I've found myself in this situation many times. I would have a couple interactions with a girl and then she was all I could think about. Looking back, the one thing every case had in common was that I had no other romantic/sexual prospects at the time. If you have no love life, every girl who gives you a bit of attention becomes the greatest girl in the world and you imagine your lives together. If you want to prevent this, date more girls. Just realize, you've hung out with this girl for a few …

How did you get to the point where approaching became a part of your everyday life? Right now, I designate a certain amount of time each week to go out and practice. I'll make a special trip to the mall just to make some approaches. I have to take some time to psych myself up and get into enough of a social mood so I can force myself to approach. If I don't do this, I would never approach because I would never be in the right state of mind. People always say "You're always in the field" but how …

Dude! Mexican girls love Americans. They think it's cute when you try to flirt in broken Spanish. Go down to El Centro and do some approaches. You'll be amazed at your results.

Off topic, but I LOVE that you've tested this method 120 times. That's what every poster should aim for before they claim to have the next sure fire method. Great post. Thanks for sharing.

There's nothing inherently wrong with being social for being social's sake, but it sounds like you regret not asking for her number. If that's the case, then you're not doing yourself any favors in that case. But if you approach someone and you feel like it's not going anywhere then there's nothing wrong with not pursuing any further.

This, I think, would help solve a major problem with this sub. That is, it's impossible to know if the advice you're reading is from some keyboard jockey in his mom's basement or someone who actually knows what he's talking about. I think a simpler solution would be if the mods gave flaires to certain users that they have sarged with or can otherwise vouch for. If I browsed on my desktop I would take the time to RES tag certain people, but I only use reddit on my phone.

I think a weekly anything goes thread would be fun. The actual content of this sub is very repeatative. That just comes with the nature of the subject matter. A weekly thread could be pretty entertaining. Sometimes I'll have stories that I think others will find interesting but don't warrant their own FR. I'm sure others have their own stories that I would enjoy reading.

I'm not saying it's difficult to do, I'm just curious what you were doing that took you to all of those places. I don't think I've ever met a chemist, nor have I been inside a police station.

This is called oneitis. I used to get it when a girl would pay even a little bit of attention to me in a way that might be interpreted as romantic interest. The trick to getting over and preventing it from happening in the future is to meet more girls.

And it's easy to fall into the trap of doing a lot of "research" but not actually applying it. If I could redo my experience with r/seduction, I would read the top 5-10 posts of all time and then unsubscribe. At this point I read it for entertainment and to hopefully help others out. Seduction isn't rocket science, so it doesn't take a bunch of reading or watching videos.

I had the most success in Mexico City. My Spanish isn't very good, but I can get by. I think the girls I approached thought it was cute that I was trying to pick them up in their language.

You have to escalate more. Humor is more a tool to get her to open up to you than a tool to build attraction, although it does have that effect to a certain extent. Use kino and have a sexual tone and you'll start to see different results.

Once upon a time, I was a 130lbs kissless virgin. I was sure that no girl could ever love a sack of skin and bones like me. So, I started going to the gym in order to gain some weight. Around the same time, I started reading pickup material and putting it into practice. Sure enough, I started to have some success with women. At my heaviest, I weighed about 165, maybe a couple pounds more. I definitely felt better about myself and I looked better too. But, my motivation to continue lifting weight…

Am I alone I thinking this community puts too much importance on what to say in the first text? 99% of the time, I'll know if a girl is going to respond to my text just based on how our in-person interaction went. I almost always just say "Hey, name. It's Pedantic_Me from place. It was great meeting you yesterday." It's basic, but I've never had the problem of girls not responding. The examples in the link just seem too try-hard to me.

I'm a stutterer too, but I've improved by leaps and bounds. When I'm driving to the bar, I say a vocal exercise that an old professor once mentioned. I say "Tap, Tap, tap went Lizzie's mom and dad on her brother's open window." Make a point to say it slowly and enunciate. Your mouth should make all kinds of shapes that you don't normally make while talking. Also, just speak slower. I find that when I speak slowly, even if I stutter, it doesn't affect me negatively. I just pause, regroup and cont…

Haha yeah you fucked up, but she likes you enough to overlook it. In the future, don't admit to being nervous/inexperienced. As for this girl, get her out on a date, ya goof! Here's my $0.02 about Tinder: The girls who I've had the dirtiest, sexiest conversations with via the app or via text almost always flake. The girls who I have somewhat more normal conversations with almost never flake. Most girls on tinder are at least open to casual hookups, but they don't want to feel pressured to do anything, especially before they even meet you in person. If you get too sexual via text, she will feel like there's too much pressure on her to have sex. Even if she likes you, …

I think it depends on what your goals are. If you're just looking for hookups, I honestly don't know what to tell you. If you're looking for a serious relationship, then I don't think you have a problem at all. Not every girl, no matter how attractive, is going to spark your interest. It's not uncommon for me to have an awesome interaction with a girl, but realize later that I'm not interested in seeing her again. At this point, I'm looking more for a relationship, so if I know right away that a…

/u/DCLX's experience doesn't quite match mine, although he seems to have more experience in the middle east. From what I've seen, public displays of affection beying holding hands are nonexistent. However, a lot of sex is happening behind closed doors. They just don't talk about it as much as we do in America and Europe. It's also worth mentioning that Jordan has a large Christian population, so you don't have to overcome religious differences as you might expect.

