If you are going to setup a date through text, just do what I said and just tell her you are going to be doing (x) at (y) and tell her she should go too. I race motorcycles, so my profile picture is one taken by a professional photographer dragging my knee around a corner. Can't see my face at all aside from my cheeks and eyes through the helmet. My wife (now ex-wife) threatened to commit suicide and held a knife to her throat (while pregnant).
