Here’s a comment, because an upvote is simply not enough.

And why would I ever need to determine wide ranging trends? What good does knowing some arbitrary number indicating the overall average of the wages of 300 million people that all do different jobs in different places, for different people, at different times, for different durations, with different experience levels, different educations, different living standards, different prices of living and on and on and on... Now, I know that the women in my workplace make more money than me. So, it’s co…

By this point in your life you should be able to determine with a certain degree of accuracy when someone’s lying. You can tell an honest person from a dishonest one. If you know how to lie, you know how to spot a lie. I’m not saying you’ll be right every time, but you should have a margin of error comparable to the statistics of any reputable study you may find. Instead of interpreting someone else’s data however, you’ll just be interpreting your own.

Statistics can be biased and manipulated just as much as personal anecdotes. That’s really all I was trying to say. I’ll always believe my own eyes and ears before I believe some graph. Also, don’t lie, you can’t find 10 honest women that will say the exact opposite of what I said.

Why not? Anecdotal evidence is valid in the court of law. It’s called witness testimony. Why would you invalidate my real world experiences? You consider the numbers and data of studies done by people better then the personal experiences of the people themselves? If that was the way the courts determined truth they would sentence people because “Statistically, most people who are accused of a crime are guilty,” or some similar nonsense. Here’s my testimony: I’ve had many jobs in many industries.…

I’ve done it. But I’ve also seen women break glass and destroy property in other ways. I’d say men do the most wall-punching but that’s probably because men are just more capable of actually punching through a wall.

Seek discomfort. Do the things that you fear most. Make progress toward your mission. Take cold showers. Get rejected. Eventually your comfort zone will conquer the world and approaching that hooter’s hottie will just be second nature. Eventually you’ll start laying down Hollywood worthy lines before you even get a chance to think of them. You’ll be thinking to yourself “did I just say that?”

I guess “objectively” wasn’t quite the right word. I suppose “outwardly” would have been more suitable. From the outside looking in I’m sure it seems like I’ve got it made, and in a lot of ways I do. But, truthfully I’m struggling (as most of us are) and it’s getting hard to maintain appearances and not lose my fucking shit and kill people. I was in a weird state of mind when I made this post. Somehow I’ve since snapped out of it. In hindsight it was more of a vent than a question, or request fo…

Actually my life’s practically been a vacation since February. I think I’ve actually had it too easy lately. My life’s been so full of turmoil. Now that I’ve found some peace, I think subconsciously I don’t believe I deserve to enjoy it. Everything just comes so easily for me. I’ve never really had to put much effort into anything. I may have a great life, but I’m obviously not living up to my full potential. I can’t keep half-assing my way into greatness. I can’t do it anymore.

I was afraid someone would say this. Maybe you’re right. Maybe I am too fixated. I have a mission. I’m pursuing it. I’ve monked out before. It got me where I am now, which is quite a long way from where I was. I know what I need to do and I’m doing it. I don’t think isolation will help anymore. Isolation is dangerous. I have contributed. I have saved countless lives. I can, will and want to do more. But, I’m afraid I’m too acquainted with death. I’ve seen him take so many from me, many of whom I…

If we can actually make exchanges for mutual benefit, even better. If not, why would I let you waste my time?

Sadly “The Red Pill,” is simply a collection of the simple truths of nature that our ancestors have always known. What’s most interesting to me is how the recent progression in science and technology has inspired the majority of developed societies to reject ALL of the knowledge and principals that our ancestors lived by. This ideology is so flawed yet so prevalent it can be scary. Sure, ancient civilizations didn’t know everything. Religion is a prime example of how this absence of knowledge ca…

Short answer is basically feminism and the “equality” movement. It has basically encouraged men and women to act more like the opposite sex and shamed men into acting more feminine by framing masculinity as violent, evil, and obtuse. The long answer is probably already written much more in depth and specific then I could ever write it. Hopefully someone already has an article in mind and can link it for you. If not, you can definitely find an answer by digging through the sidebar and browsing ar…

I’ve always been skinny, so hitting the average BMI with far below average body fat seemed like the turning point for me. It was also the beginnings of my worst troubles with complacency. My advice is to ditch the grass is greener mentality and focus on finding joy in the progress you’ve been making with your routine. Track your numbers relentlessly. Need a shot of confidence? Look at your sheet and compare today’s lifts with last month’s.

