Yes. Even after dating for a bit you can't be sure. The guy I dated last was amazing for several months. I hesitated to call him HVM even though he did nearly everything right. I was still wary. A few months ago he wanted to take our relationship to the next level. That would have been us dating at 8 months. I allowed my heart to relax at that point as I wanted to give it an honest try. I told him that I would like to see how things go in the next 1/2 months, and if it goes well, we can go ahead…

Weak men blame women for men's issues because they are seen as weaker targets and it conveniently stops them from actually fixing societal issues facing men. It's like when an abuser hits women but wouldn't fight with a man one on one.

I'm finding it so hard to leave. We've been dating for a year and the #1 thing I loved about him since we met was that he was so nice - not the "Nice Guy" kind of nice but he seemed so emotionally mature and kind about my sensitivities. A couple of months ago he brought up marriage (not the first time, btw we are in our early 30s) and although I had asked him to take it slow every step of the way, I finally told him that I would consider it and want to see how our relationship goes for the next …

No answer is the right answer. Keep in mind these MRA types study this sub and will use these sorts of comments to trick women. They'll figure out what to say and unsuspecting women will think it a green flag. Judge him by his behavior and how consistent he is with it above all else.

Incredible woman!! Note, she did not beat Usain Bolt's record for world title, as in speed, but she has more gold medals than him and holds the highest amount of wins. I've seen this circulated around before and it confused a lot of people.

What a wonderful post. It especially hit me when you said: I also really embrace my inner child so I cry a lot Because I am the same way. I'm an emotional person, but I'm not out of control. I just allow myself to feel things all the way. Some men have yelled at me for it. Some men have been cold about it. Some men find ways to be manipulative....the man I'm dating now has never made me feel bad or stupid for being emotional. He is kind and embraces it and helps me through things if needed or ju…

Frankly I came here for dating advice and as a place to bring up ourselves and other women but 90% of what's posted are screenshots, memes, and complaints of men. Some of that is okay, but it needs to be limited. If women don't want to date that's perfectly valid and acceptable, but why are they on r/femaleDATINGstrategy in that case? I'm getting real close to just closing my Reddit account and sticking to watching videos on YouTube that give FDS-type dating advice (Chloe_ or SheRaSeven1 for exa…

Can you imagine thinking of a boob like you think of a shoulder or a foot or any other body part? I think of them that way but only when I'm around other women, like a change room or when having sleepovers or around a breastfeeding mother. Men are the issue. Even if women are attracted to women, they don't make it an issue and get gross about it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/05/20 05:00 PM
71

Several issues. One is the obvious where most men don't really know that what they're envisioning is a no-makeup or light makeup look. Look at their behaviour, not their words. The made-up women are the ones they lust after. Even the same woman who is beautiful with zero makeup, is always paid attention to and preferred more when she has some makeup on. Another issue is that, well, who asked them? Most men think we are dying to hear their opinion and lap it up like a Pickmeisha. It's another typ…

Rather than shame or look down upon the individual women doing this, I think about the bigger picture. Women do this because of the gender pay gap and discrimination in work opportunities. Many women are in poverty and sex work seems like "easy" money. If a young woman finds work it's usually minimum wage or babysitting or something. Most young men who look for lower skilled work can make like $20/hr in construction. Women can up their income of course with a more prestigious job but not everybo…

LVM will try to convince you that the pickings are slim. This is not true. Don't fall for their traps. Men are abundant. You may have to move out of your area if the demographics are poor in your town but good men are out there. Also you've got to be the best version of yourself at the same time. Just go on Tinder and see how badly the numbers are skewed in favour of women. Remove that scarcity mindset! You will find a good guy you're attracted to.

What is the point of marriage for so many people (MEN) when it doesn't mean anything in times of ill health?! Just because your spouse is sick that doesn't mean you should fuck around with others. Her husband is TRASH.

