I never said that women's experiences aren't valid, i'm just trying to point out that men can also go through horrible things. The "makeup" comparisen may sound mean or stupid, but it feels oddly true. I've seen girls straight up laugh at male abuse victims and invalidating their experiences, ASPECIALLY when their abuser is female.