Personally telling someone gives me a sense of accomplishment too early and takes some of the steam out of my drive to actually do it. It’s much more rewarding to have it already accomplished and just casually mention it if it comes up in conversation. “So what’d you do today?” “Oh, you know, I just ran my first marathon. So, the usual I guess.”

True. Decent and relatable example. I’ve noticed quite an emotional detachment from almost anything that doesn’t affect me right here and right now. Best and most recent example I have is last friday night. I was up on stage waiting for the DJ to spin up my karaoke song and I was listening to the beginning real quick to register my key. Yeah, don’t fuck with her like that. That’s a woman’s game. Do your best to convince her logically and rationally like a man is supposed to. Then, appeal to her emotions. What you’re about to do is convince her that her baby is the only one who will love her. That’s pretty fucking stupid. You need to be her support. Abortions are very tough things to go through. She needs to know you’ll be there for her. Don’t drag her through the mud, take her hand and lead her. “The time is not right, we can’t…

Well, the sarcasm’s uncalled for but I think what you’re trying to subcommunicate here is that by not ignoring her I’d be expressing too much interest. That’s simply not true. However I think the opposite is true. Ignore her and she’ll know she incited a negative emotion. She just punched a hole in your impenetrable wall of amused mastery.
/r/askTRP02/11/17 09:49 AM

But I’m not committed, I don’t give a fuck, and I can punish her in other, more indirect ways (like fucking the living shit out of her and then telling her to leave because you have another date coming over), if need be.

Yeah that’s fair.
/r/askTRP02/11/17 09:39 AM

No, definitely respond. Always respond. Text like you’re standing right in front of her and talking. You can’t just ignore her. Tell her to enjoy herself, but not too much bc she’s gonna need some energy for (Insert next date plan or kinky sex thing here).
/r/askTRP02/11/17 03:21 AM
1

Which is why ignoring her would never play. It’s a negative reaction. It’s an avoidance tactic. If someone truly didn’t give a fuck they’d just say “Nice, have fun! Don’t do anything I would do!”
/r/askTRP02/11/17 03:17 AM
5

Because he’s a twenty first century man and more than likely uses his phone as a timepiece so not responding is clearly blatantly ignoring them in all but the rarest occasions. I say go back to the default of amused mastery. Tell her to have fun and make sure she sticks him with the bill. She’s gonna need that money for (insert the next date you are planning here).

Yeah good advice, goes back to the old mantra "Think before you act." I just don't want to be caught up in hamster wheel all the time bc that's another problem I have, which is why I deliberately do reckless shit like free climbing to shock myself out of my head. I think I need to really contemplate and visualize the personas that I want to embody for each atmosphere and group that I can expect to find myself in. Finding good mentors and role models would probably help tremendously.

Love the post. It goes right along with the stoic principal of willfully enduring discomfort: cold showers, lifting, nofap, etc. This is tangentially relevant but I also find myself intentionally provoking awkward situations in casual social interactions and then breaking the tension with a little comedy or a quick topic change. I've been doing it for a while but I just recently realized that it actually coincides with many of the laws of power.

You have to consciously train yourself to think positively. Every time a negative thought pops into your head replace it with two positive ones. Just don't talk about the relationship itself unless she brings it up. Then be honest. Like "Hey, I'm not really looking for a committed relationship at this point in my life but I really enjoy being around you... Blah Blah blah blah..." She might say see ya, she might stick around. Either way honesty's the best policy. Girls talk. Last thing you want bad word go in' round behind your back. Shit she might even tell her girlfriends to give you a try if you're lucky.