Keep in mind you've only known him for 2 months and any man can keep up that facade for such a short amount of time. It's still the Honeymoon phase and you're idealizing him. If he treated you well, that's great, that means you can attract and develop a relationship with a good guy. But there are others. He let you go, and your life is your own. Build it and forget about him.

I agree and it's never worth it to do this on a first date or so. Later on when a relationship develops you'll have a better understanding of his habits and character, and the occasional rescheduling can be NBD. But before a first date, you two are nobodies to one another. If you change your plans to suit the other person, they will, at least subconsciously, think less of you. For your case, just block him without a reply. He's not actually sick. If he was he wouldn't have asked to see you so so…

A few things. 1) Homemade porn can just as well be hidden cameras and/or revenge porn. You don't know for sure. 2) While men watch more of the degrading type porn, it's a myth that women viewers just watch romantic style sex videos. More and more they are watching things like gangbangs, DP and rough sex. 3) When you watch porn your dopamine receptors are firing and you eventually need more and more variety in order to get the same hit. This makes most viewers watch crazier stuff just to get off.…

It's been shown that making places like that easily accessible encourages groupthink and more extremist views as they create an echo chamber. Sometimes the sub sounds like it's Red Pill Women but with a different attitude about men. No thanks. FDS is about first and foremost gaining the best benefit for yourself in whatever relationship you choose. Of course you're not benefitting from a lacklustre FWB situationship if you have feelings for the guy and think that fucking him will make him turn you into a girlfriend. But if you're in control, do not want marriage or commitment, have your life together, and have a FWB that is attuned to…

Lol what? I didn't say it does. But even in the Guidebook it says that if you want FWB or a non committed relationship then you can do that.

How do you not catch feelings?! Of course you’re going to. Honestly some people just don't. It's not the most common but not everyone will catch feelings. I wouldn't promote fuck buddies but if it works for some people then they're an exception.

I know that this is a direct result of the sub growing larger, but is there a solution to directing the new posts with questions like "should I ask him out?” or "should I have sex with him after 2 dates?” to one stickied post? I know this particular weekly post would be the best place for them, but the newer posters don't seem to use it. Maybe if it were a daily post, or one specifically for newbie advice? It's just mildly annoying that their concerns are addressed in the Guidebook with simple a…

He's using "sports" as a cover-up for how inadequate he feels as a man, husband, and father because he can barely make ends meet. He knows if she works that they will have a more comfortable life directly due to her actions and independence. He would rather be poor and have his family suffer than confront his ego. Pathetic.

Men overwhelmingly gain the most when they have a woman move in with them. I wouldn't move in with someone before marriage. I think it's reasonable to move in with a ring and a set wedding date as well. Just think of the practical issues when it comes to moving in with someone and don't be blinded by emotion. Make it hard for them to leave you.

Don't have sex before commitment has been established (if you're looking for a relationship) or before he has demonstrated value and investment (if you're looking for FWBs). If a man is really into you and sees you as girlfriend material, he will commit to you in two months (or three months max). If you're looking to have a dependable FWB, you must still require investment from him so he provides you the respect and fun times that you want. A woman's looks has nothing to do with the way men treat her, and everything to do with the men themselves. Men will treat attractive women poorly. Men will treat less attractive women poorly. Men will treat supermodels poorly. It has nothing to do with looks. Attractive girlfriends are often a status symbol, this is just the reality of life. You don't know how things really are within the relationship.

It's an LDR so it's perfectly fine to tell him over the phone or however you usually communicate IMHO. If he hasn't done anything abusive or wrong and you're just not feeling it then I think you should be kind & fair, but firm, and give him a bit of heads up. For e.g. ask if it's a good time to talk, and don't just spring it up on him when he is busy or it may be late where he is. I wouldn't wait the 6 weeks to dump him. The earlier the better.