I do this in order to keep my momentum up when walking between bars. I ask if there's anything good in the direction where a group is walking from. It usually leads to a bit of a conversation since most people want to give a good recommendation. They'll usually ask what kind of bar I'm looking for and I can vibe off of that.

You're asking for help in multiple subreddits and you're getting the same answers. I've never seen Reddit come to a consensus before, but everyone who is responding thinks it has something to do with your personality. Maybe we're all wrong, or maybe you should take a look at yourself.

You're an insufferable douche, even on the internet where most people are more likeable than they are in person. No one is impressed by what you own. The fact that you have nice things is almost completely irrelevant to seduction. The fact that it's the only detail you included suggests that you believe you deserve women to be attracted you. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the possibility that you aren't building enough attraction during the initial interaction. Be fun, playful, and use kino when you meet new girls. When you text them, try to get her to feel the same emotions she had during your interaction. If you made her laugh, reference whatever it was that she found funny. This is called callback humor.

What you're describing is more like a scene from a movie than something from real life. You don't just all of a sudden decide you like someone midway through having coffee with them.

If you feel like a pig, it's because you feel like you're trying to take something from the girl. This has its roots in low self-esteem. Try working on yourself. Explore new hobbies, read more, watch more movies, work out, do something you have been meaning to do but keep putting off. Then see if your feelings change when approaching women. You should feel like you have something to offer her. Like her life is going to be changed for the better just from meeting you. Before you approach, you sho…

Curious what you guys think about the article saying not to kiss on the first date. Most of what I've read here says you should kiss midway through the first date.

Why don't you start small and ask strangers for the time or for directions? Once you're configurable doing that, do something else that makes you uncomfortable. Slowly work your way up to approaching with the intent of getting her number.

Because this post is about a specific girl, it belongs on /r/askseddit.
/r/seduction01/03/15 04:33 AM

Can you be more specific about how this is hurting your game? Are you saying inappropriate things and creeping girls out? Without standing behind you and listening it's hard to know what to tell you. My guess is it's not so much what you're saying as how you react to it. If you're saying something, realizing what you said was stupid/embarrassing/inappropriate and then you clam up and feel awkward about it, that's probably what is hurting you, not what you actually say.

I feel like online dating, in my case Tinder, is great for practicing your text game. You have an almost endless supply of "practice girls". That said, how much practice do you really need? The other thing that it's good for is practicing going on first dates. One piece of advice I got from here a long time ago was to pick one good first date spot and practice taking girls there until you can knock it out of the park every time. If you Tinder in a big city, you could easily go on a date a day fo…

This is a very vague question, but I'm assuming you mean some combination of building attraction, avoiding the friendzone, maintaining attraction and keeping girls interested. If so, entire books have been written on the subject. My very brief advice is to: Be confident Make your intentions clear Escalate physically. If I had 10 seconds to advise someone before they spent the night at a bar, that's what I would tell them. I'm assuming you're fairly new at this, so take a look at some of the top …

Hey rtabx, welcome to r/seduction. We're a friendly community that just hit over 200,000 subscribers. To control what kind of content gets posted here, there are some rules you can read about in the sidebar. Because this question is about a specific girl, it's better suited for /r/AskSeddit. If you post it there instead, you'll likely get more and better responses. Best of luck with your girl.
/r/seduction26/02/15 10:12 AM

Yes. I think it should be said that posts on r/seduction should be mutually beneficial to both posters and readers. AskSeddit is more beneficial to the poster. It's also important for more experienced users to subscribe to askseddit and answer questions there. It's frustrating when you ask a question there and get no response. It's no wonder why people just take their questions here.

I'm not trying to have a go at anyone. I just want to let new readers who probably haven't read the sidebar what type of posts are needed to make this subreddit as useful for everyone as possible. I also want to remind older users what this place used to be and to help bring it back to its roots. I'm not trying to be disrespectful towards anyone and I don't think I came across that way. Sometimes constructive criticism is necessary.

Vegas is a big enough city that starting a lair should be easy. I've started lairs in two cities, so I'll give you the step by step guide. Create a subreddit. r/LasVegasSeddit or r/SinCitySeddit. No amount of reading will help your inner game because the formula for inner game isn't in a book. If you've read the sidebar, Models and How to Win Friends and Influence People, you know what you have to do, it's Just a matter of doing if. You do both and see which one works better for you. Then, you do that one more. My advice would be to work hard on creating a large social circle. The biggest thing for me so far has been to start working out. I have always been very skinny and once I started lifting weights and gaining weight, I saw my confidence grow. I didn't even realize that being skinny was hurting my self-confidence, but apparently it was. Another thing you can do is to buy yourself some nice clothes. When you know you look good, you feel better about yourself. To be completely honest, I haven't been making significant progress in my love life, but my social life is…

What qualifies as a lair? Another redditor and I are trying to start one in San Diego. Our first meetup was just the two of us, but it's a start, right? Edit: For those interested, check out /r/SanDiegoSeddit.

