When I ask questions on here, everybody always tells me to “not give a fuck.” But I find that there’s a paradox to the whole IDGAF thing.
The main paradox is that while IDGAF apparently gets results, we do the things we do (lifting, learning game, etc.) specifically to get a positive reaction from girls; therefore, we do give a fuck. We give a lot of fucks, actually. There’s a reason this is a sexual strategy sub.
And also on that topic, other people are gatekeepers for you to be able to get what you want in life (money, power, women, etc.); you need the consent of other people to have these things. If you don’t, then you won’t even be able to get what you need to survive. Therefore, you have to give a fuck about what other people think of you in order to survive in this world. And in today’s world, one wrong move/mistake and all of your career prospects are ruined forever.
And there’s also the whole thing that people can smell this attitude from a mile away and are instantly turned off because of it.
This makes this whole IDGAF thing extremely confusing, especially because I’ve never had an abundance of positive results in my life (21 years old, kissless virgin, unpopular, skinnyfat, starting my first-ever REAL, career-related job on Tuesday, living with my parents). Please clear it up for me, and explain it like I’m a little kid in a way that doesn’t confuse me.