Sure but there's a lot in between moving that slowly you showed as an example in your post vs locking it down very early. Men usually move quickly because they want to make sure you're not dating others. They do not get anywhere near the amount of attention or opportunities that we do. For that reason I don't see his push for commitment so early as anything to get excited about. Sure if you don't want to get married. Or I think if the couple are very young. If you started dating at 15 then you're obviously not going to marry until much later. If you're hoping to marry and are just waiting it out then it's not in your best interest to stay in a long term relationship.

Solids make it easier for the fabric to look more "expensive" and avoids that dated look. You need to figure out what it is you're missing or where you feel empty that you're CHOOSING men like this. I highly recommend the blog/book Baggage Reclaim for this issue specifically. Her stuff should really be required reading and in the sidebar.

He's an adult. He won't starve himself. He'll just throw a tantrum and act like he can't make/buy/prepare food. It isn't cute to be involved with someone like this.

Fuck those kinds of men who want children, but end up not wanting the mother of their children anymore. Childbirth and age changes your body, deal with it and love the person. The woman sounds perfectly fine. I am angry that her husband has been cruel to her.

Even a skilled sexual partner can't make you orgasm. You have to allow it to build up and "let go", especially if it gets to the point of squirting. If she had a satisfying sexual relationship before, she would know how to build it up again, and would recognize that her current partner is at best uneducated and at worst selfish. Something doesn't add up.

not even transportation fees I mean, I agree if we're talking about further distances or day trips, but if I'm driving to a date spot I'm not going to ask him for the $2.75 it takes in my gas to meet him somewhere. Later on it's fine if my date picks me up but it's not something you should do at first so this can confuse some women.

You would think Male Dating Strategy would be on board with and one and the same as FDS, but it seems to be a sad cover-up for the new Red Pill sub 🙄 I'm not here cause I hate men or want to take advantage of them or their paychecks. I'm here to keep my self worth high and navigate through the world of dating and relationships in a way that IGNORES toxic messages from society (and most of the relationship subs on Reddit) and PROTECTS me from unhealthy behaviours and situations with men. That sub…

There's nothing wrong with looking your age or even older. Some people just have more mature looking faces vs baby faces. But I do absolutely agree most women take care of themselves better than most men. The manosphere community is so delusional about women's looks, they grasp at everything they can to try and weaken women's self esteem and one way is by attacking their looks, as if women don't have enough pressure from society already. We're ALL going to age, embrace it and take care of yourse…

YW. I had seen on a recent post that men mostly suggest bar/coffee/free dates in order to spend the least amount of effort on the most amount of women. If he's a normal guy with a budget but with good intentions, he will have good standards for the women he asks out and will be looking for quality over quantity, not just to stick it in.

You need to accept that there will be temporary discomfort for a long term benefit. He will say anything to guilt trip you and keep himself in a comfortable position. He is an emotional leech. Stand up for your future self. Don't worry about this whole 2020 thing. It's arbitrary. Don't waste the entire year for a couple weeks of mistakes. The point is to constantly work towards a goal, not beat yourself up over some mistakes.

I do not want to go on OLD. Girl what? Then don't go on OLD. Take some time off for yourself, learn from this relationship and go through some self growth. Don't jump back into dating men til you've figured some things out and can better handle your boundaries and standards. No need to get ahead of yourself. Work on your self esteem and that negative self talk so you don't find yourself in the same position again.

"I'll consider under 18" that's seriously gross. There's NO reason a man that age should be hanging around a child. Also maybe this guy should make friends, find some hobbies, make himself happy after his hard year instead of expecting a random young woman to be his arm candy. Absolute LVM.

