4 years? Dude your approach must suck. I hope you're following language classes. Besides that constant exposure is key. Watch local tv (with subtitles if possible) and write down words you don't understant. When you're outside don't resort to English because it's easy but force yourself to speak the local language. You'll probably always have an accent but you can get amazingly fluent if you work hard enough. I'm fluent in three languages so I'm a living example.
/r/askTRP14/08/18 11:24 PM
1

you know, you could integrate and learn the local language. It's a bit far fetched, I know, but give it a try
/r/askTRP13/08/18 11:43 PM
1

What an amazing reply. Thank you sir!

I will quote the late Nathaniel Branden: Self-esteem is the disposition to experience oneself as competent to cope with the basic challenges of life and as worthy of happiness.
/r/seduction13/07/18 11:39 PM
1

True confidence has nothing to do with your looks (although it makes it easier). What confidence issues do you have besides your weight? You're a bit younger than me and have more experience with women than I have, so I think your confidence isn't that bad at all.
/r/seduction13/07/18 10:39 AM
1

this is actually a great mindset. Thanks
/r/seduction04/07/18 11:42 PM

I'll circumvent your paradox: DGAF about things that aren't in your direct control. Lifting -> your choise so GAF! Height -> nothing you can do about this, DGAF Rejected by a girl -> you can't force her to like you so DGAF balding -> you can't help this: DGAF Your style -> While you can't prevent balding, you can manage your hairsyle. Don't comb over you few remaining hairs but shave it, get a wig, transplant, whatever etc. etc.
/r/askTRP01/07/18 12:10 AM

I disagree. Like I said, pua tricks aren't necesarry. But being good with women is a skill. I'm good looking. I've overheard girls tell each other I'm gorgeous. Yet I completely lack 'game' (ie sexual confidence around women) so I fuck it up every time. Despite my good looks.
/r/seduction19/06/18 05:53 PM

Sure, some of the 'tricks' can be. I personally see game as confidence with women. You don't need stuff like FTC and peacocking to be good with women (allthough it helps for many!).
/r/seduction18/06/18 09:23 AM
2

Absolutely. I guess I've reached the age where I'm no longer interested in going to clubs every week.
/r/seduction17/06/18 09:23 PM
1

Wow, I appreciate the advice! I'm actually quite bad at direct openers, I guess I'll have to learn a lot.
/r/seduction17/06/18 02:25 PM
1

Yeah I've been thinking about the club part too. I started a language class last year but except for 1 girl everyone is over 40 lol
/r/seduction17/06/18 02:21 PM
1

How so?
/r/seduction17/06/18 02:20 PM
1

What I'm saying is lifting is not the best advice for someone that's looking to increase his confidence.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 08:35 PM
1

Wanna eat some?
/r/askTRP22/05/18 08:20 PM
1

If you cannot lift due to medical reasons (see one of the recent posts) this isn't true.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 08:19 PM
1

Hey man, I know how you feel. I had to give up lifting after 3 years due to an injury. I felt like crap at first, thinking I'd be a pussy forever. Seeing that muscle mass melt every day is depressing. But now I feel fine. Sure I'd prefer being able to lift, but I don't really care anymore. I focus on other areas of my life. Figure out what sports you can do. You might not get ripped but become a great runner or swimmer.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 07:20 PM
1

Yeah dude, just ignore your doctor's advice and life bruh
/r/askTRP22/05/18 07:16 PM
1

This. It's a shame that most of TRP's advice is pushed away by noobs who jus scream 'LIFT BRUUUUUUH' We all know that fat guy who is awesome and great with women. Or skinny guys that are scaring as fuck when mad.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 07:13 PM
2

I agree, but your advice is too general. Lose and lose again. Sure you'll realise that you're still alive, but your confidence will be shattered because you always fail. A pretty bad outcome. You should learn from your failures and then try again. But never blindly try and try again.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 07:09 PM
1

Lousy advice. Once you stop lifting, you lose all the confidence.
/r/askTRP22/05/18 07:07 PM
1

You could tell him about a prenup, make sure he can prove that his purchases are actually his, etc. But no, don't try to make him change his mind, even if he's close.
/r/askTRP18/05/18 05:40 PM
1

Unless it's a really close friend, do not, I repeat, DO NOT do anything. Maybe they'll be happy, maybe they won't. Changing his mind about his love will only make him resent you. Be there for them if the marriage fails, at least if they didn't drop you completely before.

Would you visit a hooker to have sex with her
/r/askTRP17/05/18 02:27 PM
3

Yeah, I understan ya. But how do you feel when fucking 'normal' chicks?
/r/askTRP17/05/18 02:26 PM
1

Any more credible source? Sure the risk of getting something per dude she's fucking is smaller because she's doing it safe, but a hooker fucks so many guys though
/r/askTRP17/05/18 02:25 PM
1

Yeah that's what I meant. The catching something part is what's holding me back
/r/askTRP17/05/18 02:25 PM
1

I completely understand what you mean. But I'd do it for the experience, to know what it feels like. No intention of doing this regularly (I don't have the cash for it tbh). And it's been a while since I got laid, lol
/r/seduction15/05/18 05:51 PM
2

Like room says, this would be a one-time endeavor. Fucking hookers is frowned opon, considered 'not normal', so fucking one would be stepping outside my comfort zone as a nice guy. No plans to turn this into a habit.
/r/askTRP15/05/18 05:50 PM
2

Touché my friend. But to be honest, escorts fuck way more guys than other girls.
/r/askTRP15/05/18 05:48 PM

Great that you're confident without being huge. I agree that everyone should have high self-esteem regardless of external factors (not that being huge, succesful, handsome, etc. don't help). Where does your confidence come from?
/r/askTRP30/03/18 02:38 PM

