Exactly. I'm currently dating a great girl yet this post is telling me I should be dating other girls too although I have zero interest to do so. Don't play games unless you feel happy doing so. But don't act offended if you become played too. Girls are human too, not some trophy you have on the side.

There's nothing wrong about giving a shit. It's what you give a shit about that's important, cause that's something you can decide yourself

Dude, you did it yourself, this subredit only makes you realise that you can do it yourself

A "league" only exists in your head dude. There's no such thing as someone being out of your league, you're giving yourself way too little value by doing so

To go with your picture example. If you do that because you think it's what others want to see, and hope they'll respond positively and make you feel better, that's neediness. If you do it because you want to, and take the responses for what they are, then you'll also feel better because of them, but this time because you wanted it. Not because you thought it's what others wanted from you

Exactly but that said: there's nothing wrong with light conversation through texting. Emphasize on light though.

Fear lies, learn to conquer it. That's quite good!

I agree, nice guys are those who are afraid to follow their own intentions because it might offend someone. That said, i think the term is pretty easy to misinterpret by those who need to understand it.

There’s a reason why smart guys realize that the same ‘inner game’ tactics you use in order to be attractive to women are actually applicable to how attractive you find yourself, too. This is big, especially in self-improvement. It sounds cliche, but it's true. Love yourself before you love others. If you are comfortable with who you are, then you'll be comfortable with what you do and what your actions are too

I'm going through exactly this with my girlfriend (or ex girlfriend). We're in a bit of a weird situation because of her feelings and worries. She's completely locked up though as a person. She's used to tackling her problems herself and not talking about her emotions or feelings very much. I however am quite the opposite. So I opened up to her, and she opened up to me. This however meant that she's let me in to her most protected and personal inner layer. Our conversations got a little deeper, …

Don't overthink too much, you can't prepare for every possible outcome.

I'd say as long as it's clear what both your motives are and both feel fine about it, then go ahead and have fun while you can

You text her whenever you want to. Don't follow pointless rules like when and how long to wait. Do it whenever you feel like it's appropriate. Don't shower her in texts though. Keep it simple, and maybe point back to something that you two had going before.

I fully agree. Those things shouldn't be that connected at all, especially when someone is already fully comfortable with his own being

I think rule 3 is especially important in the context of boredom. Masturbation isn't a bad thing on its own, but it should be done with pleasure being the motivation, not the fact that you're bored.

It's not purely about nofap, more about masturbating. I've seen a lot of posts in nofap about people claiming to gain superpowers, and starting nofap to better themselves as if masturbating is something unhealthy. Now porn addiction is something different, and indeed might call for different measures. Most that get the advice to masturbate less though is because they believe it'll make them more successful at seduction

Which is exactly why having a high self worth is so important to improve before working on everything else. This would make you more sure of life too, and care less about the things that made you insecure in the past

It's just texting, don't over think

Of course it's okay to cry. Crying is an emotion, and you'd be lying to yourself if you wouldn't accept that emotion. Look at it positively: you're already so far that you actually see what's going on. You see that you're making the same mistakes, and are going back the same old results. But there's no harm in that man. Just make sure you're not loosing who you want to be in the process. Working on yourself is hard indeed, and a process you probably never truly finish. Look at it as a climb to t…

Exactly. It's fun when things suddenly escalate fast, but there's no harm in actually working towards that point. Makes sure it won't get boring that fast.

Great advice, going on a date with her again this evening. Will use this idea to get the right mood going.

Yeah noticed that too. I'm currently dating one that does accept kissing and being physical, but will hardly initiate it herself. Like she needs a push, but once she's over the edge she's down for more. I just have absolutely no idea how high that edge is with her compared to the other girls I've dated so far. Certainly makes things more interesting and somewhat rewarding when it goes right

I guess the motivation behind it is most important. As a guy, if I'd be approaching other women with the idea that they could be a backup for my current relationship then I would seriously doubt the healthiness of that relationship. It's fine to do it for fun, but I wouldn't do it with the idea of needing a backup, in a way that also shows no backbone and just insecurity

What I really learned past period, undoubtedly also helped by reading that book is that self-worth should probably be at the top of your improvement list if you have troubles connecting with women. High self-worth makes you more secure about your actions, more comfortable with your flaws, and thereby a lot less needy. Improve yourself before you start focusing on others

Same, I noticed that exercising and being productive really helps too. Guess it improves your self worth

I personally kind of like dates like these. They make you feel like you succeeded at something, and gradually go to being more fun when the girl starts opening up.

I noticed the sex was actually pretty epic though when the moment suddenly arose to have sex. Like when you have the house to yourself or she wants you so badly that you just end up bagging in the car

That part about getting work done is spot on for me. I noticed that when having a gf that's also working hard for her study for example, that I would do the same. I was extremely motivated to do my best when with her.

I would just talk to her about it. Especially since you two are already so close, talking about feelings shouldn't be that hard. Just pick a right moment and don't do it through text or anything

I would say the most important is having the inside kind of clean. When I've time and it's an important date then I'll just wash my car (also for myself). But other than that, just make sure it isn't a riding garbage can

Exactly. Being nice isn't bad at all. Being nice also means being interested and remembering stuff they tell you. I guess you could say that you need to be nice to yourself as well. But being Mr nice guy isn't that bad at all. Just don't Mr I'll do anything even if it's bad for me guy

I love driving around with someone. There's a lot to talk about all the time. And flirting is easier when you're a but shy I guess (you know, no forces eye contact) You really get to know each other better, and you can use what you learn about her/him in the car for when you two are at the destination.

Call me stupid but I've never used Tinder. Guess its a good way to check your popularity, but other than that it's just a grading game
/r/seduction01/05/14 03:21 PM

Op is right. "Train" this on your daily routine, use it when going out. It also is a great way to make the first contact more easier and shows if she's interested or not ;)