It's fine. If the guy is already pursuing you and clearly interested, sending the first text occasionally is normal and not detrimental. I'd keep it light and fun, maybe with a photo of something interesting you're doing or a funny meme. The truth is that while women can do all of those things (work, study have businesses, etc) and do them well, when we are attached to a shitty male we always end up doing WAY more of the work than is fair. Women are for the most part responsible and considerate and WANT everyone in their family/social circle to be happy. We pick up the slack of LVMs we let have too much power in our lives. THEN we can't handle it all because no one person is ever meant to handle it all. LVMs are entitled leeches…

You can't make your relationship FDS, but you can apply FDS to your current relationship. The main issue is that he doesn't want to get married, and at least not for the distant future. What often happens is that guys like this say that to their years-long gf, eventually break it off, then marry the next person they date extremely fast. Don't be one of those women. This relationship is not fulfilling you and you can do better. Take your lessons learned and move forward without him.

As you improve and level up you'll notice more the kinds of things you don't want in your life. Those undesirable traits will become more pronounced, especially if it's the exact opposite of how you portray yourself to them. However, there is a depth to this behind just opposing types - the characteristics in these men that you really dislike are activating your shadow self. What an absolute loser. It's perfectly fine for people to choose to be childfree, or to adopt, but this old man is so fucking entitled. If he wants love he could date someone age appropriate, without that power imbalance of buying an overseas wife. Women past childbearing years aren't this fucking entitled. We just end up adopting animals or volunteering our time to the community. He needs to get over himself!

How many dates have you been on with him? When did you schedule the date? Where did he say he was taking you? Did he ask you out to dinner or an evening show? If so, and let's say you both know you both work until 5pm, I think confirming the exact time today is fine, but if your plans were vague and you didn't know what you'd be doing, I'd tell him that you had made other plans since you heard from him very late.

Soft boys are fuckboys who use emotions and flowery words to get into a girl's pants rather than just physical/sexual appeal. They're worse than fuckboys in my opinion because they are a lot more manipulative and sneaky. They make women think they're special and they dangle a relationship in front of them, but once they're bored they drop the act. What's more, they often act like the victim afterwards, so that they could get pity sex in the future.

When is "later on"? Honestly I would tell him to propose when he's actually ready. You're committing to someone who can't spend more than $60 on a ring yet???? How old are you? Women with hourglass body types are a small percent of the population. They're not the only ones having children-women with "pear" shapes, "banana" shapes, and "apple" shapes (the names are dumb but you know what I'm referring to) have plenty of children. I understand that hips, tits and ass are sexually attractive, but all body shapes can be fertile.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/01/20 04:50 PM

Studies show that most men are attracted to women with curves and meat on their bones; the high-fertility hourglass shapes (like Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara or Halle Berry), not low-fertility apple shapes or no-fertility chopstick shapes. Her saying it like that disgusts me as it sounds body-shamey. Nobody can help their body shape for the most part! Let's not do this to fellow women.

In 99.9% of cases, if he is actually interested in you he will ask you during the date, the same night, or the next day. Guys who wait a while typically aren't interested. I wouldn't necessarily block the guy but I would not contact him afterward other than to say a thank you for the date, no matter how well the date went. I'm not about to pursue a guy.

I'm 5'4 and although I don't mind dating just a few inches taller (and I have) the majority of the guys who've actually pursued me relationship-wise have been around 6'-6'4". People act like it's only short women who lust after tall men - plenty of tall men LOVE short women! I'm tired of people blaming the women in every damn case.

You need to slow it down and stop trying. Let him put effort into you and plan the dates. Control yourself and your emotions. Purposefully plan something else and date others in the meantime. The reason you're doing this is because you're afraid you'll miss out on him/a LTR. That couldn't be further from the truth. You need to use strategy rather than be ruled by your emotions. Nothing is MAKING you act desperate but YOURSELF.

I always found it funny when men on the RP subs would say that "men are the gatekeepers of commitment". Men are quick to get into relationships and commit. Every man I've dated wanted to lock it down much earlier than I did. But the majority of those men are not the kinds you or I should want to be with. FDS is great because it also forces YOU to evaluate a guy based on more than just feelings and on objective traits to protect yourself and ensure a better relationship. Getting commitment out of…

Do not wait it out. If there is any hope of you two getting married, it's if you leave him now. Don't be rude about leaving, be kind but firm, and go no contact for a while. To be honest you two should have spoken about the future long before being together for a year. Get out there and date yourself, do new things, date others, but go no contact. He either wasn't the right one for you anyway, or he will come back. And don't consider him unless he has a ring.