I don't mean which goals to pursue, but how to write a goal, review it etc.
/r/seduction12/03/18 01:48 AM

You'll actually be over 3700% better thanks to the compouding effect. Amazing if you think about it! Thanks for the tip, I will keep it in mind with the good weather coming up
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:16 PM

You're definitely right about it being a mucle! But it's hard to lift heavy weights with weak muscles :-(
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:15 PM

Any tips in setting goals?
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:10 PM

Nathaniel Branden also talks about self-acceptance in the six pillars of self-esteem. I've put the book on my to read list!
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:10 PM
3

Body language definitely helps!
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:09 PM

Conversations aren't really the issue. I mean, I definitely could be a better conversationalist, but I'm doing okay. But when someone (eg a coworker) tries to take advantage of me, or my boss is acting inpolite, I don't have the courage/assertiveness to put them in their place. Reading "when I say no I feel guilty" has helped me, but only in certain situations.
/r/seduction11/03/18 11:09 PM
1

You paved the way for the guy. She wasn't interested at all, yet you stayed with her and probably creeped her out. He 'saved' her from you.

Read the six pillars of self-esteem, specifically pillars two and four Self-acceptance Self-assertiveness These offer a clue of what you're looking for. But I'm right there with you in your search for confidence

There's a line between busting each others balls for fun and insulting someone. I think OP is talking about the latter
/r/askTRP02/01/18 12:34 AM
1

Yeah that poses a certain risk, however he's not the guy to gossip about other people (at least not when he's talking to me).
/r/askTRP25/12/17 12:17 AM
2

That's some solid advice man, thanks. Only problem is getting alone with him since we work office hours and he's not the type to do many overtime
/r/askTRP24/12/17 01:21 AM
2

I understand your situation. My experience: it isn't worth trying to change your standing. Like someone else said, your role in the group is fixed and it is very, very hard to change this. Your energy is best spent on your current group and meeting new people. A few weeks ago I went out with my high school group after about 1.5 years. I was a really shy kid in school so I was very happy to have this circle. Mind you, I genuinly remember them as friends, they are good guys. But I was absolelutely…

Standard bantering just comes with practice. Don't hang around people who put you down maliciously. It's not simply guys having fun, this guy has targetted me for some reason. Any help in cutting him out from my circle of friends? For what it's worth, this is a shit response to a shit insult. It sounds like something out of junior high. Don't even validate it with a response. How would you reply? I love analyzing this, I can never learn enough answers to shit tests (abd that's the problem: I can…
/r/askTRP22/11/17 01:26 AM
1

I agree with both of you. but it's hard to cut someone out when he's part of my main gang, especially when I'm the one who introduced him. I may stop inviting him, but others will still invite him. Besides, there will always be people trying to shit on you, whether it's at work, an amog at a party or who knows. So I need to become better at holding frame.

Don't want to hurt her feelz I guess
/r/askTRP11/10/17 10:51 AM

Yup gonna go with the ignore route. Thing is I liked talking to her and wouldn't mind hanging out, just nothing sexual
/r/askTRP11/10/17 10:51 AM

She is kinda fat ...
/r/askTRP11/10/17 10:50 AM

Totally not interested in her, why should I fuck her? I'd feel digusting afterwards (or worse, won't even get it up because I'm not attracted) Mid 20s

Interesting replies. Do any of you make slides in powerpoint to summarize what they read? I always use these made by professors to study for my exams (and read the book where more clearance is needed)

Sure I get that. But I'm thinking that investing my time in game and simple pua techniques will give me a higher ROI on getting women than regular self improvement.

I appreciate the advice, I will definitely check out this stuff.

This is what I'm realizing. So what's the use of SMV then if it's better to be a low SMV guy with tight game than a good-high SMV guy with lousy game like me. Should I abandon my goal of self improvement and just go out every day to learn game?
/r/askTRP25/06/17 03:31 AM

What a coincidence, Im also reading this book! However, while I find his analysis of self esteem extremely good, he doesn't offer very much too raise imo. 90% of his treatments consists of writing sentenced, it's not very helpfull for me. Or am I doing something wrong here?
/r/seduction09/06/17 01:26 AM

Trp doesn't care about money? He's a power hungry narcissist. I don't understand TRP's fascination with him at all, he has the complete opposite of IDGAF

Just to be clear: I opened the first set of girls expecting to be rejected. I know that opener sucked. It's the last girl that was impolite. I don't think I have a desperate vibe (Ive been alone for quite some time now so a few months more don't matter. I was also dancing and having fun. But I'll definitely keep your advice in mind!

Someone on TRP (I forgot who, sorry) said it in a way that clicked for me: Don't give a fuck about things you can't control. Example about your looks: DGAF about being short or balding (as far as I know male pattern baldness can't be helped by eating healthier or sleeping more, but maybe a professional can explain this better). Do give a fuck about being overweight or really skinny. Yes you might have bad genes that causes you gain weight really easily (or vice versa), but it is in your control …

Good that you think that way. And I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, I just wish we could have more open minded discussions about politics on TRP
/r/askTRP23/05/16 01:23 AM

TRP fascinates me with how much of its content is spot on and how people are willing to discuss anything, not caring about political correctness. yet when it comes to politics, there is little debate in the RP community. Trump is the only choice. I can understand how the RP finds Trump fascinating with his amazing frame skills, but you can be alpha/red/whatever even if you have another political opinion.

four possible reasons: You watch too much porn and/or jack off too much Physical/health: eath healthier (loose weight if you're overweight) and stop smoking and drinking alcohol Anxiety related the girl is fugly Do you get boners when waking up and random boners throughout the day? If so then it probably won't be physical. Taking Viagra MIGHT help if anxiety is the reason, but be very careful.
