seems like I will have 0 identification or own any belongings anymore. I might get a 4 year sentence, so the accountant/banker has to still work there 4 years later and has to recognize my face. Think that'd work?

Canadian here. Pretty sure pepper spray counts as a weapon, so nobody can use it here aside from Popo. Also, bc of being accused I have a life time weapon ban. I was homeless after the accusation, so not fun times walking through the hood when most other homeless ppl (from the ppl I met) were carrying weapons.

afaik natives here seem more socialized than average. Like they often have big families and seemingly a bunch of friends. Granted, half their familiy is in prison, so not exactly the family to grow up around

I reported a dr Singular, yeah nothing happened. I emailed back and forth with a complaint person from the the board of college physicians for a while and then one day never heard back from them. Sent a follow up and nothing.

I figured there might be no lesbians on mensright, but I am very interested in knowing if 1) they ask each other about consent and 2) what happens if one of them doesn't ask for consent but does sexual stuff anyway

Nah, when I was charged and released, the release papers had a lot of formal words and i've been imitating the words basically out of fear, long story short.

For example a doctor asks a patient “may I touch your knee” before proceeding. You may think “well of course you can, why else am I here to get knee treatment”. I've had 3 prostate exam, all 3 dr gave me no warning. Like I knew i was going to have a prostate exam sometime within the next 5 minutes, but did not know it was going to be in the next 2s. Told the first dr he should have given me warning. Didnt tell the next 2 drs because I figured drs don't ask/tell you what they're doing. Was a shoc…

Another user figured out an answer; The gov wants ppl to be polyarmourous, ex having sex with other people around who can provide witness statements.

Since they;re guilty no substantial objection to that

I think here's how a false accusation would work: all of us who work in the gas station are bloody poor. So all the staff live in the hood (not the boss). The problem homeless women customers hangout in the hood. They literally could recognize any of us when we're away from work. Away from the store, all of us staff (besides the boss are vulnerable). When I walk home I have to make sure i'm not being followed. Consequently, the store has a lot of trouble hiring staff. Lots of stories about previ…