It's rare among people but even more amongst men. I'm dating someone with a high level of emotional maturity, honestly more advanced than myself. If there's ever an issue or a misunderstanding we talk through it. He doesn't let things fester until they've become something bigger. He listens and cooperates with me towards a solution. He shows his appreciation freely and easily. It's really grounding to be dating someone who does their part.

There are absolutely guys who just "fit" better and who have the skills along with the mutual chemistry to make PIV sex amazing. The guy I am currently dating has blown me away with how good the sex is, even though I've always had good experiences before.

but I don't know if I can be physically attracted to someone who is on the bigger, softer side. You don't go into a relationship trying to change someone. If you're not attracted to him, he's a friend, and there's nothing wrong with having great guy friends. He physically sounds more like my type though, so I say let him go and find someone who is super into him.

This comment was amazing 🙌🙌🙌 All women, every one of us have a backup of power deep within us. Its what allows a woman to save her child that's pinned beneath a car, or take abuse meant for a child. YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR POWER! There's no going bellied up when you have 2 children you have to FIGHT FOR. You going to let them win? To beat you down? Can you look at your babies and just give up? Fight! Let us fight with you!

Drop this dead weight. Make new friends, do new things, do things alone. Those are infinitely better uses of your time than this guy who's wasting your time and resources.

Don't want to end a relationship just based on going out I feel like that's not the only issue. He seems controlling and hypocritical. There's probably more to it.

Yep. He's going to throw a tantrum now. Don't take anything he says or does personally.

Pimps also have "jobs" and will fly women out for human trafficking purposes! Just keep that in mind, your safety trumps any interest or attention a guy puts on you.

So, why is he a "quality guy"? All we know is what he does for a living. I would not trust a literal stranger nobody with my name, birth date and other information needed to book a flight. If he really wants to see you he can visit you. Let some other dummie fall for this. There are other decent men out there.

It looks like his wedding present is having his student debt paid off.

What's done is done. Let it go. You're human. You will learn from this. You will have better experiences ahead of you. Try new things, meet new people and keep busy as a way to build your confidence back up again. One of my favourite quotes for times like this is: Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick, and pull yourself together. :)

I think you should stay logical and keep in mind that it's still date #1 and that texting before meeting (heck, even texting after meeting often times) does not establish a real relationship, so do not think that all the texting you two did beforehand gives him a shortcut to anything. Follow the points on the sidebar, get to know him slowly, let him show you what kind of person he is. Date other people as well so you're not hyper focused on this guy.

That's way too much effort speaking to someone who put very little effort into speaking with you. You cannot lecture or shame someone into doing what you want.

It's the FDS strategy. Feelings can lie to you. Guys can play the game for some time just to get into your pants. Even if he's a decent guy, introducing sex when there isn't any investment can tilt the budding relationship into a different direction. Always get that investment (not specifically talking about money here but an investment of time, emotions, care towards you, the degree of commitment you're comfortable with etc). I'd say as long as you recognize this, not let your feelings get ahea…

Two benefits of keeping communication on the app is that you can more easily block them if needed (sure you can do it on your phone, but they still have your number and can spam it), or report them if they were inappropriate on or before the first date.

I agree with you, her response was a little premature. He offered two reasonable options, choosing the preferred one was all that was needed to make a statement.

He told you he doesn't want anything serious. You two haven't even met, you have no idea if he's genuine, polite or that great of a person. Let him do his thing while you're focused on your goals. There are other good men out there.

Take it as a loss, take the lesson and move on to the next. He isn't that special.