In my opinion, this applies to many more places than just a bar. If you're with friends that you could be talking to face-to-face, keep your phone in your pocket.

Watch funny people, but don't steal their jokes. There's nothing more annoying than someone who passes off another person's jokes as their own. Watch comedians for tips on how to deliver a joke.

Sure, but being a city known for it's military presence doesn't mean its bars are filled with drunken, aggressive sailors. You're stereotyping the city and stereotyping the people who join the military.
/r/seduction25/11/12 10:20 PM

But that's only a small portion of what the city has to offer. There are 7.5 million people in SF and 1.3 million in SD. To blanket the entire city as being full of drunken sailors, surfers and meth dealers or gays and hipsters is extremely narrow minded.

I'm curious if you've ever lived in San Diego. Maybe some bars are full of "aggressive, drunken asshole sailors" but there are plenty that aren't. Just because the San Diegans you knew were mostly surfers and meth dealers doesn't mean that the rest of us are. Your comment is the equivalent of responding to "How is life for singles in San Francisco?" with "It's full of gays and hipsters." OP, San Diego is awesome and we have a little bit of everything. North Park is full of young people and has s…

You invite the 10 girls and no one else? It seems like that would lead to a really awkward interaction when two girls who you don't know very well show up at your place. Wouldn't it be better to throw a bigger party, invite the 10 girls to come, and then see who shows?

I was really shy in high school, so college for me was a fresh start. Not knowing anyone was the best thing that could have happened to me. I had no one's expectations to live up to and I could be anyone I wanted. It truly was a chance to reinvent myself.

I think intelligence might not play a large role in the initial attraction, especially for day game cold approaches and club game. But if you want to be "boyfriend material" and continue to build attraction, it will work to your benefit to be intelligent. Eventually, girls, like everyone else, will get bored of stupid lines if that is all you offer.

If I know she has a boyfriend, I won't pursue her. Often girls will say they have a boyfriend even when they don't, so you can't bail out too soon. Get her number, get to know her more and if she actually does have a boyfriend, get out of his way.

I've been spending a lot of time in the gym this Summer trying to get in shape. As someone who has always been extremely skinny, a little muscle mass has really helped my confidence. I've also been doing some hiking as well as picking the guitar up again after not playing for a couple years.

What sillymallard said. You could potentially jeopardize your job if a woman complains about your advances.

I think the general thought is that waitresses are paid to be nice to you, so it's hard to gauge whether or not their IOIs are genuine. However, they are people just like you and me and they are just as likely to be attracted to you as any random woman on the street. I say, if you think she's into you, go for the #-close. The worst she can say is no. It might be kind of awkward if you're a regular at the place though.

I've been lifting regularly for close to 7 months and gone from 130 lbs to 157 lbs, so I'm bigger, but still not huge. The biggest difference is in my own confidence, which translates to more confident behavior and body language, which, in turn, is more attractive to women. Women aren't going to approach you because you're big, but feeling good about yourself will make it easier for you to approach them.

It's (probably) not going to happen until you meet up for a date. For future reference, don't text unless it's to set up a date. You can learn about her likes and be witty in person. With this particular girl, I would send her one last text asking her out for coffee/lunch, etc. If she declines, move on.

You're fucking awesome. You're not an obstacle getting in the way of the girl's goals. You're saving her from her mediocre book and giving her the chance of a lifetime to spend time with a cool mofo like you.

I go to school in San Diego, but I'm only 20 and not really into the bar/club scene. A lot of my friends like a bar called Toronado and another one called Tiger Tiger, but those aren't very near Comic-Con. You could try the Hard Rock hotel. I'm sure they have a classy bar inside. Just walk around the Gas Lamp area at night and you'll find a bar you like. They're literally everywhere down there. I would also suggest doing daygame at comic con. SimplePickup made a video about that and were very su…

What is your honest opinion of MFA? To me, they seem to have some good advice, but they err on the side of being formal to a fault. By that, I mean their idea of casual is too formal and anyone out and about dressed like that would look out of place. Also, they all dress to preppy for my liking.

My analysis: Everything you said was fine. It's your actions that let you down. When you first approached and made the comment about the driver, you should have continued to the conversation from there. You shouldn't have let her walk away. Now, you had to follow her into the next aisle and restart the convo, and then you make the same mistake again and let her go one more time and have to keep chasing. All in all, this isn't bad for a first approach. You went for it and, unfortunately, she just…

Directly related to Seduction: I'm trying to summon the cajones to approach. Indirectly related to Seduction: I'm hitting the gym hard to gain some weight and improve my confidence. Edit: I wrote this answer before I read your whole post. I recommend going to r/gainit. I've tried to gain weight before, but it wasn't until I found that subreddit that I was successful. They are very motivational. Since January, I've gone form 130 lbs to 155 lbs.
